Service was poor. Drinks overpriced (acceptable). Food quality, mediocre. Eg: chicken soup £8.50. Are they serious ??? Meat was tough.

The quality taste and the size of the portion are poor small and was burnt too.. compared to the other Nandos in UK. We went to have the lunch thinking will be full for the day as usual.. but Allas!!! The Ortiz of rice and chicken were so small and the chicken was not cooked properly and was burnt and the lemon and herb were not present instead it was taste like burnt. Went with my kids and we all end up having something from KFC

We arrived at 8:20pm and stood by the “wait here” desk for 10mins before staff member acknowledged us, saying we’d be brought to table shortly. We were seated at 8:35pm in a booth by toilets, and handed menus with a “there will be a 20mins wait for food” comment. We looked at menu and decided what everyone wanted…. And waited … and waited. At 8:50, I noticed a bar code on table decoration so re looked at the menu, only then realising we were supposed to download an app. There is a small written section at top of menu saying to download the app to order food. None of us were having starters so this narrative was completely missed. During this period, staff passed out table several times avoiding eye contact at all cost. Was really weird. When placing order on app, there was so many items off the menu. No burgers and no salad. Food delivered shortly around 9:10pm which was very average. My chicken was dry and none of our chicken breasts were the promised “crispy”. Portion sizes very small. Zero customer service. Other than about 4 words spoken when we brought to table and an “anything else?” when our meals were brought our, there was absolutely no staff interaction. At 9:15pm we started to notice patrons standing by our table every now and then. Both ladies and gents toilets were closed, and patrons asked to use the disabled toilets. Seems to me like Nando customers were far from its staff’s minds during our time there. All was very mechanical, no engagement and has left our party with a very poor impression of Nando’s. Not sure is this is typical Nando’s service or just a bad day.
