Food is superb, we had a large seafood platter for two which was very plenyful! Mike and Krysia extremly hepful after some confusion.

Excellent shop for fresh seafood. We bought a lobster for our lunch at our campsite. This place is not a restuarant and never has been.

What a find this was for us today! We planned to have lunch at The Harbour Inn but no parking space availble. We pulled into Something Fishy by chance. The owners were fantastic and arranged for us to have a spider crab lunch within 10 minutes (normally needs to be booked) The quality was superb. Beautifully presented with home made coleslaw, some crisps and then the deliciously generous spider crab sanwiches on a bed of salad. We enjoyed every bite within their gorgeous garden. Try not to miss out on a visit.

We always try and get some lobster and crab from these guys. They didn’t disappoint this time either. Huge, fresh servings and we have feasted on it for three days. It is something else!

Had a dressed Lobster and a dressed Crab every day last year for a week, a lot cheaper than eating out and what a treat to eat such fresh Lobster and Crab daily. The owner is so lovely and friendly and her husband catches what they sell daily. A lovely business that I am happy to support. Back this September for a week and already dreaming of dinner time.

Called in for two rounds of crab sandwiches, they were freshly made in a matter of 10 minutes. Ate them at home in the garden, totally delicious, will call again! Highly recommend, thank you.

We had a lobster salad which was delicious very helpful and if you visit the barn there is a good selection of seafood to choose from, only open 3 days at the moment, you are able to order via phone. Enjoy

Delicious fresh seafood platter. Ordered the day before by txt. Great communication. Picked up at our convenience, then headed down to Solva harbour and enjoyed with a pint. This is a must if your in the area and you’ll not find fresher or tastier fish.

Was disappointed to see there was no social distancing outside on the patio the tables were very close to each other ,also no one cleansed our table before we sat down in fact did not see any tables cleaned ,, However the food was delicious

I picked up a dressed crab and lobster and were extremely impressed with the freshness and quality of them both. The shop is very clean and organised and staff were extremely helpful and friendly. Will definitely be paying a visit next time I'm in Solva.

Something Fishy sell the most amazing crab and lobster. Mikey catches them every day and he and Krysia prepare them beautifully. We've been enjoying their fabulous seafood since moving to Solva and now there have a lovely tea room where you can enjoy fresh Solva crab sandwiches straight from the sea.

We come across this lovely seafood shop. on the road on our way home from our camping trip at Porth Clais in St David’s and made a U-turn. The best and very affordable dress crab and lobster. Very helpful owner bought a cooler box and ice pack to keep the seafoods fresh for a 5 hour drive. Made lovely supper. It was delicious! Highly recommended if you are visiting the area! JC and AK

Stopped here on the way home from the beach. Bought a dressed crab and two pots of dark crab meat. Most went into a crab risotto later that evening (after sampling plenty before it went in the pan). Rest made delist sandwiches next day. Friendly owner and reasonably priced.

Something fishy has just moved to the other side of Solva village which took some finding until we saw the big red lobster on the main Solva-Newgale road. Great value and quality dressed crab and lobster. Saw they are doing crab sandwiches and cream teas too, must try next time we visit.

We pulled in becuase the lobster statue looked fun. It was so fresh and tasty. The lady put together a bespoke buffet. With huge crab, lobster, salad, warm rolls, pasta salad and coleslaw. There is a canoe with live lobster and crab, just shows how fresh it is. Lots of lovely fresh sea food to buy and take away as well as stay and have in. Not to mention the perfect views. Bliss.oj and she packed up what was left for us to take home. All for £30!!!!!!!

I chose this place for a birthday treat and I'm so glad I did. We booked a seafood platter meal and took our own bottle of chilled wine. We say outside in the lovely garden with extensive views across the countryside and around to the sea. So quiet and peaceful, too. The sun shone and the sky was cloudless. It was lunchtime. The platter of seafood was huge with delightfully dressed crab and lobster as well as shell on langoustine and lots of shelled coldwater prawns. All this on a bed of crisp, fresh salad accompanied by a warm crusty roll and bowls of coleslaw and pasta salad. We grazed and sipped our way through a perfect couple of hours. Sublime. Something we'll definitely do again next time we're in the area.

We bought dressed crab, lobster and spider crab and they were beautifully presented and delicious. Lovely surroundings and fabulous location, friendly and interesting couple who are very knowledgeable about what they do. They catch and prepare everything themselves. I would thoroughly recommend. Fell upon this little gem on the side of the road,Mickey and Krysia ,open their garden to anyone who wants to sit out ,but really a takeaway,delicious shellfish fully prepped to enjoy.

I had both brown crab and spider crab. Both of them had a good quantity of brown meat and excellent pieces of white crab meat. Not the normal little pieces of shredded white meat, but whole pieces of leg meat and claw meat. It has to be expertly cooked to come out in those good sized pieces. Lovely.

Called in after recommendation from Rebecca at our campsite bought some Hake and it was so tasty. They do Platters of Lobster,Crab and Prawns too. Would highly recommend them.

There was a warm welcome at Something Fishy provided by Krysia. The shop was spotlessly clean and there was fresh crab, spider crab and lobster available (dressed or undressed). We had a dressed spider crab (much nicer than the normal) and lobster. Both were super fresh and vey delicious.

We live in Pembrokeshire and are always looking for somewhere different and special for lunch, Solva being one of our favourite destinations. Something Fishy suddenly appeared on Facebook with great reviews so we decided to visit. I called and spoke to Mickey yes where open and it’s BYO, yippee. What a fabulous warm welcome by the whole family our two dogs were welcome and a fabulous table with views over the sea and countryside. We chose the mixed seafood with crab , king prawn, lobster , spider crab served with salad and bread, delicious and beautifully presented. Thank you Keisha you know how to prepare a meal, she did mention if you want a large mixed platter give a days notice, we will and see you all soon

The friendliest of welcomes, freshest lobster crab and fish anywhere. It has become a weekly event, I even had to show my husband where it is incase he fancies langostine when I'm out.

The restaurant is actually officially open in June. Even though, the very nice lady, who is the owner of the restaurant, served us a lovely fresh seafood platter and homemade sourdough for lunch. The surroundings is beautiful and I highly recommend it.

This is the second visit to Something Fishy and now Mikey and Krysia have really settled into their new premises. It's super clean and not a little quirky with live lobsters and crab stored in a rowing boat - the kids will love to see them!

Finding Something Fishing has made our holiday, we had lobster one night, seafood platter a few days later and having the Combo tomorrow! Very well priced and you wouldn’t get fresher anywhere and so delicious.

Booked yesterday, picked up today - a dressed lobster, dressed crab and many langoustine; fresh and tasty, and cheaper than a Chinese takeaway for two.

Mike catches lobsters, crabs and other fish. Thoroughly recommend the beautifully dressed crab and lobster. Krysia dresses the crabs to the highest standard and the crabs taste as delicious as they look. Can't wait for the summer to sit in their garden eating crab sandwiches!

Called in on the way home to Swansea to buy a dressed crab. Very impressed with the spotlessly clean premises and the friendly service from Krysia. The crab was absolutely delicious, full of large chunks of white meat but also plenty of tasty brown meat, just as we like it. We bought a platter from Krysia for our Anniversary dinner - excellent local lobster & crab plus prawns, langoustines. With a bottle of English Sparkling Wine, good bread and salad it was a lovely celebratory meal.
