Blas at Fronlas

Newport, Pembrokeshire, 20-30£
14/07/2019: We had a few breakfasts at Blas last week and the quality was always high. The coffee is excellent - the orange juice is far better than many others, and the scrambled eggs are perfectly cooked and served with quality bacon, lashings of mushrooms or smoked salmon.
29/06/2019: Called in with friend for breakfast on a Sunday morning. Great service and good quality food served promptly and efficiently and for a reasonable price. Thoroughly recommend.

Blas Restaurant at Twr y Felin

St. David's, Pembrokeshire, 20-30£
16/07/2019: This was not just a meal, this was an experience. The service, food and atmosphere were beautifully balanced. The starter of crab was an astonishing experience. The watermelon under the white crabmeat gave a texture of fresh crispness that could not be produced in any other way and the merest hint of fennel a master stroke.
12/07/2019: Writing this, I am more than happy that we’ve already booked for tomorrow night, too, in Twr y Felin. Absolutely stunning! Welsh dining, as good as it comes! In Twr y Felin, every single part ans particly serm to find their right places, with style, effortlessly. Despite having to sit just under the eyes of Hannibal Lecter, the atmosphere is simply sublime! Professional service, kind and gentle, and exactly the right deciration to make you feel like you’ve reach kind of the next level of life! Had three courses, first crab on lemon, excellent! Then lamb, excellent - and one of the very rare occasions when the asparagus really gets a life of its own! So lovely, I cannot describe it. For dessert, the tastiiedt panna cotta ever, with beautiful and fresh strawberries! The wine list in impressive - definitely composed by someone who appreciates an knows good wines. We picked their Nebbiolo, and I loved it! All-in-all, however you choose to asses this redtsurant, the result csnnot be anything but excellent! Interesting to see ehst tomorrow will bring - I’ve already picked my selections, and I know, I eill be surprised. Positively!

The Brewery Inn Cosheston

Lamphey, Pembrokeshire
20/07/2019: We dropped into the brewery inn for a quick bite to eat before getting the ferry and it was fantastic! The staff were all really friendly, the food was great as it is fresh and cooked to order. I wouldn’t hesitate in recommending the Brewery inn and I’d go back in an instant.
20/07/2019: Had dinner here with my extended family and dog (15 all told), while on holiday. We had to book ahead and pre-order given the numbers, but that made everything much more efficient on the night. The food was good, the wine reasonable and the owners and staff very friendly. Very happy to recommend.

Tenby: South, Pembrokeshire
22/07/2019: We visited whilst on a short break in Tenby. I booked based on the good reviews on Trip Advisor. The restaurant is quite small as it is built into the arches in the town wall. The staff were very helpful and friendly but not intrusive. The food was excellent. It quite expensive but worth it for the atmosphere.
19/07/2019: We chose well based on trip advisor reviews - highly recommended a cosy restaurant with the town wall

The Nags Head

Cilgerran, Pembrokeshire
17/07/2019: We're local & love bringing visitors to our local hostelries, especially one as good as this. We've been here for lunch with friends, for a quiet pint with the dogs after a walk, for a romantic anniversary meal and in a large group. We haven't once been disappointed We were there again last night and everyone in our group thoroughly enjoyed their meals, my lamb rump melted in my mouth.
08/07/2019: off the beaten track but well worth finding - gem of a place to eat food served fast and good quality- staff friendly and professional . gets very busy so ensure you book a table

The stowaway coffee co.

Tenby: South, Pembrokeshire
12/07/2019: Lovely little coffee shop with a great menu. First rate cakes, pastries and snacks. Quirky location and decor and some lovely table games to convince you to linger.
10/07/2019: Great to see a business like this thrive in Tenby. Never disappointed with the coffee from this little gem. Really nice staff and very friendly. Bought a few coffees and Ice creams during my visit to Tenby this year.

Gianni's Ice Cream

St. David's, Pembrokeshire
19/07/2019: Great on a hot summer's day: great range of interesting ice-creams (and a few sorbets?). Limited seating outside.
17/07/2019: A nice treat on a hot day. Coffee was tasty, ice cream delicious with a variety of flavors made on site.

The Shed Bistro

Llanrhian, Pembrokeshire, 20-30£
23/07/2019: Lovely tea and cakes here, very friendly owners who are easy-going and run a great business. The fish and chips are excellent too.
19/07/2019: Nestled into a small but historic fishing dock, this lovely establishment offers a variety of fresh fish which is sustainably caught where possible. The crab sandwiches are a must however you need to be quick as the supply of crab is limited due to being incredibly fresh!

Cafe Mor

Pembroke: St. Mary North, Pembrokeshire
19/07/2019: Simply that...the best beach food on offer anywhere...friendly staff, real fresh food and real smiles.
18/07/2019: One of those places you hope to find by a beach but rarely ever do. Fresh, local amazing honest food served up from a quirky boat van by cheerful ladies. Clearly a local favourite and tracked down by tourists like us. Well worth the drive. Oh and the beach is fab too so go on make a day of it you won’t be disappointed

Amroth Arms Restuarant

Amroth, Pembrokeshire, <20£
19/07/2019: Outside clean, smart and great views of the coastline - inside clean, friendly and great service. We ordered coffee and a delicious bacon bap £5 & decaf coffee and cake £5 both great value for what you got.
19/07/2019: Great food and staff so friendly. There is a really good atmosphere and seating outside when weather is good right on the seafront with fantastic views

The Canteen

Newport, Pembrokeshire
01/07/2019: I’ve enjoyed many pizzas here, and the quality is consistently high. My son tells me their burgers are just as good. The staff are enthusiastic and friendly, service good and you can see your pizzas being made and cooked while you’re waiting. The only downside is that it gets packed as it’s so popular - and there are so few other places to compete - so it’s very noisy which is a challenge. Something to just live with as it’s very compact, with no room to expand.

Narberth, Pembrokeshire
13/07/2019: Wonderful food and relaxed atmosphere as always. The only negative is being asked for a tip. Sorry but if asked we don’t give.
13/07/2019: This was our fourth visit, and the food was excellent as always. Food is good value, but the beer is a bit pricey, even for a restaurant. The only spoiler for us is being asked for a tip when paying for the bill. It’s a shame.

Top Joes

Tenby: South, Pembrokeshire
22/07/2019: Once you get past the strange names the pizza's in this place are to die for.
22/07/2019: Went here not with high Hopes but food was stunning, great service and lovely atmosphere. Love the 80s music too. Definitely recommend.

Dragon Palace

East Williamston, Pembrokeshire
23/07/2019: Staff really polite and accommodating. Food was ok but not authentic at all. Sauces thick and sweet. Almost too rich to eat. Chinese made for a western palate which I would not recommend. We went because of the reviews and how busy the place looked but it did not live up to our expectations
22/07/2019: Wife and I visited the palace on a Monday evening about 1830 and were lucky to get a table as the restaurant was very busy. There were also lots of take away being collected so I was a little concerned about the speed of the service, I need not have worried. The service was excellent, pawn crackers arrived quickly and drinks orders taken. We ordered the set meal at £16.50 and pretty soon we had a tray full of piping hot mixed starters on our table. These were delicious. The staff attention to detail was top notch and service what you might expect at a top quality restaurant. Plates were taken away promptly and then the waiter asked if we are ready for our mains which was a very nice touch? The mains dishes and rice were well prepared and again piping hot, warm plates arrived at our table immediately before the the main meals. Portions of a sufficient size to fill a couple of ‘healthy’ eaters. Plenty of parking immediately along side the restaurant. Enjoyed our visit immensely, and would certainly go back.

Quayside Lawrenny Tearoom

Martletwy, Pembrokeshire
22/07/2019: I have never been happier to give a good review. This place is outstanding. Looks like it's always busy and not surprising. In past years we had visited their other cafe in Angle which has now been sold. We ordered at the counter and I decided to get the desserts there and then. BIG MISTAKE. We both ordered their Lighthouse Keeper's platter. SECOND MISTAKE. We should have shared one as they were MASSIVE. 3 big chunks of cheese, apple, grapes, chutney, crispy baguette and a cheese and cranberry scone. We were really full but as I'd already got the desserts we had to eat them and boy were they fabulous. A jumbleberry cheesecake and a key lime cheesecake. Stunning and very light.
21/07/2019: We have been coming here at least once every year when we are on holidays - sometimes even twice and have never been disappointed. The food is always lovely and fresh and the desserts are stunning. They make ham, salad and new potatoes a beautiful plate full of food and my husband always looks forward to the cheese and leek tart.
