Friendly customer service, delicious food, affordable prices, community spirit. I always leave content! I would recommend either lamb, veg patties, stew chicken or veg soup.

Popped in for a bit of lunch and I was greeted by a Lady who was so helpful and pleasant it made my day..the food was superb I had the beef stew potatoes and salad. I'm working here for a week and really looking forward to trying the rest of the menu

I have been to this eatery 4 times now. In my opinion it is the best WI takeaway I have ever been too. The food proptions are more than enough and the food is very tatsy. The ladies behind the counter a very friendly and never flap even when they have a lot of cousomers to sever. And most of all it is VFM. I would like to say that I have driven 40 miles for the food but that is not the case but it is always on my radar when i am in the area. When they say it is like mothers cooking, this is the closest I can get

Great variety of food , tasty and seasoned. Their patties are lovely, I also like to have dumplings with a serving of ackee and saltfish...Yum! My only gripe is the slow service which often results in long queues developing outside the shop. My suggestion would be having three staff serving and a cashier taking the money. I'm sure that the queues would move quicker this way.

Sometimes the queue may be a bit long. but the feelings and taste on your taste buds eating there many dishes always makes the wait worth it. home made Jamaican style patties are a must. Fantastic.

Was on way home to Surrey after visiting Friends on the Canal & saw this restaurant. Best choice I have ever made. Plenty of staff to cater for the long queue of customers and the portions in relation to prices are excellent. That's how you compete against other chains / franchises.

Authentic Jamaican food!!!! Wide variety. Been going her since I was a child. Patties are definitely recommended

I am from Leeds and west Indian food is in my blood. I knew as soon as I walked in, four wonderful women making what they make at home for the masses. I had oxtail and my wife had jerk chicken in jerk sauce. The oxtail was amazing, the heat was perfect. Jerk chicken can be dry but this was juicy and simply perfect. We also had 2 patties, beef and salt fish. Up north they seem to be shop bought no love and soul in them. These where home made pockets of delight. my wife hates salt fish but she loved the salt fish pattie. I highly recommend this place for a serious munch. PS crazy potions too!! Peace and love.

long queues are often bad, but in this instance they are good as they symbolise how tasty the food is. had probably the best lamb stew i've ever had in my life today. will definitely be back!

Really popular, people are stopping past here all day. They rotate their specials, great stews and soups, rice and peas, patties etc Definite one of the better outfits in London Their scotch bonnet sauce is nice too Definitely go there

it may not look like much and the queue of locals can be really long! BUT, this is really good simple Caribbean food. I always go for the jerk chicken with rice and peas. Some people have commented it's a bit salty, but in my opinion the sauce is amazing. If you want a quick meal for take-away this is a good little spot.

Grew up with curry goat, oxtail, plantain, patties (and souse) - tried the rice and peas with a combo of oxtail and goat (extra sauce on the rice) with a salt fish patty (they have an amazing selection baked on premises!). This brought a wonderful warm West Indian breeze on a cold London winter night! It is the best I have had in London (off to Brixton in 2015) not Alberts Real Jamaica but still very good (I am told the ackee is great - next visit)! The patties are exceptional - if in the area its a must stop just for a patty snack.
