Been here several times. Food always delicious and plenty of it. Staff friendly and efficient. Value for money especially lunchtime.

My daughter booked Mesken for Mother’s Day (yesterday) we have been many times before and always enjoyed the food and atmosphere yesterday I was very disappointed our table was booked for 3pm at 4.20 we had not been given the desert menu and asked did we want desert if not could we finish our drinks the bar area as they were waiting for the table we ordered dessert and my husband had a coffee whilst I was still eating and my husband had only just had his coffee arrive the waiter put the bill on the table I felt we was being rushed out when my daughter booked she was never given a time frame I don’t expect to sit there all day but I though we would of had the table for 2 hours which I think is normal

I ordered 4 platters for iftar. I arrived a little early and found my order on the grill. Staff were very helpful and polite. They even gave me a bottle of water and dates to break my fast in case I was stuck in traffic and helped me take my order to my cab. Would defo recommend them. Thank you to all staff. Keep up the good work.

I am very dissatisfied I ordered on Sunday and was amazing due to my allergys but tonight I made sure notes were added and they don't read it as my meal was put on bulger wheat rice (contains gluten) and cucik this is a yoghurt base (dairy allergys) it was also only warm when I called the lady was nice but they only offered to replace. My meal so wanted my mum to eat and then me to eat later when it arrived so I have asked for a full refund. I take back the 5 star review from Sunday

The food was disgusting and not cook have blood on my lamb chops , stuff with out uniform and they not friendly at tall , I will never come here and spend 10£ for 4 nuggets and couple off chips

Pedimos 2 grandes kebabs como nuestro primer pedido de Fiko's - para ser honesto, eran muy promedio, yo tenía 3 - 4 papas fritas allí y las porciones eran muy pequeñas para decir que es un 'grand' kebab - la carne sabía como si viniera de una lata de atún. Me sorprendió ya que hay un montón de buenas críticas, pero sí en esta ocasión una gran decepción para ser honesto.

We come here a lot for our dinner and it never fails to surprise us. We usually buy a combo since it's cheaper rather than separately. My mum really loves the pomegranate sauce on the Seasonal salad, she really recommends it. The Sehriyeli rice is amazingly flavoured and I get it every single time I go because it is so great. The layout and scenery of the establishment is very appealing and the music in the background is just lively enough for the mood. It it usually very packed, I can understand why because of the food quality, it's some of the best meat I've ever eaten. Would be useful if there were more than three toilets (counting the disabled toilet) for usage since it can get extremely busy within minutes. Restaurant is sometimes understaffed and the cook that has to multi-task with serving really needs some extra credit. It's getting to the point that the staff recognise us from how often we come. Food is always above expectation and I love the food, especially when I haven't eaten in hours, amazing job! - Lurra

We were the only people in the restaurant, apart from one other couple who left soon after we arrived . (It was awful weather, though..!). It is pleasant inside, with colourful Turkish lamps and we thought a good ambience. The one waitress was very attentive, and brought us free mulled wine and then some delicious, warm flatbread with two dips - also free! Then I had the sea bream, a whole fish, nicely cooked with small roast potatoes and lovely, crisp vegetables. My other half had the lamb chops, with a gorgeous array of salad things. We couldn’t resist ordering the baklava, and we were given four each, along with ice cream, and then we had a liqueur coffee each, so we were well stuffed when we finally left, which was a mistake we keep making and is another story..! We paid by card. It was a fantastic eating experience, with well cooked, authentic food, and we shall definitely be back!

Visiting Wakefield for the rhubarb festival with family and happened upon this restaurant. Fresh bread and dips on arrival and the tastiest charcoal grilled food I have had in a long time. Highly recommended!

Food was nice the kebab was nice needed a bit of seasoning . The salad was nice may of been too much salad on iy . The chips 🍟 was very nice . May have a bit too manny chips for a regular portion . The staff was nice was vauled for money. Only reason I couldn't give it 5 stars it didn't have heating on when we where sitting in so we kept our coats on while eating.

Food was delicious and plentiful. Lovely warm ambiance, super kind, cheerful and attentive staff. Thoughtfully brought out a slice of cake with candles and played a very cool birthday song!! Happy to leave us chatting away like we were in our own lounge.

I ordered food from the restaurant. Spent £80 worth. My meal was incomplete and looked like I had spent about £20 worth of food. It was shocking and very disappointing especially as I had eaten here before and previously enjoyed it. I definitely would not recommend Ege to anyone now after that disappointment. DO NOT GO HERE, it’s a complete rip off!!!!
