Travelled by the Jacobite Express Train to Mallaig. Had a short stopover during which we enjoyed an hour long cruise from the port. We returned to the town to reboard the train for the return journey, stopping off at this delightful little deli and takeaway where I ordered a portion of homemade Cullen Skink soup. Absolutely delicious! Obviously made with premium ingredients and definately the best I have ever eaten Deli was very clean and well organised with a more than adequate menu. The seafood display looked fresh and the menu offered a good variety of food to eat in or takeaway. The two ladies who were serving (one of whom made the Cullen Skink) were pleasant and friendly. The soup, served with a bread roll and butter was served very hot, was a generous portion and was worth every penny of the £9.50 cost So pleased to find this little gem and hope to return at some time.

Tonight we both had soup, 1x cullen skink and 1x soup of the day. Both were absolutely delicious, but they could have been hotter. The macaroni cheese was OK, but severely lacking in cheese and a bit bland. The chips were OK, just OK. The staff were helpful and lovely, but when they ask how was it and you say 'just ok' , they smile politely but font really want to know. Overall, maybe 7/10

Ibamos un poco perdidos, ya que es un lugar de mucha concentración turística. Y llegamos en hora punta de las comidas. La verdad que fue una buena opción para ir con niños. El Fish and chips y diferentes variedades. Tienen mesas en un piso superior. Las sopas muy ricas.
