Not cheap, but not expensive either. Best (northern) Thai food in North London. A proper local gem.

I love almost everything about this cuisine but will not tolerate bad attitude. On several occasions I noticed a change in attitude when POC request extras but this particular time when I asked for less of an item, the server spoke to another member of staff airing her annoyance, why? If you serve me less then I won't be throwing away the excess and more for somebody else, I don't see why it should cause her any irritation. Sad to say the other servers are nice apart from this ONE. I will be spending my money elsewhere.

Beautifully cooked and presented fresh food. I really fancied a pad Thai chicken and it did not disappoint. My husband has the sweatcorn fritters and the special pork dish which was delicious 😋 reasonably priced too

So imagine that you are in London and you spend £50 for two masaman currys, egg fried rice, starters for 2 and a glass of wine. Here the dream can come true. Currys were really mild but rich of taste. Apoetizers excellent. Staff prompt to any request. Please go there!!!

We had the Feast menu - by choice - and nothing disappointed. I’ve worked and travelled in Thailand quite a lot over the last 25 yrs and this was definitely not “standard Thai fare”! That said there were a couple of “more familiar” items on the a la carte side but if you are looking for spicy- hot and fiery - then Farang is not that. At least not just that. However, if you are looking for great flavour and complexity, then I suggest it has that. That may say more about what I’d been exposed to while travelling but that distinctive novelty is what appealed to us. The dishes were really well balanced and I loved the way that different flavours would emerge during a mouthful. The food kept me completely interested just waiting to what to see what would waft through as the next flavour! I’d normally say if I read that, that that was pretentious! But it’s not something I have often experienced, so I am letting you know. True, some dishes had more of that “flavour journey” than others but that was part of the fun. Service was great and exactly as I like it: no one hovering but were there when needed and always helpful and considerate. I have a shell fish allergy and that was taken care of seamlessly - indeed I think I lucked out on one replacement dish only I had! I am always appreciative of people who respond creatively to such issues and Farang scored 10/10 there. Finally, and this sums up the culture in the restaurant, I dropped my newly recharged (non allergenic!) Oyster card as we left. Not only did they call us to let us know they had it but three days later it arrived at home in Bristol through the mail. I’ve looked at some of the negative reviews and frankly don’t recognise the place that is being described. But we are all entitled to our opinion. We enjoyed the whole experience and will return! I note that Farang has a recipe section which I will give a try!

Visited with my friends from Poland, it’s very close to Emirates Stadium, great food, perfect beer and crew on board, highly recommend.

Solid pint after the London Canal Museum. Has outdoor seating. There is a good menu as well, but did not try. Sports on TV inside.

Unprofessional and unapologetic. My friend who is coeliac had 2 email exchanges and a phone conversation regarding our booking for a party of 5, as she needed to check whether they could accommodate her. She was reassured, and confirmed the booking. We arrived at 19.30 to find there was no record of the booking. We were seated and asked for a couple more minutes to decide on drinks, That was the last we saw of any member of staff at our table. My friend went to speak to find a member of staff to try and sort out what happened with the booking. No-one had any knowledge of it, despite being shown the emails, and seemed to have no idea about gluten free or coeliac needs re separate food prep areas etc. There seemed to be only 2 members of front of house staff dealing with quite a few tables. We decided after 20 minutes of no service to go over the road to Pho, where we got the usual cheerful and efficient service and decent food. Luckily we knew Pho, where the menu is 97% gluten free, but in other circumstances this could have meant not finding somewhere our friend could eat. None of us will eat at a Thai Square in future.. Really poor. Oh and see their reply below - I have never been contacted by their customer service team.
