Nando's in Renfrewshire

Was so upset and the manner of a particular staff member Adam, looked me and family up and down, snared at us, didn’t have a friendly approach towards us and had an attitude, I understand when staff can be under pressure in hospitality but this attitude ruined my night with my family, as a single mum with kids to support we wanted this one night to enjoy ourselves between Xmas and new year and if was so off putting and upsetting. Will not return due to this experience!

I went to Nando’s on Thursday the 13th of July and I received the best service I have ever had in Nando’s from the host on shift, David, he was polite, welcoming and amazing at his job, I would personally come back to this Nando’s just to be served by David again, an absolute credit to Nandos and seemed a lovely boy! Thanks again David!

We arrived at nandos and there were several empty tables but were told we had to wait half an hour! We waited and eventually got a text to say they have a table ready. Walked into this place and it was half empty. So I do not understand why we had to wait half an hour for a table!! I ordered the half chicken.I advised the staff straight after I ordered that I would like two leg pieces instead of the breast piece (which I always get from other nando branches). Two members of staff advised me this was not possible and I had to have one leg and one breast. I don’t understand why it has been possible at every other nandos I have been to but not this one? The food was ok but the service was absolutely rubbish. I think you need better staff in this place. Wont be visiting this place again.

I Arrived at the restaurant today with my son and we were warmly welcomed by Kaley . We had just came from Gravity and had a bad experience ,as my son who has autism started telling Kaley. I was trying to sort out his wifi , order the food online snd calm him down . Kaley just came over to the table and told us lunch was on her today as she could see we were a bit out of sorts ... I have never been touched by someone’s kindness as I was today , it moved me to tears. There are still some beautiful kind people in this world . What a keeper you have Nando’s Xscape . Fui aquí familia de 4 el 30 de diciembre, no me puedo quejar de la comida o el servicio de los baños, sin embargo, fueron impactantes. Si hubiera visitado las instalaciones antes de comer, probablemente habría pensado dos veces antes de comer aquí,

We love Nando’s chicken Piri piri and go here all the time . we holiday in Portugal every year and this fills the longing for piri piri so definitely recommend it

Arrived at 6.25 pm & just about to be seated by a nice young man when a rude & surly staff member runs up to our group to say “we stop serving at 6.30”. My husband replies “it’s 6.25”. Her reply: “not on my watch”. What a dreadful attitude from ‘Kt’. Your clearly in the wrong job deary!

We have recently visited Nando’s Breahead shopping center Glasgow. Food was over done and not even edible. When we complained it to the manger she came and first of all she was very rude and don’t even know how to deal with there customers. We explained to her about the quality of the food but she said she can’t do anything and every one is having the same food no one has complained us so-far. Will never go to this branch again.

we arrived at 5pm and it was very quiet,i ordered the classic chicken burger with lettuce and tomato with a side of chips..which was fine till it arrived,,the chicken itself was ok but the bun was inedable,brickhard,the chips were cold ,they forgot the tomato and my drink! went to order my husbands,a half roast chicken with a drink and a side..to be told there were no chicken on the bone left! we were too hungry to leave so he ordered the same as me with the same problems! even forgetting his drink also!! as for the price we were charged £22 for a bit of chicken each and some cold chips! shocking! for a lot less money we could went next door to prezzo, and have a lovely warm filling meal !,,so take deed everyone,,i wont be back because of the terrible food and service..didnt get any cutlery or sauces offered,,oh and the salt dish was empty too! Good luck and hope you dont get the same when you go,,,very dissappointed and wont be back!

Busy and staff were on the go. when my burger arrived the chicken was cold and had to be sent back. when it came back i had me sides finished.

Went with friend for lunch. Was good food and enjoyed the company. Not that busy being on Monday. Chicken was nice and tasty.

We booked this restaurant for a 40th birthday it was ridiculous. They were aware that there was a large party arriving. Instead of allocating one staff member to deal with us. The staff were dealing with us along with other diners, walk-ins and take aways. They were run off their feet. We had a choice of booking our meals individually thus being served them at different times or a member of the family took the order then ordered and paid for them. Which is what happened. The meal was a disaster by the time everyone was served the ones who received their meals first were halfway through theirs before the last ones were served. The individual who booked the venue and paid for the meal had a NHS discount card the discount was capped at £4.00. The food was nothing special. The manager and staff were brilliant but definitely run off their feet.

Visited Nando’s in Intu Breahead (Not Soar) and it was a little disappointing. Normally we always go to Soar for a Nando’s as so far the best for 10 miles. Tried Intu Breahead for a change. Service was 3 star. No glasses given for drinks. A trainee was being trained but not once did they smile or look enthused. Dinner arrived, got the usual, full platter with 4 sides. Chicken was ok, peas were over wet and mash was dried out. Corn on the cob was served, without butter, and was dry and burned. We would have sent it back but we had already had to get replacement plates as they were dirty with actual food encrusted on them and rough to touch. This branch needs a good kick up the bottom for cleanliness, quality and customer service. Won’t return. Everyone! Walk to Soar for a far superior experience.

Hostess seemed to have control on what was happening and kept updating us about our table, but seemed we waited longer than necessary. Shown to our table and it was sticky. Everything needed a good cleaning. Drink glasses warm, hard to find ice. Food came and dropped off. We had brought the sauces to our table ourselves. Ketchup bottle cap messy and cleaned it before using. My chicken leg looked scrawny and fries barely warm and not crisp. Mixed salad was nice but only one possible sauce could be used as dressing. Busiest place in the complex and I can’t figure out why. Doubt I would seek out the one in Chicago when in the area.

Recent visit chicken wasnt cooked the best. Chips we were given around 10 each and my boyfriend got a half portion of peas. Love nandos but this is not the best franchise

I went to Nandos on a Sunday with my family. The restaurant was not busy and the staff seemed to be walking about without doing much. There was food left for too long on the pass.

Went for a late lunch. The food was ok but the bottomless drinks were absolutely appalling. Actual dish water. I’ve had refillable drinks in the past and that wasn’t the drinks that were advertised. No fizz in any of them. proper disgusting and was charged just under £3. If I go back I would never order the drinks again

Popped in with a friend for lunch but was worried as I’m vegan and I know Nando’s don’t have a set vegan menu. The waitress helped me turn a vegetarian meal into a vegan one. She really went above and beyond looking into every tiny ingredient to make sure it was ok for me to eat, she really went above and beyond without being asked and I appreciated it so much. Brown haired girl and kind of petite, a credit to the restaurant.

My daughter's fave place. Foods great, great variety of sides, olives are on point!!! Staff always pleasant and helpful.

Nando's is consistent in its quality of food irrespective of where you visit them.

15 yr old daughters pick for a family birthday lunch and it turned out to be a great choice. Good table and seating, nice atmosphere and surprisingly good menu to choose from. Food was very good and the staff even sang to my daughter which was a special touch. Will be back

Despite it looking busy we only waited a few minutes for a booth. The food came quickly and we got what we ordered. Staff were pleasant. It always seems to be mango frozen yoghurt wherever we go!

El restaurante necesita una buena limpieza profunda que se veía muy mala calidad. En el lado positivo, la comida era buena, aunque se servían 3 comidas juntas y tuvimos que pedir la otra. Llevamos a la familia a almorzar a Nando. Fue nuestro primer día en edades. Consiguió los palos halloumi y el chapuzón. El halloumi estaba frío solo cocinado en un lado. Luego conseguí la mariposa de pollo con arroz picante y mazorca de maíz. El arroz estaba pegajoso como si hubiera sido cortado y solo estaba caliente, no caliente. El maíz estaba marrón todo el camino, así que no podía comer nada. Sólo comí el pollo. Estaba tan ocupado que intenté llamar la atención de un camarero, pero simplemente siguieron caminando. Así que si se deja muy enojado y con mucha hambre no volverá apresuradamente.

Worst meal weve had for awhile and considering it aint that cheap when you have to order at the counter and get your own drinks, im baffled, im not a huge mcdonalds fan but my god it beats this place! Order came without the spice on our chips, server took our plates away and came bac’ a few minutes later with the seasoning just shaken over the top f some of them, really?? The wraps are ok but to be honest as said before I can get this at mcdonalds for half the price. Chips were undercooked and tastless even with the sprinking of seasoning again mcdonalds taste better on this as well. The other dish was the fillet steaf sandwich, wow struggled to see the steak and what was there was overcooked, it was just all bun with a bit of tomato, portion sizes small and at £8.20 for a wrap and chips and over £12 for the steak sandwich it beggers belief why we waited 15 minutes for a table, what do people see in this place, first visit to a nandos and our last, no one asked if we were happy with everything, they didnt seem interested once we had ordered and paid! Sorry but It would have been better if I could have cooked it as well!

Mi novio y yo visitamos aquí para una comida rápida y nos decepcionó mucho. Ambos pedimos la hamburguesa de la puesta del sol con 1 lado regular. El servicio fue rápido, sin embargo, cuando comenzamos a comer nuestras hamburguesas, nos dimos cuenta de que el pollo sabía un poco extraño y se veía un poco rosado. Very middle of the road experience here!

Poor Customer service , asked for chicken breast was told all they had was thighs, this was after scrolling through the menu , ordered our meal , wrong order , dry burger with a lettuce leaf on top asked if l could have tomato still waiting , we arrived about 6.15 staff were buzzing about to clear tables , reminded me of roadrunner! no way you could catch their eye .

Pero la comida guardada el lugar realmente disfrutamos de la comida era excelente. No soy un fan de las colas en el bar a lugar la orden. La comida también es caro, pero merece la pena para un regalo. Regresaremos cada ahora y entonces, como un regalo.

Went today with my family including my 10 month old daughter. The service was good and the food was nice. However , my main complaint was that I wanted to order a small portion of sweet potato mash for my daughter but they could only give an adults portion at £3.35 as the computer didn't have a cost for a small portion! Felt it was a bit inflexible 'computer says no!'.

Always love a Nandos and this one was no different. Nita s food a layout as the others in Glasgow but food was same quality

Went on a Friday night after being told to wait 30 mins for a table we put our name on the list and came back 30 mins later the guy at the door asked us how long he told us to wait we replied 30 mins which had past he then asked us to sit and wait again 10 mins later we got a table outside I asked could we have a table inside as I don’t want to sit outside the shop were it is cold he then told us to take our seats and the next table available inside he will move us , this did not happen 3 other couples were sat inside within 10 mins of us being placed outside , my partner went and asked the boy who sat us outside if we could move inside as we had spotted free seats he said I’ll need to check with the host so he returned and we waited another 10 mins he didn’t say anything to the host so we then asked the host ourselves could we move inside she told my partner there was no seats which we could see there was and my partner pointed one out and she eventually sat us inside , this is not the first time this has happened at this store

Fuimos a Nando's con una amiga y pedimos nuestra comida cuando nuestra comida llegaba la orden fue completamente equivocada y nunca conseguí una hora atrás hubiera enviado todo si conseguimos uno. . . Las patatas fritas... sólo comimos fuera de la placa! Nando's peor que he tenido en mucho tiempo!

Totally disappointed in Nando's Braehead . Got chicken thighs which I usually get and I understand that the colour the usually are is light pink . As you can see in the picture this is a deep pink which I have never saw ! The member of staff explained how it is usually this colour but he can see why I wasn't happy as it was a "bit darker than the usual pink " and then nothing was done about it

I visited Nando's today with my partner and was shown to a seat by a young girl who was very pleasant and told my partner to order at the counter and to give table.

This was my first visit to Nando's - Family members had been before. It was a very busy Saturday but seating and service was quick. You were able to help yourself to drinks and sauces etc so this helped to speed up the process.I had a 1/2 chicken - not a lot of eating in it but still delicious. Family had chicken wraps with looked very nice.Only reason for 4 stars is that the 11 year old ordered from the kids menu which was crispy chicken strips with chips and a side of garlic bread - well when it arrived it was just a small chicken breast cut into slices and there were literally 6 chips on the plate.....considering the adult plates had soo much chips they were impossible to eat you think they would give the kids a bit more - she is 11 - not 4. She didn't like the chicken so didn't eat it as it had no coating on it as described in the menu. Her plate was the size of a saucer - maybe need to look at that Nandos.Other than that we had a pleasant experience:-)

Last night was our second visit to Nando's at Braehead, over a year apart.It was also the second time we had a long wait for our food. Over half an hour.When we asked about our meal the waitress said she thought it would just be another minute or two. Another ten minutes later when my wife went to the counter, the waitress said "I think that's yours there" (under the heatlamp).Another waitress brought the food to us a moment later. My wife's chicken was lukewarm and the lettuce was limp; my fillet steak was scarcely any better and our chips were cold; it had clearly been left under the heat lamp and forgotten about; for how long I wonder!We complained to the waitress, she offered us another and said we wouldn't have to wait long because it would be done 'just like that' and snapped her fingers. Why, then, did we have to wait forty minutes in the first place?£33 for two lukewarm one-course meals and three non-alcoholic drinks, after a forty minute wait. Once they replaced my wife's chicken and warmed mine up a bit it was acceptable but nothing special; certainly not what we'd describe as good value.Needless to say, we won't be back.

Arrived. Waited 25 minutes to be seated but it was a Friday evening at 8.00 and we hadn't booked. The food was nice and the service was usual. Does what it says on the tin!

Visited for a team lunch - 15 of us. Great that the restaurant were able to take a booking - as my experience previously has been that Nandos don't take bookings, but the website makes clear that if you contact the specific branch, they are open to doing so. We had a Friday lunchtime booking at the end of a month.Manager, Craig, sent a pre-order form - allowing us to order in advance and ensure that everyone could get what they wanted. We had a few unable to make the event so ordered a take away which was cooked fresh when we were ready to leave.Food arrived in a timely manner and we were checked on a number of times, without the experience being intrusive. A few desserts and teas/coffees were ordered and there was a bit of a wait for them but not an unreasonably long wait.Overall, it was a great experience. Thanks to Craig and team for making it so.

Visited Braehead branch and was massively disappointed. I love Nando's and never had any problems at other branches before this. Soft drinks machine wasn't working, no sparkling water, frozen yoghurt machine was out of order, no macho peas, and no cutlery ready either. Tables were sticky and dirty. Not what I expect from Nando's. Springfield Quay branch is always outstanding so expected the same standard here. Very poor.

I love Nando's restaurants, and I was so happy when I knew that this place serves halal chicken..but I didn't like the place..it was messy..with very stinky smell in the restaurant.. it was a total mess..unfortunately, not recommend

This Nandos used to be a bit run down. But is now going through a major refurbishment and will be serving halal chicken. Expect it to become busier at weekends and holidays

Plenty of choice for a dairy free customer. We always buy a sharing meal which is great value for money.

We went for lunch on Saturday afternoon, I always expect Nando's to be busy and have to wait for a table, so I was prepared.However what really frustrated me was the fact there were about 10 tables not taken but yet we still had to wait about 20 minutes, No-one advised why this was the case to just looked poor to the customers.It was fairly busy but nothing out of the norm for a Saturday afternoon but it looked as though the staff were struggling (under staffed maybe?) it just gives off a bad vibe and doesn't give a great experience.We were seated at a table against the back wall, the wall was covered in food and had not been cleaned in a good while! The table was matted and sticky (I don't if that makes sense but reminded me of a club floor or a pub where a load of drinks had been spilled over time.) The drinks dispenser was spilling out 'bottom of the barrel sediment' and there were no forks, again this seems as though it was down to staffing.The food was as expected, no complaints here.Each time I go to Nando's I do grudge the prices as I feel there are pretty steep for what you get, but on the other side the food is good.Overall I would say they need to smarten up on there staffing, cleanliness and efficiency.

My wife and I attended Nando's at Braehead last Thursday, it was fairly busy.After getting a rundown on the menu from a member of staff, my wife opted for the burger and I a chicken fillet meal. Food was hot and the portions were adequate. The main points we did not like was the self service model, i.e. select, go to bar and order, then pay. The cost for what we had we thought was a bit on the pricey side, i.e. £37 for two mains, dessert and refillable cokes. We won't rush back but all in all the food was ok, service, ok and the ambience ok.

Been to a few Nando's (Stirling, Falkirk, Glasgow and Dubai) this location is the best so far. Dropped in on the back of a stressful visit with the staff of the Braehead Apple Store, so we weren't in the best of fettle.However, that quickly changed with great customer service from the minute we arrived.The Chicken and sides were spot on, I suggest the Apple Store have a team building day out here to understand what customer service and quality is all about.Thanks Nando's see you soon.

My husband, myself and our 2 kids went to Nandos for my daughter's 12th birthday. After waiting for quiet a while for the food coming, the chips were cold, the burger was raw and the actual roll was very quiet hard it didn't taste fresh at all. We took no more than couple of bites on each meal. I decided to complain. The manager on duty was quiet rude she said we can cook your food again but the roll will be off the same batch. I said like hard to chew? No thanks. She said either that or you can get your money back. Because of her behaviour I didn't want to wait there any longer so left nandos without eating. At this stage my kids started feeling tired and didn't want to go to any other restaurant and wait. So we decided to get mcdonalds drive thru on the way home. My wee boy had fell asleep before getting home so basically he went to bed without eating and my daughter's birthday night was ruined. The next day I decided to complaint about my experience by nandos live chat. I was told someone will contact me within 5 days. I recieved a call today almost 3 weeks later. It was a call from the same branch, I think it was the same manager who was on duty that night. She said we resolved your issue by giving your refund. I said no issue was not resolved we left your restaurant without eating and my daughter evening was ruined. She said no point going on about it and there's nothing we can do. I said I don't want you to do anything anyway but your customer service is very poor and I will never return she said "thanks very much we will look forward to it". All I wanted was an apology for the attitude, don't know which was a bad experience on the visit to the restaurant or the phone call today.

Had a late lunch here with my daughter and granddaughter, I just don't understand the hype around this place. had to wait for a table and a good 20 mins for food, when mine came it was not exactly what I ordered the waitress did say she would take it away but after waiting so long I couldn't be bothered. I don't think the portion sizes are that great either. Seems to be popular with young people - won't be hurrying back here better value at other food venues in food court

I went to this nandos today and the experience wasn't great. After and not while ordering our food, we were told that there would be a half an hour wait for our food "because they had ran out of chicken". Me and my friend had both ordered whole chicken meals and this 30 minute wait turned into nearly an hour. The staff couldn't have been more polite than they were, bringing us a complimentary side but to wait so long after ordering food and paying and not being told their would be such a wait; I would've chosen something else altogether as a lot of time passed with many people also getting their meals and leaving. Perhaps the restaurant has changed management but the service could have been a whole lot better.

One route to to Breahead/ soar me and my girlfriend were in the mood to go to TGI's however it was an hour waiting and nandos was only 20 minutes waiting but I wish now I had just gone to TGI's we order the meal platter I asked for a large side of piri-Piri salted chips and extra side of Corn on the cob which I payed the extra for. When the meal arrived we got a mild chicken (I asked for medium spiced) no Piri-Piri salt on the chips and then to top it off we only got a regular portion it was only at the time of when we split the chips up we realised this. We left asking about the portion size but asked about the Piri- Piri salt and the woman just gave us a small tub of Piri-Piri salt to do it ourselves. This is poor customer service and needs sorted. If I order something I do expect to get what I paid for.

Pop in to this nando's quite often and never disappointed. Food is always quick, tasty and staff are extremely helpful!

First time at Nandos very disappointing. Chicken burger was look warm , food seems to be left under heat lamps before being picked up by waiting staff. Also free refills on soft drinks hood idea but were a bit flat no fizz, Waited 30 minutes for desserts had to ask someone to get them.no tea/ coffee as the machine was broken. Shame they haven't heard of a kettle. Wont be back ill be sticking to Frankie and bennies.

After being seated in the ideal location one of the waiting staff came over and started to explain how Nandos worked, we'd been to another branch before so saved him the speech, we both chose the thigh burgers may not be the exact name but that's what it was, they were delicious and think my new favourite, the staff were attentive but not in your face and what a nice atmosphere will be back again

Been to a few Nando's, this one is better than average. Food was hot, tasty and served in good time. Service as you'd expect from Nando's. A little less noisy than other branches I've visited and warmer too. Nando's in Silverburn for example is basically set in the walkways of the shopping center and your food gets cold really quickly.

Been to this nandos a few times now and have not been disapointed. It can be busy as located in a busy shopping centre however the queues seem to always move fast. Would highly recommend. I would choose to come here than go to any others in glasgow.

popped in with my mate last week for a quick bite, both had 5 chicken wings, medium sauce, mash and corn on cob, unlimited refills on juice, all for under £20 service was fast and friendly, it was my first time in Nandos and yeah i'll be back

very good Nando's, service is fast and present. value for money is excellent, though it is a chicken restaurant and i am not a vegetarian it is very good and accommodating for veggies. One of the better chain restaurants is Nando's.

For a chain, Nandos certainly delivers. We were seated quickly and the waiter was friendly and helpful. We ordered a platter which came out quickly and was cooked perfectly. The chicken was hot and fresh with a good kick and all of the sides were fresh.

I hope this is the Soar branch I am reviewing... I am an avid nandos fan! Been to several all over the country. This one, unfortunately doesn't meet the usual standard. Arrived with my husband and baby son and they seated us near in the corner near the tills (why they have seating here is beyond me). We asked to moved to be plonked in another corner next to absolutely filthy walls with nandos sauce splattered up them. Absolutely filthy flooring and generally horrible surroundings; this put me off eating here and left... Never to return!!!!!!

Well my kids have went on about Nando's being a great place so we decided lets have a go. Personally I cannot see what the fuss is about. mediocre tasting food in a mediocre styled restaurant. I suppose it could be compared to a fast food burger joint that does chicken.No table service you go to the counter order your food but the people taking your order are about as helpful as a paper water bucket. They do not seem capable of offering alternatives or suggestions. As for soft drinks burger style help your self. The beer is like frightened Budweiser avoid the watery tasteless beer. To be honest I have had better chicken kebabs from our local takeaway. Better places in Braehead with better selections.

Double chicken Pitta with corn on the cob and chips , was lovely . Really enjoyed meal , just a shame about the four kids running wild through the restaurant whilst we were eating , I have four kids and not one of them would be allowed to do this at a restaurant . I would hope that the staff would deal with this the next Time!! Cheers though guys meal was lovely , I'll not be back though ????

This was my first visit to Nandos, and although I wasn't terribly impressed, my partner and two teenage children enjoyed it. The service was fine and we were quickly seated and served by polite staff. The surroundings were what you'd expect from a multinational chain, i.e., impersonal and corporate. The food was ok but nothing special and the portions were verging on niggardly. Prices are reasonable. There's not much to dislike but very little to like either; I know I'm in the minority here, but I just can't see what the fuss is about.

Visit this Nando's with friends quite regularly and always get the same great efficient service. The restaurant was busy but we still got seated right away, placed our order and the food was with us within 10/15 minutes! The food is always cooked really well and portion sizes are big, compared to Silverburn and other Nando's, this is one of the best. Will definitely visit again.

No matter what nandos you go to, you will never be disappointed! Never wait long for your food. Food is always to a good standard! A happy returning customer:)

We visit nandos quite often as a family and always enjoy it. Every time we come to Braehead we cant resist. Nice restaurant, staff friendly and great value for money. I love the extra hot sauce on my chicken and its got a good kick to it.

It seems this is another company downsizing it's portions but keeping the same price.The food was nice if small. The service was nice. The food was niceIt's ok not romantic not great but it does what it says I. Just disappointed that they have chosen to reduce their portion size. And over £2 for a tiny coffee..!

Staff were nice and we were quickly seated. They have toilet facilities inside the restaurant. Was pretty quick service even though it was a busy night. Really enjoyed the chicken wrap - it felt healthy and filling! A great place for a family meal or group of friends.

Despite it being busy the staff were superb and the food and bottomless drinks the same good Nando's standard. As with many places to eat, hotels, car hire etc. it is often the people that make the experience. I was really impressed with the waiting and order taking staff here. Thank you

Came here today before going to the cinema ordered the all together now which was good then 1/2 chicken which although the thigh and drumstick was nice the breast was dry and over cooked This is the 3/4 time this has happened clearly cooked ahead And reheated on the grill which is a shame as if could of been much better

If you love your chicken then there is no better place to go. Good food, Good prices and good service. Look forward to our next visit

Attended the Braehead shopping centre and a cheeky wee nando's had to be done. Fourth time at this venue and the staff, as always, are great. Friendly always quick at getting your food out to you. Noticed a manager helping behind the counter then out serving then cleaning tables. Outstanding branch!

I've always come to this Nando & I've never had a problem with their food & service.The food is always served hot and they always give you a big portion of chips.The service is lighting speed as the food is always brought within 5 minutes.I hope they keep this up!
