it doesn't matter how many times over the years it's been open I have never had a complaint about anything yet and it's been there for over 20 years maybe longer and I hope that they are going for many years to come with the same fantastic food

The most delicious Thai restaurant! Every dish we have tried is perfect and nothing compares to it. We have been dreaming about eating here again ever since it closed and are constantly checking to see if it has reopened. Do you have an estimate of when this will be?

Food wasn’t bad but terrible value for money in my prawn Tom yum I literally had 2 small prawns. They probably thought being deliveroo they could get a good profit in my ripping someone off they don’t speak to directly. You may of profited well this time but you will never get my business again.

Order sweet and sour chicken and egged fried rice. Everything was cold and didn’t look or taste like it was cooked the day. The sweat and sour looked like vomit. I tried to eat it as I didn’t want to waste money but it also tasted like vomit. Soggy and weird looking colour. The worse Thai food I’ve tasted in any country. People from Thailand would be disappointed if they came here. 0/10.

I paid over £40 for a 2-course set menu and a non-alcoholic drink. If you order three courses from the à la carte menu and a drink, expect to pay at least around £65. This is not a cheap restaurant. By a normal person's standards, it's quite expensive. I have had much better meals for less than this. So, about the food. The satay chicken skewers were not particularly hot. They weren't cold, but they were just warm. I also thought that two skewers was a pretty stingy portion size. Other people ordered spring rolls and only got two spring rolls. Again, that is an unusually small portion size. I will say that the peanut sauce was very good. For the main, I had pad Thai. Again, the portion size was small. Please note that I am not somebody who likes huge portions. Quite the opposite - I hate the feeling of being overly full by the end of the meal. However, nor do I expect to have to eat a snack when I get home because I am still hungry! The pad Thai was quite nice, but, again, not particularly hot when it arrived. Also a word of caution about the fruit juices: for the prices charged, I assumed that the fruit juices were being freshly squeezed to order. But no - the barman was quite clearly pouring fruit juice out of a long-life carton. Honestly, save your money and you can buy yourself better fruit juice from a supermarket. Service was okay. Our waitress was friendly. I was confused that I told her that I didn't want chillis on my meal, and when it arrived, there was a small pile of dried chilli seeds/flakes on the side. I don't mean it was in a separate bowl - it was on the same plate, touching the noodles. If the customer says no chillis on the meal, surely they should mention that as standard it comes with a pile of chilli seeds/flakes (which were very hot when I accidentally ate some). I'd also mention that the plates looked old. They had grey marks on them from where lots of cutlery has scratched over them. I wouldn't use plates that worn out in my own home, let alone expect to be given them in an expensive restaurant opposite Buckingham Palace. Overall, I'd say it would have been an okay meal for, say, £15-20 including drinks and service, especially if it had arrived hot. But I would say, save your money and go to a good cheap Thai restaurant where you will get a better meal for under £20 for three courses and drinks.

Disappointing meal at Singburi after all the good things I've heard about it. The pork belly mod krob was really dry and overcooked, I think as we were the first people sat and order taken in the second service they must of refried an older batch and reheated it as there was no juicy flavour like the other reviews say just dry and chewy meat. The crispy quail was similar with a oily and too fried flavour but was atleast in some thicker parts less overcooked. We apparently also got the last portion of the Burmese pork curry, and if I knew when I ordered it I wouldn't of - we got the odds and ends of the pork with some super fatty pork belly bits with no meat on it, and with a watery not very flavourful sauce and some ok beans. The tilapia with mango was the best dish and the sauce was nice with it bringing some nice sweetness, but the tilapia was cold (and soggy) so I'm unsure if it was supposed to be served this way. From seeing others reviews and hearing from friends who've gone it seems we had more of an outlier experience, but as it was my only time here I was not impressed and wont be back. Flavours overall were okay but the cooking of all the meat in every dish was no good.
