I went to the beer park with a friend for his birthday, it’s great that you can select what beers you can try, he really enjoyed, as he was able to try various larger from Germany. Dave the owner is full of information and really helpful

Had coffee and a lovely cinnamon bun this weekend. Lovely relaxed environment and the young waitress was especially friendly. Will definitely be calling back.

Always do resteraunt a couple of times, five all had excellent food, popcorn cockles real taste of the sea, very fresh,Ribs very very large, pizzas ok but, limited selection of basic pizza toppings needed to add extras. The salad bowls with Steak came with Steak on top of salad in bowl so was heated, best to ask for a plate with salad on side? One of group had rue sausage which they said was lovely. Second visit just did Steaks, loads of salad, love the u shape fries. Steaks were all perfect, one was a little fatty. Here if you ask for medium rare it's more on the rare side. For a pink centre no blood try medium. One guest had a rare, they like it really rare and it really was. IPA was good but had to ask for further pints with less froth. Staff were excellent had a good laugh. Not as good as original owners, but still worth a return visit.

We were a group of six for Sunday Lunch. What a magnificent meal, but just not that the staff are brilliant, friendly, profession, service with a smile as well. This place on a Sunday Lunch time is just humming and yet the staff remain cool and focused. The roast welsh beef Sunday Lunch is nothing short of excellent, well presented and delicious. Couples with a great choice of vegetables, yorkshire puddings, roast parsnips and potatoes along with a thick savory gravy. This is just not home cooked it is even better. Portions are large and great value for money. The deserts are also fantastic. It's only a shame The Red Lion is not closer to to us, as it would definitely be a regular place for eating out. Deserves a 10, but can only give 5.

We met the owner during the week and as a result of his recommendation visited their burger van Friday evening to have their homemade fish and chips.. so good. We then visited Sunday to try the Sunday lunch.. spectacular! All homemade to perfection, tasty and generously portioned it was delightful! We absolutely loved every element. The veggie option was a treat and not the run of the mill usual option you get. What a great place will be back every week!

What a magnificent venue, totally unexpected interior that just had the wow factor. Then there was a first class menu offering a wide variety of delicious food backed up with excellent personal service. Visited for lunch and evening meal and didn’t want to leave. Well impressive restaurant and shop

This is a grade 2 listed hotel,so don't expect to find a 'holiday inn look alike', it's a warm, cosy, old fashioned hotel with a fantastic welcome, excellent staff clean and tidy rooms with some modern fittings, good entertainment and a fantastic breakfast with first class service especially from the youngsters who served our breakfast. Highly recommended for a vist.

Spent a few hours here watching the football and stayed for the quiz. The queue at the bar at times was beyond a joke, I spent over 10 minutes in the queue just waiting to order a drink on one occasion. We didn’t have a main meal here but saw a board advertising pie and chips for £18.50 !! You’re having a laugh. They do have a big screen which is great for the sport but they need more staff.
