The atmosphere is lovely in this fabulous building. The staff were wonderful and friendly. The food was amazing...best pizza and risotto, even passed on our comments to the chef. Have rebooked for 2 weeks time!

Our favourite place for coffee, a pause from the crowds, meeting up with friends, and checking out the new film releases. The staff are fabulous - this week we're totally devastated to learn that the wonderful Laura is moving on. Laura will be missed by so many Tyneside regulars, who rely on her calm, kind, attentive, thoughtful, good natured, welcoming warmth and friendliness. Thank you so much for all your years of hard work - both in the coffee rooms and in the café Laura. You have made our day so many times, simple acts of kindness all build up to make an enormous difference to everyone's lives. Disgusting service and really really rude staff. I am genuinely exempt as I had an ear operation not that I am actually required to tell staff this, but I did and staff started denied me access and were really rude to me And my friend. I have been a customer for years as I am a local, and I can happily say I will not be visiting again

Firstly the good - I was really looking forwards to going here. Love supporting local businesses and Chilean food was quite tempting! The empenada was simply excellent. Big, meaty and tasty with a perfect crunch. Good job. The salsa verde with it added a lovely kick too. Unfortunately the sandwich was average. Underseasoned and not great. They are new on the scene - so hopefully teething problems. If you're passing - have the empenada - honestly great.
