A wonderful hidden gem in Eltham. Lovely bar with great friendly service. Staff are superb. We enjoyed a lovely afternoon, rose wine was excellent and the complimentary appetisers were beautiful. Will definitely be back again and would certainly recommend this place , make sure you give it a go.

Unfortunately had one of the worst meals ever here. There were lots of little things wrong but you can let this go and give small businesses a chance during COVID times. However, the main meal was the worst. We both ordered Chateaubriand and what we received was chopped up stewing beef really over cooked. It was inedible. We had to return both meals, we asked for the bill and said we were happy to pay for our drinks and starters but the bill came including the mains! Real shame as was hoping to have a nice restaurant close to us. Will not be dining here again. Posted a review elsewhere and the restaurant commented that we asked for it to be cooked well. This is a lie. Chateaubriand should never be cooked like this and not sure how you’d make it look like stewing steak!!

Terrible food, not great drinks and very average service. Would not recommend. My picture is their idea of medium rare chateaubriand!! Upon complaining and sending the main back they still presented us with a bill to pay for it?!

I visited second time this time with my partner and we loved every bit of it, service was excellent with attention to details, food was delicious with great portions and i have to say best Calamari in town, beautiful decor.Definitely you got yourself regulars.

Maybe disadvantaged by not being on the Main Street, but actually it adds to the illusion that this magic place is not actually in eltham. Although it’s a 2 minute walk from Sainsbury’s car park. The atmosphere immediately takes you into the wider world. And music ( great Leonard Cohen playlist when we went, good quality sound, right volume). Welcoming efficient staff, delicious filling food, baclava top quality. A place to visit and revisit and revisit....

I visited with friends last week, to take advantage of the Government’s ‘Eat out to help out’ initiative. I had the steak fajitas. Food was delicious, well cooked & full of flavour. There was a slight delay in the food arriving at the table for the whole party, but this was corrected rapidly once noted, and my food hadn’t gone cold. It was delicious, and the staff well informed on the ingredients. Cocktails delightful too. Lovely holiday atmosphere in there. None of us felt like we were in Eltham. Could’ve been abroad!! Overall, can’t wait to go back. With or without the voucher scheme. Good work Scorpion Wine House!

The food was amazing and the atmosphere was great. Our waiter was very attentive and we had a great night here.

we spent the evening at this restaurant, their was incredible service and the servants were very entertaining and kind. The food was given in large portions with the right taste, while waiting for the the actual meal, they served us with side dishes e.g potato and chicken mixed with vegetables and herbs, cuscus, hummus and many more. The service was clean and done very professionally. They also had loud and enterprising music on during the evening.

İt was an amazing night, the service was outstanding and the staff was very entertaining. The bar service was aldı very kind, cocktails and small shots were taken. İt was memorable night and will be back for another eventfull evening.

I went with my family. Atmosphere and food was very nice and staff is very friendly and helpfull. We will go again.

This Bar has been decorated beautifully but do not understand its image or who their clientele are. Location is terrible over looks sainsburys exit need blinds, not enough passing trade its hidden out the way. Music was french music hall absolutely awful nice wine but...
