Visited this evening with my 5 year old for a treat and can certainly recommend. The food was great and the service was absolutely fantastic. Such friendly and helpful staff I can’t praise them enough. Will definitely be going again.

I went to Glossop Fish Bar recently for an evening treat and I had a wonderful chat with the owners and their story. Beautifully humble and the food matched the welcome. I don't want to go anywhere else for Fish and Chips on a Friday evening!

Went in a while ago and it was spot on. This time however, different story.. After arriving home from the chippy in less than 10 minutes and tucking in, we found fish and chips to be less than warm, same with the mushy peas and curry sauce. Not very tasty either. Ordered a large cod but got 2 small ones. Staff were friendly but seemed a little confused as to our order. Also I'm not keen on being called 'pal' tbh. 5 of us eating and we all felt the same. Sorry but is what it is. Will try elsewhere in future.

Popped in half hour before closing and the place was spotless, guy serving was very friendly and got cooking fresh straight away. Lovely
