We had a lovely experience. Jose was very welcoming. Unfortunately it was very quiet and rarely open but he will do anything for you and the food was very tasty.

We had a friend from Canada who had hearing aids and we found it a bit on the noisy side but I think that is probably the size and type of building. The food was excellent and served in a timely manner without rushing us or leaving us waiting. The staff were both efficient and friendly and we had a most enjoyable meal.

I visited here with a pay on a Thursday evening. We'd been there before and thought we knew what to expect, but we were wrong. Instead of the what we assumed was a live band from what was advertised outside, It was a guy with disco decks, who clearly didn't know that he was in a place called "soft Rock", because he persisted in playing very loud "heavy meatal/thrash". he didn't look up at all to get any reaction from the customers, just continued doing his own thing. the floor and bar were wet with spilled drinks. Service was reasonably quick, but the staff seemed preoccupied. The were 2 guys at the far end of the bar that seems to be negotiating a transaction. Highly disappointed, we finished our drinks and left, possibly never to return.

I'm not one to write a review especially a negative one but if this review stops someone wasting their time and money like I did then it's worth it. Literally the worst dining experience I've ever had. First things first the kitchen needs a door adding to stop the sounds of the chefs/kitchen staff swearing and chilling on their phones texting. Not one member of staff in a uniform??? Not sure if this is a super chilled vibe but looks scruffy in my opinion. Asked for a mojito as all the reviews raved about the cocktails... the girl standing in for the night didn't know how to make one and forgot the alcohol and sugar in it. As we was ordering another two tables was complaining about the food and their experiences. Our thoughts was maybe fussy customers.. we was wrong. Food was poor and over priced. Staff walked around complaining how bad it was to work their. Saying they was going to be leaving after the weekend. Too top it off as we was starting to eat our meal at 8:45pm we was the only ones in the restaurant, all the staff was sat on the tables next to us with their coats on and on their phones waiting for us too finish to lock up. One staff member was more or less sweeping under our feet whilst we was eating, was very unwelcoming and off putting we left half our meal and went. Honestly do not waste your money, not sure if it's been taken over by new management but there is no love or care in this business whats so ever. The atmosphere and lack of professionalism was shocking!

We visited on a Saturday morning, early on at 9:30-10 am. We sat down and a waitress came over with menus. After a short wait, our drink and food order was taken by the most miserable server I think I have ever encountered. No smiles, no politeness, nothing. I began to notice around me that people seem to be waiting quite a long time for food. Our drinks took at least 20 minutes to arrive. At least another 20-30 minutes for the food to arrive in fact we had finished our drinks by the time the food was dumped on the table. The bacon, with my “American Pancakes” (though nice were the smallest American pancakes I had ever seen. More like scotch pancakes!) was cremated. You couldn’t even break it in half. This was not well done American streaky bacon, crispy and salty. This was bog standard back bacon cremated to oblivion. I advised once the plate had been served that I would not be eating the bacon. I was offered replacement. no apology, nothing. I accepted the offer. My husband at this point asked for butter for his toast. No problem yes I will get you some butter. … We finished our meal, still no butter and no replacement bacon. Three other people had begun to complain about their food in surrounding tables. On clearing our plates it was pointed out that we were still waiting for the items and declined to pay for a dish that the main item was inedible. This was knocked off the bill but this could have easily been resolved with a bit of good old fashioned customer service and a simple apology. Something that seems to be seriously lacking. . £17 for a poor breakfast and two drinks, is on the steep side.
