The best restaurants serving Seafood food in Yorkshire and The Humber

it was delayed leaving restaraunt and was in the delivery car for well over 20 mins. I know this because I watched the tracker.

I love this place to bits, everything is made fresh as soon as you order it, you end up waiting longer but its well worth it to get a fish and chips that's made right in front of you or a pizza made fresh from base. I can't think of another chippy that has that level of quality. No messing around with yesterdays leftovers or frozen garbage, it's all fresh and delicious. Don't miss out.

I placed an order at 11.40, was advised expected delivery around 12.30, this time kept getting extended until around 14.00. I rang and cancelled with apologies to seven seas who were very understanding. The order is now showing as delivered ?

Not the cheapest in town, but great food and dog friendly. We had the Special for £18 each which was for Haddock, chips, mushy peas, bread and butter and a pot of tea each. Ample portion size for us (some will complain about not enough chips - we heard a couple - but honestly, there are enough!) and the fish was lovely and moist with crispy batter. Staff were excellent and helpful, moving chairs or off the way for my wheelchair. Would definitely go again, but if the owners or managers read this, you really need a threshold ramp (cheap to buy and store anyone making a discrimination claim against you).

Called in to Mr Chippy before heading home to Scarborough.The staff were lovely.We all had chips some with gravy and a battered jumbo sausage.I had chips ,battered jumbo sausage with scraps and curry with a wooden fork and we all ate them leaning on the 'bar' people watching out the window.The chips were definitely some of the best chippy chips I have ever had.Big lov e to the fish frier who is originally from Scarborough.Top scran

Tenía patatas fritas, pescado y patatas fritas, salchicha rebozada y un pescado. Las señoras eran muy amables y dieron patatas fritas en la salchicha y el pescado a pesar de que no lo pedimos o pagamos por ellos. Comida encantadora, fresca y caliente. Incluso les dieron a los niños algunos bollos caseros, de nuevo gratis. Pequeña tienda de pescado amigable:) ¡Volveremos otra vez!

All the 5 star reviews are very misleading, lucky to give 1 star,I travel up and down the country and this is one of the worst.My co-driver R.Wood agrees 100%.

There is currently a review popping up saying the diner is closed which Is not the case. The diner is very much open serving a selection of yummy food and drinks.

Acabamos de probar este lugar después de Yorkshire Wildlife Park para tener desierto para el cumpleaños de nuestro hijo. No podrían haber sido más amables con traer un pastel gratis para nuestro hijo, jugando feliz cumpleaños en el altavoz y destellos. Nos sentimos muy atendidos y apreciamos mucho su cuidado. Realmente nos sorprendió la atención tan amable. Todos terminamos con abrazos al final y la promesa de volver en verano. Muchas gracias a todos ustedes, especialmente Nico!

Despite it being a chaotic Bank Holiday weekend we were quickly seated and served by friendly conscientious staff. Given how busy they were the food was very good. My family enjoyed the restaurant and we shall return.

Mister Chips is one of the best chippies I've found in the UK so far. Top notch!

It's a shame about the original Bob Carver's. It just needs doing up exactly like it. Then reopening again. But the patties from the other one are lovely. Batter and breaded.
