Visited this Pub 🍻 for the first time late afternoon bank holiday not crowded very large establishment very efficient table service did not have to wait too long for food and drinks A good atmosphere will visit again 😊

This place has steadily gone downhill in the past year. My meat was tough when it finally arrived despite being the first customers of the day & my meal was definitely not as advertised. Very slow & very poor. A shame, my family used to visit here reguarly. Alas no longer. Plenty of other restuarants in the area. This was 5 years ago, see what I mean about slow?.LOL Who's Jeremy? No improvement in people skills either lol

Always a pleasure visiting the Boundary on the Green. The staff are friendly and attentive. The pub is clean. The food is always of the highest quality in its presentation, cooking and temperature. The drinks and food come out quickly. Can't find any fault!

Hadn't been to the Boundary for some time so was tempted by the 30% offer of mains. Despite some negative reports in the past everything was OK. Good service from Sarah and pleasant food. Would go there again.

Had a really lovely Mother’s Day spent here! Excellent service by carol and food was delicious. Every dinner or drinks here has always been a great experience! Me and the family love it here. Great for children in the summer as huge green outside to run around

Food was nice, looked like they were very short staffed one waitress was taking orders from every table. When we asked for the bill the waitress told us they didn’t add service charge and any tips would be appreciated, we always leave a good tip anyway. She also asked us to go to Google not trip advisor and leave a 5* review and to mention her name which I think was an odd thing to say. But overall food was nice

The only problem was when people used the door to leave the whole room, which had a very cold breeze. We had to wear our coats because it was so cold. There needs to be a 2nd door when you leave, so there is no breeze.Apart feom that it was nice

Came to visit the pub with my family last Friday evening. Can say that we had an amazing time. The staff were all pleasant and our server Carol was amazing. Nothing was too much trouble and the food was delicious and priced right. The atmosphere was lovely and we all had a lovely night. Definitely a place to visit if you haven’t. Will be returning soon

visited the Boundary on Friday night for a meal with friends was greated by Carol who showed us to our table and got us a drink while we looked at menu also recommend the specials which we took up on food was amazing Carol took great care of us and made sure everything was ok will definitely be back

Food was the best yet and even though you were very busy, the service was good too

Food was good however, it was not hot rather lukewarm on this occasion. Unlike other meals we have enjoyed.

We booked this venue for my granddaughter’s birthday. When was arrived there were already two items off the menu, the ribeye steak and the seabass. Given the menu is quite restricted, it quite a lot. We were told everything else was available. We ordered some humous to start and drinks. When the waitress came to take our order, she then said that the roast beef was now also off the menu. Struggling to find something to eat at the continually reducing menu, we order five Steak Americanos and a burger. Jokingly, I said you better run and take the order before this also runs out, we were assured that this would not run out. At the time she said that the steaks would be available, she brought out our humous and bread. Some four minutes later the waitress came out and told us that they only had only had one of these left. We told her we would be leaving, but I wanted to see the duty manager – as this was appalling. We had no option but to find an alternative restaurant - having arrived at 18:20 it was now 19:00 and we did not want to be eating too late, but it was my granddaughter’s birthday!!. We booked the Fox. At this point the duty manager had still not come to see us and we had to go and find her. She had the audacity to charge us for the food that we had had!!!!! I ended up paying for the humous, and three of the drinks, I refused to pay for two as they had hardly been touched. Even so, I was flabbergasted. As we were now running late for the other restaurant, I felt I had no choice but to pay, but I will be challenging this. The duty the manager also had the cheek to say that we should appreciate that roasts were going to sell out by this time of night!!! What is wrong with her, when I book a restaurant, I expect that the items on the menu would be provided, it wasn’t a case of us rocking up and taking a chance with the menu!! Ultimately, we have given this restaurant several opportunities – over a period of years and under the different names. They may change the name, but the exceptionally poor service, and poor management never changes. I fully expect a refund of what we spent in the restaurant as it was our intention to get a three course meal for each of the six in our party, and the fact that you caused us the need to go to an alternative restaurant is not our fault but yours. As a gesture of goodwill, all charges should have been waived. I will be putting a full review on social media. I would like to stress this was not my choice of restaurant but that of my granddaughter for her birthday celebrations, as previous poor experiences would suggest we avoid it. However, on this occasion you exceed in providing the worst service of all. Update on this review the Manager has now made contact with me and we are in discussions. This is what I would have expected at the time.

Perfectly acceptable pub for a quick lunchtime getaway. Food is fairly standard, service was friendly. Absolutely cannot complain and would be happy to visit again.

Monty who works in the bar was polite, helpful and accommodating. What a lovely person to have when you first come in. We ordered at the bar and very helpful with our choices of drinks. Serving staff very friendly. Only negative (small) was we felt cold where we were sitting, not as warm as usual.

Food was very good, however not enough staff for service. Starters arrived before drinks, 30 minutes before they arrived. Asked for more drinks when main arrived but never arrived so left before dessert. Need to have enough staff to serve people.

Our waitress Carol was courteous and friendly and very helpful 😀 we have visited many times and would highly recommend using your restaurant however I personally would have liked to see a vegetarian or vegan option on the specials menu on valentines. Only have the 2 options on the main menu can also get some what repetitive

I booked a table in the restaurant area but even though there were many empty tables, we were sat at a very small table, squeezed in a corner. I booked a Sunday specifically for a roast but only two dinners were available. I don't eat beef so ended up ordering from the main menu. My daughter's prawn cocktail was tiny, my lamb shank was very fatty and the pork belly was not cooked properly. All meals were very small for the price and even after a 30% discount voucher was applied, the bill was still £83 for 3 people. The drinks consisted of tap water, a coke and a mojito and we all had 2 courses. Very expensive!!

The food, on the whole, was delicious. The ribeye steak was a little too well done for my liking, which is a shame. The only drawback was the amount of time waiting for service. My guess is the steak was waiting under the lights for too long. This has not put me off however, as I mentioned before the rest of the food was banging. I will be back for round two in the not too distant future.

This place has had several changes of name and finally seems to have shaken off its previous reputation for slow service. We were well looked after and served reasonably quickly on a busy Sunday lunchtime.

Everything was great - it was a very busy evening but the service was faultless as was the food everything came out hot and for all 15 of us at the same time . We were very impressed and my mother in law had a lovely 80th birthday celebration thank you all so much

Normally service is fine, but, on Saturday 13th Dec, waited for over 50 minutes for food. And then, 20 minutes for puddings. Almost got up and walked out at one point. Would suggest, maybe more staff...

Had booked a quiet table on line as was taking our 94 year old mum out. We were initially offered a table right in the centre so asked to have a corner table which was arranged. Waitress, I think her name was sara was very good and the food was excellent. However, the restaurant was draughty and cold. I think being seated around the other side by the toilets was warmer, especially for my elderly mum.

Place was beautiful and clean. Food very tasty and service was exceptional!!! We will definitely come back!

Lovely pub/restaurant . Enjoyed a fantastic meal there tonight & considering it was New Year’s eve & busy, our food was fantastic and we didn’t have to wait long either. Carol our waitress was amazing ! So attentive, helpful & friendly and made sure we had an enjoyable evening, providing an exceptional service. The guy on the door who saw us to our table was extremely helpful too. Will definitely be returning soon. 😊

Good service, fish and chips not quite as good as on my previous visit - too much batter.....hence 4 stars instead of 5. Also no decaf tea!

Visited today for a family meal, the food was lovely and service was pretty good, the only downside was the bar area was quite loud with men standing at the bar drinking and speaking loudly. Maybe a weekday it would be a bit quieter and more relaxed, we would go back another day, as the food was very good.

Cozy atmosphere with Christmas decor, friendly staff and enjoyable food. The fries had the right amount of crunch and softness inside.
