We came for dinner on Saturday. The service was good. I had the Thai green curry with rice - this was nice but the portion of curry was so small, and far more rice than curry. I was still hungry after. My partner got the Pad Thai which he was disappointed with as it was bland. Apart from the service and the place, this was disappointing

Not great. The food didn’t taste like authentic Thai food as they claim. I lived in Thailand so I’m very familiar with how it’s supposed to taste. The papaya salad was a bit bland - not enough fish sauce or sweetness, and didn’t seem pounded together as it’s supposed to be. It had cashews instead of peanuts. It also had big pieces of romaine lettuce, which don’t really belong in this dish. The green curry was okay, pretty average. Fresh spring rolls had extremely thick wrappers that tasted very undercooked and hard to chew through.

Service was excellent, food was delicious and came out in great time pre our theatre trip to the Almeida round the corner

Staff were super friendly , unfortunately the food did not match that quality, some dishes good but others poor.

Once a nice restaurant. Has now deteriorated to a Deliveroo windtunnel, door flung open by delivery guys about every minute, & gets held open. So it's freezing, definitely an unpleasant place to eat. Food cooked too fast, meat very tough. One dish forgotten entirely. I know these changes reflect business realities, but facts are facts.

This is now the only Thai I go to in London. There thai green curry with Tofu & the Crispy Gyoza is honestly next level! I always feel better after eating here. It’s healing food. Rose & Ake will take the best care of you too with incredible passion and smile. Thank you Guys. Harry 🙏🏼✨

Got the tom yum noodle soup which was delicious. They also had a really good value lunch and dinner menu, which included a starter and a main for £15, a good option if you want something like pad Thai or green curry. The staff were really happy and friendly, the food arrived quickly even tho there were several other tables. Would recommend for anyone after a quick lunch or dinner

Wanted to leave a good review after visiting twice with different people and all have enjoyed it. The service is friendly and they have a good vegan menu (lots of noodles, pad Thai and stir fry). Last time i got hot and sour soup and tofu red curry and my Dad had Pad See Ew which he liked a lot. My friend this time got massaman and really liked it and I had the aubergine and basil which we both agreed was so good! My only small thing would be that the curry pastes have fish sauce so wouldn't be vegan/veggie but the other options are great still. And that both times it's been quite quiet in terms of customers - so I hope by giving a good review more people will visit and it'll be more buzzing. The prices are good for specialty cuisine and you can certainly feed two or three people well by sharing, good alcohol selection and alcohol free selection too. All in all a really nice vibe, and would also order for delivery if I wanted good authentic Thai rather than a chain

Lovely food but it closes early, wish it was open until Midnight. You'd think you'd be able to order for delivery up until 23:30, 7 days a week! :s

Delectable food and drink! We were served in a timely manner by the warm and welcoming staff, the staff helped us choose the best options, and even gave us some free snacks! The quality of food was amazing, with everything being fresh and warm. The pad thai was perfectly portioned and cooked, same goes for the other dishes we ordered. Overall, we paid around £50+ for 3 people, we will definitely be returning soon!

We had a great lunch here. Beef & pork kebabs with tzasiki and pitta bread, and some hot chili's to give it a kick. When we asked for the bill they gave us a free dessert, cake with yoghurt and honey, which was a very nice gesture

It appears that this Taverna owns its immediate “rivals”. Really tasty food at great prices although the presentation is very basic. Imagine Wetherspoons but tastier. The staff are really friendly though. A great place to eat if you’re on a budget and don’t expect any frills.

Cosy, low maintenance, family run place. Felt really comfortable eating here. Service was top notch, very attentive, quick, and very nice people. I ordered the drunken noodles with tofu and felt it was quite authentic. I enjoy spicy foods and this dish definitely packed a punch. It was a bit pricy for what it was but would still come back to try more on the menu.

A lovely Thai restaurant. Clean inside, nicely decorated. Seating is ample and not too close together. Wash room facilities downstairs. Not wheelchair friendly. The menu is extensive and reasonably priced. Food is prepared quickly. The flavours are tasty. No booking required. They provide a take away service too. Well recommended restaurant. Do try it!

We went as part of a trip. You got free gyros as part of the excursion, but were told it was to takeaway unless you ordered a drink…fair enough. All the tables were empty, so we got the gyros when a man came up and barked at us that we couldn’t sit down as it was takeaway - we explained we were going to order drinks, and he just threw his hands up and walked off! Then a woman came, took the order without speaking, and also walked off! Food was nice enough, but their attitude was appalling

Eaten from Rabieng a few times and the food is always nice and has a home cooked taste. I especially recommend the Pineapple rice which comes with prawns and cashews. I opt for collection and the portions is a good size and very filling 👍🏽

Excellent Thai food for both takeaway and dine-in. Drunken noodles are always our favourite but the curries, laksa, and starters have also been great.

Called in here this week whilst in the local Premier Inn. I've got to admit Thai food is not my favourite, but thought we'd give it a try as seemed a nice place. The staff were really friendly, and helped us to choose some nice dishes. The portion sizes were very generous, and you wouldn't go hungry here. I noticed the pricing was cheaper than a couple of other local restaurants we ate in locally on upper street Islington. All in all a good meal and good prices, highly recommended.

The food here was incredible and efficient service. Not the relaxed atmosphere as described, was a little more sit-down, dinner-y ambiance, and corresponding prices but food was worth it.

Delicious gyros for 2.8€ were prepared for us for 10 seconds each. It was incredibly meaty and delicious, I'm glad I looked into this place, it is located on the street almost on the corner of the building

Not reliable when ordering via deliveroo. Constantly forgets items. Tonight the jasmine rice was missing, so we’re having curry with no rice. Deliveroo only credits the missing item instead of contacting the restaurant and instruct them to ship the missing item. Just bad service.

Delicious and cosy place. We got there as couldn't find othe options to eat, but glady surprised with the service and the quality of food. Highly recommended

Extremely tasty meals with fresh ingredients

We just received our order and it all went straight to the bin. Rice was over cooked and greasy, chicken satay inedible, curry too thin. You can see at the photos how everything is covered in oil. We usually order from Rosa’s Thai Cafe but this time wanted to try a different delivery. Big mistake.

TERRIBLE. We have been here a couple of times and have previously enjoyed. However, after the experience we had this evening we will never return. No Covid regulations were checked (no temp check, track and trace etc). We were placed at the most awful table in the restaurant, right next to the staff desk where 6 of them congregated and proceeded to talk amongst themselves whilst standing over our table on top of us with no social distancing. Their entire focus was distributing food to the bar next door, which took priority over their actual customers! This created a Piccadilly Circus effect with bar staff coming in and out on top of our table! We couldn’t hear ourselves speak. The food was not spectacular either. After we complained, the waitress gave us our bill and claimed they’d “taken off the service charge” to compensate - as we have visited before we know for a fact there is no service charge on the bill anyway, so you were acting like you did us a favour but in fact you were LYING. Well done Rabieng, you’ve ruined what was meant to be a special occasion and lost a loyal customer. £120 quid for a dingy little restaurant! Will go to Thai Square instead!

Edit N.2 We visited Rabieng for the third time and - as always - had a spotless experience! Staff was so incredibly welcoming, making us feel at home! Just felt a need to update this review to say that, once we finished our dinner, staff also gave us a stunning pair of hand-made wooden Thai chopsticks! So lovely of them! 💕I cannot recommend this restaurant more! ------ We visited for a lovely and warm Thai meal on a Monday night, around Christmas time. We had a fabulous experience from start to end and I would recommending stopping by when around Angel! Staff was absolutely gorgeous - smiling, kind, attentive! Food was a dream! We ordered some vegetable tempura, some crispy duck with pancakes, noodles and a lovely chicken curry! All dishes were nicely prepared & presented and portions massive! We enjoyed every taste of the food we had and left the restaurant with our belly full and a wonderful smile on our faces! 😊 The atmosphere was so cosy - we almost felt we were having a family dinner! Totally recommended and we'll be back very soon!

Go to spot for takeaway/delivery. Great thai in the heart of angel. Really fast service - have had a number of dishes and always a crowd pleaser when ordering with friends. Favorites include the Pad Cashew Nut, Green curry, and veggie spring rolls.

Got takeaway from Rabieng. Very happy with the flavours. The ladies were accommodating. Took my requests with smiling faces and processed my order accordingly. Mind you, this doesn’t happen quite often. I definitely and wholeheartedly recommend this place to people who want to enjoy good Thai food in London. Authentic flavours.
