I BOOKED ONLINE - GOT THERE AND WERE TOLD IT HAD SHUT DOWN. CANNOT SAY ANYMORE OTHER THAN THE LACK OF REVIEWS SHOULD HAVE ALERTED ME TO A PROBLEM

We went as a group of 12. The restaurant opens at 5pm, however they were more than happy to open at 2pm for our party. Individually we took advantage of the various offers: I myself did the unlimited cocktails for £24.95. My glass was never empty and I certainly had my money’s worth. Food was great, I would definitely recommend the bread. Staff were superb, very attentive and helpful. We shall certainly return in the future.

We arrived yesterday and was greeted immediately by a very pleasant and helpful waitress. She immediately took drinks orders and advised us what cocktails were good! Drinks arrived promptly and were super, these were made by the other waiter on the premises, he also arrived with a great attitude and served with a smile. We ordered a large range of food from the all you can eat menu, there were no restrictions and everything was served quickly. The food was so amazing we actually ordered a second round of food, again we ordered a large range and everything came out cooked to perfection and super tasty. As the reason for a visit was a birthday, the brought out a cake and sang happy birthday to my partner, all the waiters were involved clapping, singing and smiling. We had a brilliant evening and will definitely be returning!

Quite an odd experience really. We were the only people in the restaurant, save for one other table. The waitress that served us was very pleasant, I have no complaints about her. We ordered from the main menu rather than opting for one of the offers 'all you can eat' or '3 tapas and a cocktail', not that these were offered or discussed. The food was average, it was ok, not amazing and certainly not bad. The Spanish Omelette was really good as was the bread. The dining plates were small, extremely small (compared to other tapas venues) and I am sure that the single single ply napkin each was from the same supplier as McDonalds. The only dish that we ordered and was totally underwhelming was the Chicken Milanese, very dry and one extremely small piece of chicken, certainly not good value at £6, perhaps three of the inadequate chicken pieces would have discouraged me from pointing it out. What surprised me the most was the wine list, they had an extremely limited selection in stock.....none of them Spanish, ironic for a tapas 'restaurant', as they 'don't stock' the majority of the list. The most disappointing part of the entire experience was the bill (to an extent) but more the attitude of one of the waiters, who stank of stale cigarette smoke. He was extremely abrupt, never once asked us to order more drinks, had the absolute cheek to tell me he wanted to get the table cleared before he could get the bill and then the final insult.....told me that it would be better if we had chosen the 'all you can eat' offer next time. There won't be another time. The negatives far outweighed the few positives. Save yourself time and money and go elsewhere.

Walked in there yesterday evening and it was heaven on earth. The staff greater me warmly and sat me down at candle-lit table. Me and my significant other were astonished by the gleaming cutlery that the exceptional kitchen porter had presented before us. The plates shone with a moonlight glow and the fork shimmered like an undisturbed lake. The kitchen portered undoubtedly put his blood, sweat and tears into this as he does with all the other patrons at this establishment. He takes care with his work and treats it as a craft, a craft of which he is a master. After we partook in our meals and manners, we requested to speak to the artist of a porter who had delighted us with our plates and cutlery. When we spoke to him, he addressed us as part of the restaurant, called us Sir and Ma'am. He informed us he was called Alfred Breen but insisted we called Alfie, he treated us as equals and spoke to us with the up-most respect. He carried himself as someone who is approachable and willing to help someone out, he did not appear arrogant or narcissistic instead felt accommodating, empathetic and caring towards us and all other people within the restaurant. I'm wishing my regards reach the delightful person in question as I would like his kindness and warmness towards me and others be known by everyone as it shows there is still light in this dark world, even if it is only shown from one light.
