I had a fantastic experience at the restaurant! The food was absolutely delicious, bursting with flavor, and expertly prepared. Each dish was a delight, showcasing a wonderful blend of ingredients. Additionally, the customer service was outstanding—every staff member was friendly, attentive, and genuinely seemed to care about our dining experience. I felt well taken care of from start to finish. I can't wait to return for another meal soon! 👌🏾

I paid over £40 for a 2-course set menu and a non-alcoholic drink. If you order three courses from the à la carte menu and a drink, expect to pay at least around £65. This is not a cheap restaurant. By a normal person's standards, it's quite expensive. I have had much better meals for less than this. So, about the food. The satay chicken skewers were not particularly hot. They weren't cold, but they were just warm. I also thought that two skewers was a pretty stingy portion size. Other people ordered spring rolls and only got two spring rolls. Again, that is an unusually small portion size. I will say that the peanut sauce was very good. For the main, I had pad Thai. Again, the portion size was small. Please note that I am not somebody who likes huge portions. Quite the opposite - I hate the feeling of being overly full by the end of the meal. However, nor do I expect to have to eat a snack when I get home because I am still hungry! The pad Thai was quite nice, but, again, not particularly hot when it arrived. Also a word of caution about the fruit juices: for the prices charged, I assumed that the fruit juices were being freshly squeezed to order. But no - the barman was quite clearly pouring fruit juice out of a long-life carton. Honestly, save your money and you can buy yourself better fruit juice from a supermarket. Service was okay. Our waitress was friendly. I was confused that I told her that I didn't want chillis on my meal, and when it arrived, there was a small pile of dried chilli seeds/flakes on the side. I don't mean it was in a separate bowl - it was on the same plate, touching the noodles. If the customer says no chillis on the meal, surely they should mention that as standard it comes with a pile of chilli seeds/flakes (which were very hot when I accidentally ate some). I'd also mention that the plates looked old. They had grey marks on them from where lots of cutlery has scratched over them. I wouldn't use plates that worn out in my own home, let alone expect to be given them in an expensive restaurant opposite Buckingham Palace. Overall, I'd say it would have been an okay meal for, say, £15-20 including drinks and service, especially if it had arrived hot. But I would say, save your money and go to a good cheap Thai restaurant where you will get a better meal for under £20 for three courses and drinks.

TLDR: Sorry but you're paying £50 quid a head for sub-standard food here... I expected ALOT better. Starters: Chicken satay skewers - weren't cooked well enough on the grill - tasted like some preformed chicken meat on a skewer with sauce on the sides... I specifically did ask to remove the peanut satay sauce and they replaced this with hoisin which was good of them to do (i'm not allergic just gone off peanut since my daughter is allergic - funny eh?). 3 skewers or chicken which I could have bought from the local kebab shop as a main better than these. Mains: Stir fry beef striploin. Decent enough - beef was tendy but full of grissly bits? Oversalted by the chef saw when I get my BP checked and its 180/100 this will be the reason why. Served with egg fried rice on the side (too small a service I might add). £30 quid for the mains was a bit of a joke. Whatever happened to the food being decent and simple? Place has a nice setting, inviting bar near the reception and a high ceiling main dining area. Sorry but would not come back here again (for the food at least).

Went here after a fantastic experience in their Bangkok restaurant. Unlike the one in Thailand which is super relaxed, this has a more refined atmosphere with a slight Japanese feel to the decor. Can't fault the food, which was sublime, or the service. Wine expensive but it is central London and next door to Buckingham Palace!

Relaxing, serene interior, nice background music, food was delicious. Aromatic duck spring rolls were crispy and hot. Dipped in the hoisin it was scrumtious. The soft shell crab was delicious. The dipping sauce giving that right amount of heat. Popcorn shrimp was crunchy and a table favorite. Definitely get a mango daiquiri, it comes in a pineapple and is very good. Glad we finally made it there. Great lunch spot when out and about.

Went to the London Belgravia location as a family of 6 for a birthday meal and on entry everything seemed fine, staff were professional and i came on my own earlier than everyone else to give them the surprise birthday cake and told them that I will ask them when to bring it out. Rest of the Family arrived now including the birthday girl and we ordered drinks and whilst the presentation was decent, there was no showmanship, the cocktails were terrible and those who ordered mock tails, their drinks were equally as bad. Now unto the meals booked from the lunch menu, they were terrible, the only decent food was a chicken balls meal(forgotten the name) but the rice was overcooked, the noodles were way too flat, this is not how a Thai restaurant is meant to be. Whilst we were eating, the music was so monotone and boring, just an instrumental that was played over and over again, making most of us feel very sleepy, on a nice sunny day. Then after the meals, they cleared our tables and one of the waiters now goes directly to the birthday girl and asks her if she wants her cake now, like what sort of unprofessionalism, I literally told them that it is a surprise and I will personally tell them when it is time to reveal the cake but unfortunately it seems they do not listen and it was very annoying. Finally, I ask to go to the bathroom just to find out that it is all the way in Narnia, how can a bathroom be 2 whole floors down, luckily they had a disabled one on the same floor but it was just a stupid arrangement. The only redeeming thing about the place was that the space looked nice and everywhere smelled great but it was so bad we took off the service charge as well. Honestly would never come again.

Ohh where do I get started, the atmosphere of the restaurant as soon as you walk in a beautiful fragrance slaps you in the face and somehow seems to stay there from the time you leave. The food just wow marvelously presented which doesn’t mean much me to as long as it tasted good which it did and made me full to the maximum capacity my belly can handle. which I do take into consideration when spending a little bit more than usual which dosent matter when you inherently are also paying towards the whole experience which was definitely worth it. Food came out in a reasonable amount of time, the staff were helpful and welcoming, the use of of dimming lights really set the mood wasn't on a date but felt like it haha .Would definitely come back as mango tree is now officially my comfort food spot loved all the staff can only say good things about them. If I could leave 0 stars I would. This place is is not as it seems. Especially the Belgravia branch where we dined tonight. It was honestly a dinner from hell. If you are vegan or have any allergy to diary DO NOT EAT HERE! I booked this restaurant for my mums birthday and had heard such amazing reviews about it. So we as a family was genuinely very excited to eat at the “amazing restaurant”. My mother suffers from being allergic to ALL DAIRY products. And leaving this restaurant we now sadly have to stop off at the hospital as she has had a severe reaction eating here. All she had was plain noodles (which were rock solid) and duck in tamarind source & soy a source. The food was absolutely appalling and funny enough the only thing that got ate was my mums dry duck and noodles. When we checked the allergen menu ALL of there meals contained milk even including the vegan menu. The chef also then tried to justify why there was milk contained in the “vegan” food. And even had the audacity to say “it’s okay, it’s just 2% milk”. Which is foul. The manger was not fit for his job as he couldn’t even be asked the deal with it and tried to get the chef to deal with it. Which I have never seen in my life. Customer service was terrible, the food was terrible, and the way they dealt with the whole situation was terrible. Please do not eat here if you have any allergies, if you are vegan or planning special occasion. It can be potentially dangerous or even life threatening for you.

What an absolute disaster! Service was appauling and portion sizes small. Food was average. We received a call at 3pm on the day of our 5.30pm booking to tell us that the a la carte menu was no longer available as they were going with a Valentines set menu. With no time to find an alternative, we reluctantly went along with it. On arrival, they were still setting up the restaurant, so we waited by the bar. After being seated, and asking the waitress for information on the menu, the waitress admitted to being uninformed about the menu, which set the tone for the rest of the evening. She left promising she would return with answers. When she did return, we placed our order. Despite ordering from the set menu, there was confusion about included items, leading to a disappointing start. The menu said we get 3 courses and mocktail/prosecco for £55 each. The waitress returned again to say the mocktail we ordered was not included in the set menu - which was not clearly stated on the menu and was not honoured as such either when mentioned this was an error on their part. The starters arrived 50 minutes after our booking time. Half way into it, the server then apologetically brought the sauce for it. The mains arrived, but of course, in the line with the scatty service so far, one plate is the wrong meal. They leave the other meal with us to go cold while they make the one we actually ordered. No offers to keep the other plate warm, and we couldn't begin eating it as the side dishes did not come with it yet either. Disappointing. The main course arrived, and to our dismay, the portion size was tiny! 3 small prawns dressed up in curry sauce for a main. No one came to check on how it was or even to offer us more drinks. Fast forward to the end of the mains, we had to ask for the desserts to be served. Dessert came and was mediocre. Only one choice for dessert on the set menu is pretty poor. The billing process was yet another headache, as the initial bill amounted to an absurd £265. After challenging it, a corrected bill of £123 plus service charge was provided, which we still found excessive given the quality of service and food we received. We refused the discretionary service charge. We received no apology, no thank you, and no goodbye from the waitress. She was clearly offended, but so were we. On exit, we approached the manager to discuss the episodes of the evening. Despite voicing our concerns to the manager, no meaningful resolution or apology was offered. The service was terrible, food mediocre at best. We've eaten better Thai food at Busaba Eathai. Overall, the experience fell far short of expectations, and I would not recommend this establishment.

The waitress seemed utterly uninterested in providing even the most basic level of service, barely acknowledging us throughout our meal. The food was no better, lacking any sort of flavor or culinary skill. Even the vegetables weren't cooked properly, adding to the overall lack of quality. My advice? Avoid this place at all costs. Went here for a birthday booking. As it was during the Christmas period, It was beautifully decorated. I had been wanting to come here for a long time as I love Thai cuisine. Overall, I found the whole experience to be underwhelming and mediocre which was very disappointing for myself and my guests. Food I would have to give a 5/10 Service 5/10, atmosphere 8/10. The starters for some came out cold, which we had to ask to be rewarmed. I had the shared starters minimum 2 persons. I was a bit disappointed that there was only one of each item offered on the selections of items. For the mains, I had no issues with. Dessert was divine. I will also add that there was no acknowledgement from the staff, or even a simple happy birthday message on my dessert. I'm not sure if this is something they just don't do or whether it's down to a lack of staff awareness as it was booked as a birthday booking. Overall, the place is "ok", I do believe this establishment is better equipped for a light meal/drinks. Its worth asking for cocktail drinks off menu as I wasn't wowed by their cocktail menu at all.

First the good….This restaurant is large and pretty inside. Very nice atmosphere. Most Thai restaurants are typically very small and basic but this was much nicer than most. The food was good, not great, in my opinion, for the prices….I started out with the Tom Kha soup which chicken. There was no chicken in mine but a HUGE portion of mushrooms! That really seemed to be the main ingredient. If you love mushrooms than it may be to your liking, but I would prefer less mushrooms and more chicken. I ordered a glass of wine, the “larger” pour and it was SO small, for 13 pounds…I would suggest beer or mixed drinks and steer clear of wine unless you plan to buy a bottle. The entrees were okay, nothing special, and I’ve had much better for way less $$$. We asked the waiter at the beginning if we could have separate checks, or pay separately if the bill was all together. He said no problem but then seemed a little frustrated when we needed to pay our checks because we all needed to pay separately. He did take care of us tho, and was polite and appreciative. Bottom line is ….if looking for atmosphere, and you don’t mind paying higher prices, this place may be for you!

Had not been here for several years. It was just as good. Staff quietly friendly and efficient. Food excellent all round. Highly recommended.

First time at Mango Tree in over 10 years and it was a pleasant experience. Good food, service and, though not busy, had a nice ambience. I would definitely visit again.

Mango Tree was good. When booking we did indicate that this was a birthday treat, but there was no mention of this from the restaurant. Good selection of foods & it was tasty, but I felt fairly pricey - but then we were in central London. I would recommend & happily eat there again.

Beautiful decor spoiled by loud music that does nothing to add to the ambience. As a table of 3 we found it difficult to talk but it was turned down after we asked twice. Food delicious and service great. Would be enhanced by subtle background music not the racket playing in both the bar and restaurant.

Avoid the dish involving duck. It is small, chewable, dry and simply disgusting. However the pad thai is quite delicious.

Went for a meal here this week. The service was really average, by that it was touches like the drinks being given to the right person and meals and needing to get people’s attention. It was ok but not top notch. Food was ok.

We had business lunch for 8 people and opted for luxury thai menu £50 ppn set menu plus drinks. Food is enough for all of us and it was tasty but the serving plate is not practical. We need to share each dish one plate for 4 people and the plates need to be passed around during our meal. Plate is large and heavy. There is enough space on the table to have smaller plates and they could have given one plate for 2/3 people to share not for 4 people. Not only for starter we had 2 plates to share for 8 of us but also for the main course. This doesn’t really work for business lunch, is not friends or family gathering and there is no rotating table. Perhaps for small group business lunch work but not really for more than 6 people. Sharing plater is lovely - beef salad, chicken satay prawn spring roll very nice Main course chicken green curry pad thai drunken noodle grilled chicken is amazing Please also check the take away, we did take away for the leftovers but we missing chicken curry and chicken grill…

Lovely food and staff. It was my birthday and they were so lovely in how they acknowledged it! I don't like a lot of noise in restaurants but this was too quiet. This place should be MUCH more popular.

I love this restaurant. It’s very pretty, comfortable and the staff are very attentive. And the food is delicious. The roast duck curry in a pineapple is sublime as is the chicken pad Thai; takes these dishes to the next level. Chilli Martini cocktail is a must. Perfect place to meet friends as very close to Victoria station. Perfect.

Ambiance was very nice however the food was mediocre for the price tag. Thai green curry with chicken was tasteless and chicken was not tender at all. Sticky rice served in a plastic bag not only looked ugly but was a bad experience in a so called fine dining restaurant. When we were leaving the restaurant we weren't acknowledged or thanked- the guy who was looking out towards the tables near the exit almost blanked us. I have eaten great Thai food before for half the price I paid.

Pleasantly surprised. My family took me there for my birthday. I was expecting it to be all "stuffy" considering where it is near Buckingham Palace. Staff friendly food delicious and the ambience was great. Highly recommend.

Food was very tasty. Service was good but a little slow. Restaurant was very nicely decorated but incredibly loud but there were several large parties. Cost was on the higher side.
