Visiting Wakefield for the rhubarb festival with family and happened upon this restaurant. Fresh bread and dips on arrival and the tastiest charcoal grilled food I have had in a long time. Highly recommended!

What a wonderful experience, from start to finish. We went with the recommendation of the mixed grill for 2 people. It didn’t disappoint… tender, flavoursome food. Highly recommend. We will be returning.

The food was delicious. My friend took me out on my birthday and I loved it. I will definitely be visiting again. This is a clean place with friendly helpful people. I dined there and took food home for family who also enjoyed their meals too.

Food was amazing and the service (mainly by the male employees - because they were a lot more smiley & seemed to want to be there) was great too. Slightly too loud too hear people even say just across the table from you but it's an absolute must for a visit.

29 Towngateoutstanding graft for these guys. Ordered some food and they forgot the sauces. Gave them a ring and to my surprise they sent them round within 5 minutes. All the food was great too 👍

10 Durey LaneA party of 7 visited an empty restaurant on a saturday night for a friends 29th. We all ordered from a very different menu from the one that was advertised on the sign outside - which took over an hour and 20 minutes to arrive. The food came out sporadically after we were told that the food was taking so long because they wanted it to arrive at the table at the same time. It didn’t. We ended up with two of our part not eating and cancelled those dishes with the waiting staff asking if they were sure that we just didn’t want to ‘take it home’. The management didn’t see an issue with an hour and a half wait and said ‘oh yeah I know what it’s like when you’re hungry’. Terrible experience - avoid like the plague.
