First time here, birthday meal, was very impressive, don't do tapas regularly but the food was really good, good choice of dishes. The service was really efficient and the staff very friendly and keen to chat away getting your opinion on their food and explaining what was in some of the dishes. We picked out 6 dishes, which they bring to your table not in any order. Didn't try the paella this time but will try it the next time . The home made bread was very good.

We had early breakfast in this small deli with our family of 5. Menu and the whole experience were something out of the ordinary. Everything was made to order and really good, for example the wonderful toasted strawberry and brie filled croissant. We enjoyed also the thoughtful service as we ordered even something outside of the menu. Prices reasonable.

Best cocktails around Edinburgh and great staff. Best whiskey sours ive had in a long time. The venue itself is unique also accompanied by good tunes.

We had a fabulous early Christmas lunch here with my elderly parents. We all thoroughly enjoyed the food and the service was so friendly and efficient. We were really well looked after and will definitely be recommending it. I’m sure we’ll be back.

This afternoon we had a great experience at PULSE. The food was very very tasteful. Equally good was the friendly staff. We felt more than welcome. You’re on top of our list!!

The food was so incredible, they give other "more experienced" restaurants a run for their money. The menu changes every week as it's primarily a training restaurant. They also book up really quick are are only open for short amounts of times but they are it is so worth going out of your way for. We visited for lunch and it was an Indian inspired meal (I was initially skeptical being Indian myself). However, I was blown away by all the flavours and the skill that every element was cooked with. The food is fresh and everything was homemade since the students are learning to make everything from scratch. The dishes were all incredible and were the perfect portion sizes. Well done to all the students and staff. Some constructive feedback would be that maybe they could have little feedback cards on the tables for students so they can get both positive and constructive feedback about all their hard work! I can't wait to be back!

Sehr leckere Sandwiches, die frisch zubereitet und getoasted werden. Es gibt auch vegane Optionen. Auf jeden Fall empfehlenswert als Frühstück oder Snack zwischendurch.

From the same premises with a similar style of cuisine, Bistro Coco continues to serve high quality food and is already building on its renewed 5* review rating via TripAdvisor. We visited this beautiful wee gem tucked away in this pleasant suburb of Edinburgh: Newington. The lovely couple who own it ( and two sister restaurants in the city) explained they have changed their emphasis to wine by the glass or bottle with upmarket snacks from local high quality suppliers such as Iain Mellis cheese. We loved the cosy autumn into winter vibe: beautiful tasteful lighting enhanced this. They have a truly fabulous selection of wine to suit all tastes. We can’t wait to go back!
