The best restaurants serving Seafood food in South Hams South West

We stayed in Kingsbridge for a few days and this was by far the best food and drink venue we visited. Awesome home brewed meads and the food was sooooo flavoursome. Thanks so much guys.

Delicious lunch here with my toddler and fiancé. Potted crab was so delicious as was the fish and chips and the server was lovely and very attentive especially with our little boy

Absolutely wonderful. Delicious food. Friendly, happy staff. We didn't book as online looked available, but when we arrived it was very busy. However, we were lucky to get the window seat. It was magical as it got dark, to watch all the lights on the water and the opposite shore. There was a great choice of fresh caught fish. We went for the excellent value set menu. The chowder was delicious, and the fish and chips cooked to perfection. We weren't rushed and had a lovely, relaxed meal. And the bonus on top, two sprats for our dog! We loved it. Shame we're not local to visit again. Thank you for such an enjoyable experience.

Next time we are in Dartmouth we will be there for a crab sandwich, they are the best in the area! Lovely to meet Richard & Judy

When in Dartmouth for a few days holiday and to celebrate my birthday, my wife and I decided to dine here on the big day itself. We were not disappointed. You can get meat dishes here, but as the restaurant name implies, seafood is what this restaurant is really about. Delivering a mixed range of delicious dishes using the freshest product from the sea is what The Seahorse excels at. The restaurant itself reminded us of a classic French bistro. Fish is not a cheap ingredient. So expect to pay a fair price for a top quality product. My cuttlefish starter was delicious. We both had monkfish for the main dish. The sauce in particular stood out for its great flavour and spicey kick. All in all, a memorable dining experience.

Amazing sea food with a great combination of flavours. Everything was cooked perfectly and we loved the truffle slaw. Monkfish was delicious. Love that it’s dog friendly too. Was looking forward to the marmalade pudding after seeing some reviews, but it was just a normal steamed pudding really, but still tasty.

Fantastic dinner here. The food was amazing and the service friendly. We thoroughly enjoyed our birthday dinner here. The waitress was brilliant. The atmosphere was relaxed. There were plenty of options for vegetarian or vegan alternatives.

Very nice - quite amusing how everyone waits in the street for orders to come out. really nice food. Four of us ate 3 cod and two large portions of chips.

I have visited Dayer's on a number of occassions over many years. Always impressed with the quality of food and service.The restaurant is situated in the middle of a business park and it caters mainly for local office workers. The lunchtime menu is similar to that you will find in a good pub. Service is quick and efficient.We visited the restaurant on Friday lunchtime. The restaurant was packed with almost every table taken. Avoid the Cajun Chicken Sizzler. The fries accompanying the dish were amazing but the rest failed at every level from concept to execution. Other dishes met our expectations and we would definitely return.If the chef or owners are reading this review, please add more vegetarian options on the menu.

This cafe is overpriced, dry food and rude staff. Will never eat anything here again. Would not reccomend don’t waste your time or money.
