It's the Number 1 spot for an Arsenal fan . Lovely staff and a great pint near the Emirates Stadium.

Such as shame that I am writing this review as I have been to the Tollington on a few occasions, last time was to watch the Lionesses win Euros and the atmosphere was great and the people friendly. However, that wasn’t my experience yesterday, when I returned with some friends to watch the netball World Cup semifinals, after reserving a space. Initially the atmosphere was fine, until the landlady appeared. She had a face like thunder was very rude. She had the audacity to approach my friend’s 6 year old son, who has additional needs and told him to be quiet and stop screaming! (He was cheering!) Firstly, what adult approaches a small child and not the adults the child is with?? He was actually sat in between two). Secondly, how can a pub that hosts Arsenal games, almost week in and week out, where the noise level is much louder than that of a 6 year old, complain about the noise and tell him to stop! To add insult to injury, the landlady turned the volume down, so we couldn’t hear the commentary in the last quarter! She said she had a migraine. Well what you doing in the bloody pub then?? Why not stay upstairs in your personal quarters. She even tried to blame a group of older gentlemen saying that they were complaining about the noise but one of gentlemen came over to ask how the game went and we apologised for the noise, he actually said that they didn’t have a problem with the noise, it was the landlady. 🤷🏾‍♀️ Now the only difference I could see between ourselves and the others pub users, was that we were a mixed group, the majority being black and the child was black! Now I can’t comment on what her problem was, I can only comment on how we were made to feel! All I know is, we won’t be going back there again. Not even to watch Arsenal play and despite the tasty Thai cuisine!!

I visited whilst in London on holiday, which coincided with the West Ham v Arsenal match (16 April 2023). We arrived about an hour before kick-off and we secured a table (which didnt matter after kick-off because it literally was standing room only). It was amazing to be in a packed pub with a bunch if other Gooners, chanting as if we were at the match. The staff (barkeeps, security, etc) were awesome and obliged to help visiting Gooners with pictures. Memorabilia adorn the walls, some subtly and others not so subtly. The pints were served in thick plastic cups (for obvious reasons), and the staff were able to keep up with the volume of orders throughout the match. Highly recommend!

Fantastisk sted for å være både før og etter kamp om man er Arsenal supporter! God service, god øl, grei mat og god atmosfære! Super stemning både før og etter kamp og romslige lokaler.

Good pub with reasonably priced drinks and (although I've not tried it) what looks like some good Thai food. Certainly the place to go if you're a gooner.

The place was recommended by an Arsenal Club shop employee at the stadium. We were just looking for a quick drink but ended up staying for the afternoon. Prices are very reasonable, space is big and clean. Surprising selection of food, Thai and English - tasty and simple, went down perfect with drinks. The above isn’t the only reason why we will definitely be back. The reason is Jo! Jo has been working at this place for over 10 years. She made us feel comfortable and shared stories about arsenal players who had visited. You don’t come across people like her in the hospitality industry anymore. Jo shares her positive energy with every person who steps into the Tollington. They are extremely lucky to have her on board!

We were there and it was fantastic. The beers were delicious. You can choose between 6-7 beers (not sure). The staff were super nice. We only drink beers but there were many people who ordered food or drink something else. The atmosfere of this pub was incredible.

From the top to the bottom the tollington is a home from home! Jo and mona lovely server's fun and entertaining! The managers Anna and Steve are such lovely welcoming people and to top it off they even serve Thai food! I don't live locally but felt like I grew up there! Great atmosphere, great people and a pukka pint of guiness!

Whilst in London from Devon for the weekend to see the Arsenal match, we soon found and frequented this great place. Thank you to Anna and the staff we met for making us feel so very welcome, so much so, I have a whole page on my banking app of 'The Tollington Arms' ha. Anyway great selection of all drinks, staff couldn't do enough for you, and even though they had only just met us soon remembered our 'usual'. Regrettably because of other plans we never ate the food, but it looked and smelt delicious and is defo a reason for us to return, just to try it. Pre and post match was great fun - you need to show match tickets to get in though pre match so be aware of that. See you soon... our new home from home local The Tolly! I've only tended to go to The Tollington on a match day but were were visiting the Arsenal shop for some Christmas shopping and popped in for lunch. The services is excellent at the bar and the Thai food is very good and really reasonable. Chicken Pad Thai for £9 is amazing value. Two of us had three starters and two main courses for £31, you cant beat ity.

Friendly service and the Thai food is decent quality and excellent value at £8 for a main - much better than most pubs in the area. Beer is reasonably priced too. Good atmosphere for football and lots of TV screens.

I have been going there for years but was recently refused payment with some Scottish bank notes i had. No wonder the Scots want independence if this is how we welcome them in England

It is a good bar to visit on match days. The pints come in plastic but they are some of the best you can get when Arsenal are playing at home. The staff are friendly and I'm always amazed how I can get served so quickly in a crowded bar. There are giant TV s to show previews of the match.

Followed the crowd to find this gem for a pre match pint or 3. Friendly and helpful door staff, efficient and courteous bar staff, normal pub prices which is a bonus. Heated outdoor smoking area, ample TVs around the rooms, didn’t sample the food but it did look and smell amazing. Will happily return here on our next visit. Thanks for having us.

Only a five minute walk from the armoury (the south-west of the stadium). Decent selection of beers on tap, sky sports on the monitor. Even some craft beee offerings like Camden helles

Vine a Tollington por unas pintas antes de la Copa Emirates. Las bebidas tenían un precio razonable y había unas pocas pantallas de TV y muchos recuerdos del Arsenal. Found this place close by where we were staying and tried it out. Friendly bar though crowded and to be avoided when Arsenal is playing a home game, but at other times nice neighborhood place with good Thai food.

Random visit this afternoon, intentionally for a pint (of course), lovely pub, very welcoming , lovely girl behind the bar who made other customers welcome. Definitely will be go back and recommend it for the future

Ubicado a solo 2 minutos a pie de los Emiratos, Tollington es el pub perfecto para las pintas pre y post partido. El ambiente animado pero frío también es ideal para ver un juego, ya que hay muchos televisores.El personal es excepcional, realmente no podía decir una mala palabra. A pesar de estar ridículamente ocupados y de ser un día de partido, fueron muy amables.El servicio de comida parece ser independiente del servicio de bar, podría ser mejor, pero no me puedo quejar. 10/10

No matter who you are you will enjoy the atmosphere and the delicious food. Get the wings!!!.... Now if you are a Gooner then THIS IS A MUST. Do yourself a favor and stop down.

¡No podría haber sido mejor! Visitamos en marzo desde Tampa, FL, durante un lento día de la semana (día sin partido, pero por cierto COYG), y la señora que dirige el pub fue cálida y acogedora para nosotros y nuestros hijos. Muy familiar, la cerveza y la comida eran buenas, por supuesto, pero lo que realmente lo hizo para nosotros fue la experiencia y la gran conversación. Si te encuentras en Islington o cerca de los Emiratos, te lo recomiendo. . . Definitivamente echa un vistazo!

Didn’t get tickets for the game. Went to this pub and the pre-match atmosphere was great. The game was on Sky so I got to watch it with other Arsenal fans who didn’t have tickets. We won 3-1. What more can you ask for?

Pedí una cerveza en botella y no estaba fría. . . . estaba muy caliente que tarde! Que el propietario (una mujer) no quería darme otra porque dijo la cerveza era lo suficientemente fría. . . . Obviamente no era cierto. . Ella instested. pero no quise pagar casi 5 euros por una cerveza que está caliente. Ella era muy grosero y maleducado. Eso es injusto para un cliente que quiere tener simplemente una cerveza que paga y disfrutar de algún tiempo! No me podía creer que porque nunca me han tratado así. . . .

Please check your receipt as my card was overcharged here. I only became aware when the charge appeared on my bank statement. I do hope it was a genuine mistake but cannot be sure.

Fantastic atmosphere for watch football, especially if you support The Arsenal! Many seating areas (indoors and out), selection of draft and bottled beers and ales. (Plus full bar.) Extensive Thai menu along with an "alternative dishes" selection which is more or else British staples. Food was quite good and served with generous portions. Friendly, welcoming staff. If you love the Arsenal this is a must visit.

Ett föredöme bland supporter-pubar. Hit går man som Arsenal-supporter både före och efter matchen. Tollington ligger bara 6-7 minuters promenad från Emirates Stadium. På matchdagar måste man ha medlemskort/biljett för att komma in. 18-års åldersgräns. Stort ölutbud. Snabb och trevlig personal. Fräscha toaletter. Även stor uteservering när vädret tillåter. Stort öl-utbud. Mycket trevlig asiatisk meny med mycket vällagade rätter. På matchdagar även hamburgare med mera mer vanlig pubmat.

Bright, clean pub - good for a few pints, and steeped in gooner regalia. Friendly staff. Nice local.

A brilliant pub to go before Arsenal games (you will need a match day home ticket to get in), even though the pub seems overcrowded the staff are very friendly and serve very quickly at the bar.

Stopped in for a friday night meal while staying locally. Had the pad thai which i would recommend. Lovely fresh thai food made on the premises. Went well with the pint of cider. Lovely atmosphere, football on tv. Will be back.

Stopped in to watch the match as it is a great Arsenal Pub. Great selection of beers and for food you can order Thai. Had the fried rice with shrimp and chicken - it was very good.

Great pub, with friendly staff and a good selection of drinks. The Thai food is very well made and very reasonably priced. Shows all the football aswell which is a huge plus.

Nous y sommes allé avant de se rendre au stade pour un match avec un coup d'envoi à 12h30. Nous y étions vers 10h30 l'endroit commençait gentiment à se remplir, il n'y avait plus de place assise. L'ambiance est bon enfant et ils ont un vaste choix de bière pression à un tarif très abordable! Je recommande cet endroit.

El pub es un par de cientos de metros del estadio Emirates, así que no es un lugar para una bebida tranquila en un día sábado o cualquier partido. Así que cualquiera que esté buscando una tranquila bebida este fin debe tener eso en cuenta. Siempre estaba lleno incluso cuando la baja no es.

La hamburguesa era bastante promedio, la carne era directamente del supermercado y era mucho más pequeña que la circunferencia que era también un pan directamente en el supermercado.

As a massive Arsenal fan, I cherish each and every visit to London for a match. The Tolly is absolutely one of my go-to pubs on matchdays, or really any day. The pub is very close to Emirates Stadium and certainly makes all of the gooners feel at home. The drinks are reasonably priced, the service is great, and they've got an outdoor patio which is fantastic to sit out on when it's sunny.

Is a decent pub, for watch sport and enjoy some beer. If you are hungry... we dont suggest to try the Thai Food. We been here on Monday evening, not busy time, mayby for this the food wasnt great, at all. We order a starter sharing, a really miserable plate, with a couple of frozen sping rolls and samosa. There where two ribs as well.... Cold and literally only bones. The noodles were not to bad, big portion and tasty. But overcooked and with chicken (or turkey, not sire cos the taste was strange...) even if in the menu there was no meat! Low price in general, but not for the sharing cos was really ridiculous size. We will come back but for sure never eat again.

På matchdagar släpps bara hemmafans in i lokalen. Fräscha toaletter. Bra meny med vanliga brittiska rätter plus riktigt god och bra asiatisk mat. Rekommenderas!

Great atmosphere and cheery staff, well worth a shout but a bit pricey. All nice to experience a pint in a Gunners pub will the other lot are having a hard time.

Great pics match atmosphere. Great outside on terrace. Plenty of TVs showing sports channels. Great was to start a match day. Thai Food is also not bad too.

I have been visiting this pub, located about 5 mins brisk walk away from the Emirates stadium, for the last 4 years. The best place to start to get ready for the match and have a celebratory or commiserating pint or 2.You'll sometimes need your ticket for entry on match days, and not suitable for children on match days either. On match days this place will be packed, but absolutely buzzing!

The Tolly is just around the corner from the Emirates Stadium and on Arsenal match days it's packed with noisy football fans. Great if you're a Gooner, but hell if you're looking for a quite drink with your other half or for a family pub. Don't expect restaurant service on Arsenal days.Staff are quick but necessarily seem a little abrupt as they struggle to serve everyone, so if you'r a sensitive type, don't go here. In fact don't go in any pub in the area on match day, because they are all pretty similar before and after the game.Otherwise it's just an average pub and fairly quiet on days when there's no football but there is a good selection of beers.

Good for pre match drinks if you're an Arsenal fan. Very busy on match days. Only time I've attended.

Got here at 1455 and almost missed lunch, but was assisted by the very nice barkeep helped us order just in time. The Greene King IPA and the Pad Tai with chicken were a perfect match. Reasonably priced and a great selection of beers on tap.

I like going to the Tollington on match days, i like joining in the singing, there are some real cool dudes in there, the Mertersacker dance as seen on you tube goes down well with the regulars, some of the hardcore Arsenals fans drink in the Tollington, a Spud ( Spurs ) fan would not dare to step in here on a match day, i have a ARSENE WENGER tattoo and so many people ask to see it , i met my partner in the Tollington and we hope to tie the knot later in the year , where we hope to throw a big party in the Tollington , we will get married in our Arsenal kits , Gunners fans are welcome to attend ,

My husband and I were here on March 2nd prior to seeing the Arsenal vs Swansea City match at Emirates. This place is a great atmosphere for Arsenal fans. You must show that you have tickets to the match and are Arsenal supporters to get in to the pub. Drinks and food are reasonably priced and the Thai food was delicious, probably the best that we have ever had. If you are an Arsenal fan, this place is a must!

Dont think i have ever been in a pub with so many skinny jean, bearded, wannabee, Johnny come lately tools in my life. So many real Arsenal pubs in the area, with character and history, don't opt for the plastic version.

Close to the stadium, good food, filled with fans. Supporters of other teams not allowed so if you are a gunner fan it's a great place before and after the game

went back there a few weeks back and had a great time the staff were 1st class and security top notch its also worth a visit when Arsenal are playing at home I will 100% go back when next in london

If you are an Arsenal supporter and hold a season ticket the security personnel will agree to let you in.The place is packed to the maximum on match days. I must admit, It is not my cup of tea to be in a smoke full of pub that people are treated as sardines....Not recommended if you have your kids with you,AB

Really great value for money authentic Thai food, fabulous selection of beers, wine, and spirits, and service that isn't bettered in North London. Convivial? Oh yes.

I've been to the pub many times - I support Arsenal so come here pre and post game and the service is great, it does get very busy but you do not have to stand around for ages waiting to get served. There is security so the place is safe and usually always a good atmosphere.On a non match day, it's equally a nice pub, you can have a quiet drink alone, with friends or a partner. They do a lovely Thai menu which cost wise is reasonable and has a quick turnover time.The staff are friendly and have sky / bt for all sporting events and multiple TVs.Children allowed until 7pm I think on non match days.Can't recommend this pub enough!

when I was there it was very busy but great atmosphere and real friendly also great for arsenal games even the doorstaff was good at there job

I've been here several times for pre Arsenal games drinks, great atmosphere all round, get's very busy on match days but even when it's very busy you do get saved very quickly. Great place to mix with fellow Arsenal supporters before games. There is a lot for security on math days in case of trouble. So you feel safe.

I don't normally like Thai food... But the Pad Siyew was possibly one of the nicest meals I've ever had! Hot, fresh, clean, tasty, huge, and under £10. Definitely wish I lived closer so I could go more often.

Brilliant atmosphere, people and stuff, everyone's welcome and feels really like family.Great for Arsenal games and just for a night out.

I have been a regular of the tollington for about 4 years now. Even part of the group that takes the 'Tollington Gooners' flag around Europe. Amazing pub, great atmosphere. If you are a smoker then the outside is all heated all year round. Pub staff are amazing and you know exactly where you stand with them.

Wicked pub wicked atmosphere, the only pub to go to before the game! Watched the FA cup final here last year and was buzzing, going to watch this years FA cup final there too! ARSENAL ARSENAL ARSENAL!!!

The atmosphere before, after and during games is exceptional. When there is no football it is a pleasant pub tgatbis quite bright and spacious with nice outdoor seating amd good food (both pub grub and home-cooked Thai).For the best experience ut has to be during an Arsenal away game

We have been here a few times with my daughter who lives nearby.......great just for a drink....big bar area,with TV's if you want them. Nice area to sit and eat. Very good range of Thai food with some English dishes too. I have always had Thai....starters and main courses.....beautifully cooked nicely served not too expensive ,especially as its London. Nice area to sit outside,weather permitting ! Sure we will be going again .

We came here before attending the Arsenal game against Crystal Palace last weekend. We've had lunch, menu 2: Stirr fry vegetables with chicken and some beers. For a normal bar the food was pretty good. Service was quite ok, waitresses were nice although we were a large group. They told us we could pick up our food in 15 minutes but after only 5 minutes our food arrived. Never been served so quickly.

Iv been a regular of the Tollington for over 3 years now. It's a lovely pub with plenty of atmosphere. It's an Arsenal pub but only when arsenal are playing. Food is great and the bar staff are excellent. Defiantly recommend it for a quiet drink during the week or a session on a Friday night!
