The best restaurants serving Seafood food in South Somerset South West

Brilliant chippy, has been for years. Huge portion sizes always hot food and delicious. 5 star chippy this one. Lots of choices on the menu, polite and warming staff

Have to put 5/5 because 10/10 wasn’t an option which it absolutely deserves. Great food at a fair price and even better customer service

Only call in when travelling to Chard, always make detour to get my fish and chips here. The batter and fish is the best I have ever had, from Blackpool, Yorkshire, all over UK. Best wishes.

Not nice whatsoever,very ignorant and rude staff,cod and chips way over priced and cooked dry,most likely recooked from the night before..I ended up giving it to the seagulls in the back garden.

Nice enough - husband really liked, I was less enamoured. Can't complain about portion size, if anything far too generous. Shop could do with looking a bit nicer (do you want to eat food from somewhere which, in the public areas, has gaffer tape on the benches and posters/cards for events that happened months ago?) I'd visit again, but only if I was hungry/it was raining heavily and didn't fancy walking a bit further from home.

we use to love coming here for the quality food and friendly service but sadly those two things are vert hit & miss these days. well a lot more miss :(
