Really excellent fish and chips: fresh and well cooked. Perfect for eating in the park after a walk along the towpath from Hertford.

Ordered a delivery of kebab, chicken wings and cod with chips. Unfortunately My cod was soggy. Like wet bread. The bottom had all fallen apart. I phoned up and spoke to the chef. He was rude, patronising and didn’t want to admit he had given me a badly cooked piece of fish. Mistakes can happen, but when they refuse to be taken seriously, the business and other prospective customers should know. No compensation, no respect. They’ve lost a customer here.

I only had chips, and they were lovely. Friendly staff and quick service. Will be using them again.

The food was ridiculously oily, small portions for the price and some of the fish looked like they were refried leftovers making them extremely hard and dry. Had to throw away as they're a choking hazard for a small child. Would never return.

My husband & I had fish & chips today at lunch time it was amazing cooked to perfection and tasty We had medium cod and chips and there was plenty of fish and just the right amount of batter & worth the wait for it to be cooked fresh

I purchased 1 x medium cod , 1 portion chicken nuggets and 1 x sausage in batter. Only 1 large chips to share and curry sauce and mushy peas . £29 later ….OMG what a rip off!!
