Good food, service was a little slow but we weren't in a hurry.

Had a family birthday meal on a Thursday night, restaurant was very busy & the 6 of us had tapas. Food was hot, well presented & tasty. Atmosphere was nice & staff were nice and friendly. I would highly recommend a visit.

We hadn't booked and the restaurant was fully precooked, but we were set up on the end of the bar which was fine. Food was excellent. Staff were so helpful and friendly.

Attended as a party of 3 on a Thursday evening, hadn't booked as we thought it would be fairly quiet. It was actually really busy and I assumed we would be turned away. Manager and staff went completely out of their way to juggle bookings and tables to fit us in as we got a drink at the bar. How many places would have just said, no sorry. We expected a fairly long wait for food given how busy it was, but staff were incredibly attentive and hard working. Order was taken within about 10 mins and dishes started coming out about 10-15 minutes after that. We had 10 dishes between us and each one was excellent, in particular the calamari and the fillet steak. Staff also took the time to check in with us regularly, not that we had anything to complain about. Lovely venue, food excellent but it was the fabulous staff who really stood out. Bill was also very reasonable, just over 30 pounds per head including drinks. Will absolutely be back, an absolute gem of a place.

Undercooked spring rolls the three who ate them have all been sick today they was cold in the middle and sent back as practically frozen

Sat out on the pavement, in the sun, watching the world go by eating very nice food. I recommend the mini chorizo in red wine and honey!

Me and my family were served by a lovely friendly outgoing lady known T, she was very attentive, made us feel welcome, she created a comfortable atmosphere, we will definitely be going there again, lovely food

Awful. Eaten here a lot in last and really good. Ordered breads to start, didn't arrive. Wife's three plates all arrived, sent one back as burnt and cold. She ate her other two selections and received third till burnt but warm. I still hadn't received any of my selections and wife had finished all hers .they said were busy. Andy, owner has clearly lost interest in this branch of his business. Won't be going again.

Lovely night in So salsa, food lovely and so busy in there as always. Great atmosphere, big shout out to the Australian waitress. She is an assett to your team, so friendly and polite nothing is a trouble even when such a busy night. She made our experience a great one we will be back.

Visited Dad's favourite restaurant for fathers day today. As usual exeptional service and food. So Salsa never fails to impress. Tried the fillet steak for the first time today and it's now my new favourite. 😘😘😘😘

Took order over phone as we were rushed. Lively place. Good welcome. Good food. Just missing a few things and understand 3 star hygiene rating. Want to give more feedback to restaurant direct but not found out how other than in public, which I don't want to do. Not food issue just a legal issue.

Never again,49 th anniversary lunch , Greek lamb chops totally un eatable. I an 74 years of age and never complained about food in my life, rather eat and suffer than make a fuss, but what was put on my and my wise's plate was dreadful. Also was called rude bye staff for complaining . We have had several family meals here but never again

I've always gone here for meals or birthday meals, and today was my mam's birthday and everything we ordered they didn't have in and then they did being it out but we have changed the order so they took it back, a party came in half an later after us, they all got their food before us and kept us waiting and another 2 couple were getting their meals before us and they arrived after us... 45 mins for chips which were stone cold and hard... Unfortunately I won't be coming back here again just a shame. McDonald's chips looks good to eat to what we were given. At the end they charge us for the food that supposedly didn't have in and we exchanged... And the chips were free... Not surprised.

Fabulous food, great and friendly staff, Definitely worth a visit nothing too much trouble for the staff, and the food 3 enormous tapas great value.

Wow. I just ordered on Uber eats the 3 tapas for £18 deal and it was the absolute best thing I have had in ages, I understand that delivered food doesn’t taste as good as eating at the restaurant but I was so good for size and flavours.the steak fries and chicken pancakes was my favourite, I will definitely be coming into the restaurant next time to try the wonderful flavours and atmosphere. Thank you all

Absolutely excellent. We ordered about seven dishes across the menu and they were all absolutely flawless. But I think the real thing to commend them for is the service. Even on a busy Saturday night - and as one of the most popular restaurants in the area, it's busy at this time - the staff are absolutely brilliant and attentive. Been a few times now and it's remarkably consistent, too. First class.

Food was to die for. So much choice and not too expensive. Everything tasted so good. We were 4 people and we ordered 3 dishes each and just shared it. Highly recommend you get the Greek salad, the satay chicken, the calamari, the ribs, the goats cheese and finally, the mocktails are gorgeous!

Probably our favourite restaurant in Crosby! We've tried nearly everything in the last three visits and enjoyed it all.

I have eaten here 2 or 3 times in the last year and it never fails to please. The food is very good and the service is professional and unfussy. The olives were amazing.

I booked for two was presented with a small high bar table and expected to eat there The deal was not really a deal as most dishes had a £3 supplement and we're talking tapas here So we promptly left and went to a restaurant where we were met with a better attitude and much better value for money Won't be going to so salsa again Not the place it was in the past getting too greedy in my opinion

Waited 15mins before anyone come over to take order then another 15mins for food to arrive it was a joke wouldn't recommend at all

Lovely meal. Bit of a mix up with our booking but sorted immediately. Staff really nice, every one friendly and super efficient! Food amazing - 8 tapas between 3 of us. Only just managed to finish them all!! Excellent value for money.

Went for the wife's birthday on a Saturday. Food was absolutely gorgeous - loved it. We got 7x Tapas between 3 of us - me, the wife and our 10yr old - which was just about perfect, with filled churros to finish for the kid. Was the perfect amount for us, big appetites might want to consider 1 or 2 more tapas. Joe looked after us - from calling earlier in the day to confirm our booking, to seating us and looking after us. Promoted the specials, of which we got one. He was spot on from start to finish. Our little one enjoyed a few Mocktails - super tasty. All in - was just under £70 which I consider good value for how good it was. All in all, we loved it and will be going back again soon - good job So Salsa team :-D

The best tapas we've ever had in the UK. Fantastic, tasty and you get quite a bit on each portion too. And if you go on a certain times the tapas are 3 for £18 well worth it. My compliments to the chef and the lovely waiting on people. Will be visiting again and again, etc👍😊

We were not at all happy with our very brief visit. Sunday afternoon and we were looking forward to dining here. We even knew what we wanted to have. Greeted by a young man who offered us the only available table,one that had high table and chairs. We asked if there was another available as my wife finds it difficult to climb onto these chairs due to a spinal problem, There were at least eight empty low tables. Then to add to her already building discomfort we were told in no uncertain terms that the table must be handed back at 6.30 and it was now 5.05 . Please this is supposed to be tapas,its Spanish , sit at the table and eat, talk drink, talk some more and eat some more then carry on talking.its how the Spanish relax and get together with family and friends. Change the attitude, its a well known place to eat so expect walk ins , its not in Spain obviously, but if you profess to being a Spanish inspired tapas eatery, then don't expect people to throw down food and drink, and have a little sympathy, if someone asks for something there must be a reason and nine times out of ten the reason is genuine, and lots of people like us decide to eat in a place because we read the menu in the front window ,which at that given time is the point of sale, where booking is not mentioned neither is a time limit.

I'm breastfeeding a baby with multiple allergies, and it means I need to be careful to avoid those too. Staff were friendly, helpful and accommodating - I spoke to the chef and we discussed what I could eat and some adjustments were made to the ways things were cooked / prepared. The food was delicious, and even better, my baby hasn't had a reaction, so I'm confident they did what was needed. Thank you!

I used to love everything about this restaurant. The last 3 times I've been have been awful so will not return. The previous 2 times food has been amazing but service was shocking. Last night food was awful, the waitress 'forgot' to take a drink order from 2 of our party. We were also heavily patronised by one staff member- completely unacceptable

Visited so salsa last night, been here many times and the food is nice and arrives quickly. However we always feel rushed when we come here its like they want you in and out. Staff are very friendly and work hard but continually taking your glasses and plates away. It is very annoying and spoils the experience. They constantly come over a bit too much and diffeerent staff. Wont be rushing back. Its a shame as food and location so nice.

So Salsa has such a great menu full of tasty choices, both there tapas dishes and there deserts are just wonderful! The cocktails are beyond tasty also! Deffo worth a visit.
