IM 52 AND THIS IS BY FAR THE WORST PLACE I HAVE EVER EATEN OUT OF. I WOULDN'T EVEN CALL IT A RESTAURANT THE FOOD IS GHASTLY. FOOD COMES OUT ALMOST COLD. THE SCAMPI WAS INCREDIBLY BAD THE WORST IV EVER EATEN. WHEN YOU BIT INTO IT WAS AND EXPLOSION OF WATER AND COOKING OIL IN YOUR MOUTH IT WAS HORRENDOUS. HOW ANY ONE CAN CALL THEMSELVES A CHEF SERVING THAT GARBAGE I WILL NEVER KNOW. EVERYONE ELSE AT THE TABLE THOUGHT THERE FOOD WAS DISGUSTING. I GIVE IT A 0 OUT OF 10 AND TRUST ME IM BEING GENEROUS. WONT BE BACK NEAR IT.

The best seafood chowder I have ever tasted and the gossamer battered scampi is glorious Simply the best ever. Well done 👋

Good food and friendly helpful staff

Last evening I had the pleasure of going along to this wonderful little restaurant for a hands on cookery class. From the minute I enquired about it to leaving with my not one, but two batches of cinnamon buns (sweet and savoury) it was superb service.Chef Joni made each and everyone welcome, lovely wine on the house and his teaching and helpfulness were second to none. My efforts would not compare to his but everyone was praised. He got a well deserved round of 👏 ! Next month is a pasta class and I have already my name down for it. I went this morning to buy some fresh bread from the bistro and both Joni and Erica were there welcoming folk. Service such as this is long hours of hard work and they rightly deserve any support they get. I whole heartedly recommend this Bistro to anyone.

Their lobster special was unreal!

Solo light lunch with no booking, they fitted me in no drama. Prompt and friendly service. 3 oysters with different dressing - excellent to stunning. Followed by the goan curry prawns with wheaten bread, absolutely superb. Lovely house wine too and great company chatting to old Jim dining solo next to me.

Best chippy in the town. The food is fantastic. It's always my go-to chippy.

Had lunch at Doc's with my Wife and her friend. We all had fish and chips, the girls had small portions, I went for the large portion. The food was delicious, the three of us really enjoyed our meal. We didn't have long to wait for a table, it's a very busy restaurant. The service was quick, the staff were friendly, professional and helpful. There was a lovely atmosphere, the restaurant itself is well presented and clean. We had a great lunch and looking forward to returning. Thank you for a great experience.

Stopped at John Long’s Fish and Chips on route to catch the airport bus from Grand Central Station - am so pleased we did. We had a fish and chip supper - the fish fillet was thick and flaky and the batter was light and crisp. Highly recommend.

Delicious simple food helpful friendly staff

Qué joya es este lugar. Lo eligieron porque tienen ostras crudas. Eran locales y absolutamente deliciosos. Seguido con un cubo de mejillones suaves y sabrosos en una salsa de curry suave - maravilloso! El pudín de toffee pegajoso terminó con una excelente comida. El ambiente es agradable y relajado. El personal era genial, y había un montón de clientes repetidos. ¡Merecen 5 estrellas!
