The best restaurants serving Thai food in South West

OK. I'm really fussy with food. Last night as 8 of us cramped in here, it was so worth the wait. Num tuck (or how ever you spell it). Was the best beef I had ever had and the taste was out of this world. I love Thai, it's up there you know. But everything was done to perfection. I will be coming back, again and again and again !!!!

Excellent food, lovely food, decor not the best but the food makes up for it friendly staff, had the squid and noodles the flat wide ones amazing but next time I will ask for no msg I was bloated after all night

A Similan Thai is a gem of a restaurant on Highcliffe high street. This was our second visit. My wife and I shared the mixed starter which we'd highly recommend - so many wonderful flavours! My wife followed it a vegetable and mushroom stir fry, while I chose by the Penang curry with tofu. The latter is not an option for the curries on the menu, but you just need to ask. It was very tasty and a generous portion, with plenty of tofu. We shared a jasmine rice and some plain noodles and the total food bill was under £50, so good value for authentic and tasty Thai food. We'll definitely be visiting again soon.

Thai has always been my favourite cuisine but no matter where I go in the UK, nothing compares to this little slice of paradise. The food is exceptional and the setting unrivalled. It’s the only place me and my husband go to without speaking - because we are too busy eating. Don’t question it. Just book it!

Fantastic. Some of the best Thai food I have eaten...especially the Tom Yam soup and Lamb Massaman curry. The staff are super friendly too. Highly recommended

Went to the restaurant with my husband and son and we all loved it. Great food, welcoming environment and pleasant service. All food appeared freshly made with very good quality ingredients. We had a great time.

This is no longer in business I assume as no answer and the grounds for the unit is going under demolition.

Had the most amazing time here, authentic thai food, the most wonderful staff and lovely atmosphere! Never received such wonderful service and the food and setting sent us back to Thailand. Will definitely be coming back

A great restaurant with amazing food, had takeaway a few times and sat in twice, the quality, quantity, presentation and taste is always outstanding, mouths watering writing this. Can’t wait to go back!

Great food,great service, great atmosphere, not expensive.

We were staying nearby for my Sisters 40th weekend getaway. On the Sunday of our trip we decided to get a Thai takeaway. When we went to collect my uncle and I ended up having a right laugh with Anyawee and Mon. They even gave us a few Singa beers to go with our meal, on the house! The food was hot, full of flavour and was utterly delicious and very reasonably priced too! I Would definitely recommend:)
