The best restaurants serving Portuguese food in Scotland

My first time visiting nandos and was so disappointed. While 3 of us were 1st in the queue to be seated, we were ignored while others were seated 1st. There were tables available but not used. Shocking service and will not be visiting again.

Donna was very accommodating and friendly great customer service. 10/10 the food was great and came fast would recommend and will definitely be back.

Great food and quick service! I had a small issue with one of the sides, but the manager was very prompt and helpful in resolving it, which I really appreciated. Most of the staff were lovely and attentive, but one staff member made me and my friend feel a bit uncomfortable by staring continuously. Apart from that, it was a good experience overall.

Was so upset and the manner of a particular staff member Adam, looked me and family up and down, snared at us, didn’t have a friendly approach towards us and had an attitude, I understand when staff can be under pressure in hospitality but this attitude ruined my night with my family, as a single mum with kids to support we wanted this one night to enjoy ourselves between Xmas and new year and if was so off putting and upsetting. Will not return due to this experience!

El servicio al cliente era malo, me hizo pagar mucho más de lo que se suponía que yo también, la comida también estaba seca! ¿El gerente no se comunicaría muy bien conmigo? Definitivamente no había satisfacción del cliente! Definitivamente no volveré!

Well here we go again . This time it's Nandos the home of everything chicken . Well ordered some wings and some squeaky haloumi dippers for starters and guess what the squeaky cheese arrived but no wings . Anyway the waitress brought mains which I had was whole chicken with side of coleslaw and my dinner companion had burger . I then mentioned about wings which was met with a vacant look then they arrived cold but they arrived . The chicken was really nice and my companions burger looked great however the coleslaw was a poor 1 on scale as it did have correct ingredients but very bland no seasoning .. The manager very polite gentleman did bring a couple of Portuguese tarts as a pacifier which I will have later . So all in all was not too bad a experience I would give it a 7/10

Absolutely terrible, even by a chain restaurants standards. Came in at 3.15pm and had ordered my food by 3.20pm. My halloumi fries arrived within 5 minutes but nothing else. I thought they would just be coming. Then I presumed they’d maybe arrive once we’d finished the halloumi fries, but no. Sat waiting until 3.53pm when a table that had came in half an hour after us, got their food. I asked a man wearing a purple shirt where our food was as everyone that had came in afterwards had food and we only had halloumi fries. He went to the kitchen to see where the food was and within five minutes it was out. Cold and obviously rushed. No apology or good will gesture offered. Put the food down and disappeared. Won’t ever be back. Terrible customer service.

Worst Nando’s I’ve ever been to! Half the tables were empty but they had a massive queue and 25 min wait time. They were literally out of most chicken dishes! Our food took over 30 mins to arrive and then it did my partners veg was cold. The staff were friendly and nice in fairness and did explain they were short staffed, but really wasn’t the great experience Nando’s meal we were looking forward to.
