Tried the new cocktail and food offering was absolutely lush.

We usually attend the quiz night and like the atmosphere and drinks but the manager (Mark) treated our friend who works there (who for the record, is the only reason that we've been attending the night and buying food and drinks there) very awfully so we left, and it has entirely turned us off. This seems to be a continuous problem with this manager.

Went with a group of friends for food over bank holiday. The new food menu is tasty and there's plenty of options for vegetarians too. The staff were friendly and speedy, reasonably priced too.

Manager Mark was very rude to one of our friends so we left.

Visited Ware rooms for the launch of the Little Bao Boy food menu. Food, service and atmosphere were great. We tried a few different Bao buns and some loaded fries, all were packed full of flavour. Staff were great and gave suggestions of food and cocktails when we couldn't decide what to order. Would definitely recommend and will definitely be returning

I visited for the England game and was blown away by the fantastic vibe inside the venue. The atmosphere was electric, and the music after the game kept the energy high. The food was a pleasant surprise—those baos were delicious! The team was amazing, providing excellent service throughout the night. Highly recommend for a great night out.

Tuve un Pinot Grigo, mi compañero tenía una pinta de postres, ¡ambos estaban tibios! ! ! ¿Podría beber mi vino bien, nunca se queja de la cerveza? sin embargo, se lo llevó al barman para decirle que no hacía frío, solo para que le dijeran que toda su cerveza estaba en la temperatura y que todo lo que podía hacer era ponerla fría. ¿vaso? ? Que él no tenía control sobre eso, encogiéndose de hombros, realmente no molestaba a tbh. Si te gusta lager, vino tibio y tibio, ve aquí! ! Si no, no lo veas. No volveremos aquí de nuevo, ciertamente tampoco es barato

Excellent place 👍 to stop & stay. Very reasonable rates. The eating facility is limited. So is parking. Staff are very friendly and helpful.

Absolutamente de primera clase! ! Reservamos las bodegas para el cumpleaños número 18 de nuestro hijo y desde el primer correo electrónico, el servicio de todos fue excelente. El búfer era delicioso y abundante (optamos por el bufé americano de perritos calientes, hamburguesas, alitas, cuñas y pizza) Craig, el DJ que organizaron para nosotros fue excelente y el personal del bar era de primera categoría. Muchísimas gracias a Rachel y Toni que estuvieron a cargo en la noche; Muy profesional, amable y eficiente, todos hicieron un trabajo fantástico. Aunque Mandy no pudo estar allí, nos dejó una pequeña nota por desearle un feliz cumpleaños a Robbie y le metió un par de tokens de cerveza para darle un trago. No he estado en ningún lugar que haga un esfuerzo adicional en el servicio al cliente como este. Muy recomendable.

Booked The Ware Rooms for a local gaming community event. Cosy, reasonably priced food & drinks and Autism-friendly. Live sports and attracts friendly crowds of people.

Drinks fine, staff are friendly and the atmosphere was nice, food is absolutely disgusting, I paid £5 for a frozen Asda 50p pizza, utter joke.

Food is wonderful! Would recommend a visit for the food. The atmosphere was ok. Quite cool and dank inside. Staff are friendly and efficient. They have a deal on at the moment. 2 meals and 2 pints for £10. I'd recommend you pop along for this affer.

We go to Classic Rock Nights and this is our new venue, great place to hire for other occassions.

Attended the Ware Rooms for a retirement do and was impressed by the comfortable lounge and bar. Good selection of real ales, lagers, spirits and wines. Excellent, attentive staff. City centre location. Well worth a visit.

Food is microwaved, drinks are over priced; used to be better before it was bought out. Avoid and go to Flat Caps.

Would have got five stars but unfortunately the bar staff let the side down. I had to wait 10 minutes to get served. Anyone could just walk up, push in and get served. If I hadn't shouted up and said I'm next, I'd still be waiting there now. Come on management, get your staff properly trained and get a system in place to serve people in order.

Tuvimos nuestra fiesta de compromiso aquí el sábado 19 de enero y fue fabuloso! ! Tuvimos más de 100 invitados, el lugar estaba bien distribuido. El personal del bar era amable, rápido para ayudar y vistió la habitación tan rápido! ! El bar estaba reservado al menos una hora antes de que llegaran nuestros invitados, lo que nos dio tiempo suficiente para preparar música y comida Definitivamente recomendaría este lugar para una fiesta y definitivamente usaremos las salas de vajilla en el futuro. !

Wasn't expecting anything special from the food for the price, it was so much worse. Microwaved curry that was over nuked, first bite burned my mouth(actual blister sores). Wedges were cold in the middle. Had to leave midway through as burning in my mouth needed some attention.

Loved the vibe at the Ware Rooms. Was so happily surprised to find it off the lobby of the hostel. Great drinks, great service. Trivia nights and music. Pool table. Loved the tables and open atmosphere.

The staff are incredibly helpful and courteous. A very enjoyable experience

Awful bar staff and broken glass left lying on the floors, the beer tasted too Watery. I didn’t enjoy my night at the ware rooms, frankly such a shame as I was celebrating a mates birthday!

Engagement party. Modern place. DJ played some decent tunes. Prices are standard to high. Would go back but it is slightly out of the way.

It's a sports bar. It has a decent beer selection. The food is alright but not extravagant. It's comfy and had many TVs for watching the sports. They also often do good beer offers during games.

Held my BIG Birthday party here.(over 100 friends). Great venue, amazing/friendly staff, good DJ and very tasty pie and pea Buffett. Thank you to Mandy and the team for making the event go without a hitch. A fantastic time had by all. Thanks again :)

Went in this afternoon while in toon. We had the two meals a tenner. Fantastic deal. We had the chilli also a fosters and wine. How do they do it for a tenner. Real value. Pleasant staff. Give it a go.

Cheap drinks when nufc are on the TV. Might have to wait at the bar but there's views of the TV from where you stand / sit and you can't complain for the price.

Such a good find! went here for a friends party and the setup was fantastic, although it is out of the way of the centre the drinks were reasonably priced and the staff were polite and friendly

Many thanks to the staff for allowing us to hold our daughters 18th party. From start to finish the staff were fantastic. The way they handles the everything as well as making sure everyone was over 18 buying drink was brilliant.

Hidden out of the way yet worthy of a visit, great staff lovely decor and great food. Excellent for watching sport or just hanging out. Good customer service and reasonably priced for both food and drink. A visit is a must!!

Always quiet when I've been in. It's pretty spacious, decent beer choices, pool table and sport on TV. They could do with rotating beers more to give more variety.

Big bar with loads of tv's- when I went in the 6 nations rugby was on and it was full of blokes drinking beer

Organizamos una fiesta privada para el 18º aniversario de nuestras hijas en Ware Rooms el 9 de febrero de 2018. Desde las consultas iniciales hasta el evento real, el personal fue excelente, siempre dispuesto a ayudar y se aseguró de que todo saliera según lo planeado. El gerente de eventos se aseguró de que habíamos pensado en todo, desde dónde ubicar a la banda hasta ordenar el buffet y las decoraciones. El día de la fiesta, todo lo que teníamos que hacer era dejar las decoraciones y el personal decoró la sala para nuestro plan. Una noche tan fabulosa, el personal del bar, una persona de la puerta y se las arreglaron admirablemente con la gente más joven. Una noche fantástica que mi hija recordará por siempre. Muchas gracias chicos por todo:) x

Great venue to watch the football and good offers on drinks

Bar attached to a hostel. Has pool, skysports and decent selection on draught. Was dead when we were there at 630 on a Friday though...

Nice space if a bit lacking in atmosphere. Beer selection is a little limited but have seen plenty worse.

Nice atmosphere, good seating and a good selection of taps. Unfortunately I wasn't told about the charge for using a card under 5 pounds, which really (legally) I should have been. Breakfast is nothing to write home about, all very basic served on paper plates or in paper bowls. Beans quickly microwaved, and bacon probably warmed up in there, too. I think the only fresh item was the coffee.

Best place I know to get a fab breakfast to start your day. Staff are so lovely. Very attentative nothing is too much trouble.

I ate at this bar most days while I stayed in the Euro Hotel Hostel. The wait staff was friendly, and helpful with the coins! The food was plenty and good. Lots of choices for breakfast, with a 5 pound breakfast special. The Indian food is fantastic! The nachos are another good choice. Lots of drinks available, both alcoholic and not. Great for watching football games with enthusiastic people. Also good for large events like wedding receptions.

I attended my friends engagement party at the weekend, what a great bar. Staff were excellent, food delicious, drinks very resonably priced and lots of selection. I will be back for sure!

Había oído hablar de este lugar, pero no estaba seguro de ir, ya que es parte del eurohostel en Newcastle. Llamado para un bocado rápido antes de que el teatro ya que no está demasiado lejos.

After some persuading the lads eventually agreed to try here for pre-match drinks as it's been advertised quite a bit locally. We got here around 1.20pm planning to have a few beers, maybe a bite to eat and watch the end of the early game before heading closer to the ground. Fairly empty bar on arriving but nice enough boozer, warehouse style interior. Pints bought we stood around the large circular table. Lagers, bitters & ciders ordered were all spot on. A few more customers appeared and we noticed Bargain Hunt on TV not the footy. I asked barman if he would switch match on. This is when it all went downhill for me. Bearing in mind it's Saturday (day of sport) and BT Sports signs outside! His reply was sorry MATEY the rugby's is coming on. I said ah right no worries but then asked when it starts he said not for another 25 mins MATEY (grr). I asked politely that surely the awesome Bargain Hunt could be switched to the footy until 2pm when the coverage of the rugby begins. His reply was if I can find the channel I'll switch it on when I get a chance. I said it's BT Sport the one you've got advertised everywhere outside. Ok MATEY I'll see if I can find it. He just didn't bother his backside, it never came on so we left. The pony-tailed arrogant/ignorant little "person" either loves Bargain Hunt or hates football or just seemed to generally have a chip on his shoulder. Never will we return, Ware Rooms you've lost some good custom on match days well continue to stick with The Haymarket bars.

Después de persuadir a los muchachos al final algunos aceptaron tratar aquí para tomar partido. Ha sido anunciado en NUFC bastante. COM (el mejor partido de las premisas). toon Llegamos aquí alrededor de 1. 20 planificación pm a tomarse unas cervezas, quizás algo de comer y ver el final del juego temprano antes de ir más cerca de la tierra. Bastante bar vacío al llegar, pero bastante agradable, estilo almacén interior de boozer. Pintas comprado nos paramos alrededor de la gran mesa circular. Lagers, and bitters" y sidras ordenados eran acertadas. Unos más clientes aparecían y nos dimos cuenta de Ganga Hunt en la TV no el partido. Le pregunté si pensaba interruptor barman match. Este es cuando todo fue cuesta abajo para mí. Teniendo en cuenta que es sábado (día de deporte) y BT señales deportes fuera! Su respuesta fue lo siento, colega el rugby es procedente. Me dijo ah no te preocupes, pero justo cuando comienza a continuación pregunté dijo no para otro 25 minutos, colega (GRR). Pregunté amablemente que seguramente el increíble Ganga Hunt podría ser cambiado a el partido hasta las 2 de la tarde cuando la cobertura de rugby comienza. Mi prometido y yo tuvimos nuestra fiesta de compromiso aquí anoche. Tuvimos un tiempo absolutamente increíble! Reserva el lugar era una brisa con Mandy, ella es tan encantadora y a medida todo lo que exactamente cómo queríamos. Y ayer el personal, Luke, Marina, Ryan, Beth, Richard y Shauna, eran tan absolutamente fantástico! Fueron muy serviciales y amables. Hicieron que nuestra noche muy especial.

Primera vez aquí esta noche y lo que un bar. Fuimos con un grupo de muchachos para ver el partido. Las bebidas a mitad de precio mientras match también gran variedad de bebidas, buen ambiente. Todos nos lo pasamos bien. Sin duda volveremos a visitar.

Este es un fantástico bar poco si te alojas en el albergue o no. Nos tomamos unas copas antes de que nos dirigimos hacia el centro de la ciudad. El bar está bien decorado y con buena música y televisores con deportes en directo.

Serví mi 40 cumpleaños fiesta de cumpleaños en el Ware habitaciones y no podría haber sido más impresionados con el lugar. Mandy y el personal era muy atento y el lugar muy bien decorado para la ocasión. Optamos por ofrecer algunos aperitivos para nuestros clientes como la proporciona la Ware habitaciones y quedamos muy impresionados con la comida incluida, muy generoso y un montón. En conjunto, recomendaría el Ware Habitaciones para cualquier ocasión, ya que es un lugar fantástico de buen tamaño con bebida y comida a un precio razonable para los precios del centro de la ciudad. Fueron muy atentos a nuestras peticiones y me gustó el hecho de que podíamos jugar nuestra propia música a través del iPod. . . . . . . . . Muy impresionado.

Great venue, staff are cool too

Lovely bar, saw some live music there which was raising funds for a local arts project. Drinks are a bit pricey however having amazing local beers on tap makes this a must visit!

Great bar to watch football in or be in while the match is on, as it was when we were in the England v Scotland.The staff are brilliant that's including the security as they allow to have a dance around and enjoy yourself unlike some kill joys in other bars about the City of Newcastle,fair play to them all.

The ware rooms was nice and clean and fits in with the current trend of bare brink and metal design. I was there for an engagement party and was happy that there is plenty of seating, the staff are nice enough and it had a good atmosphere. There is room to dance and they had the rugby playing so you get a different mix of people

A few friends often pop in here for a few drinks after work, Basically microwave food and microwave food prices:- Sausages and Mash are probably the better choice, abit of a nightmare if its full or a stag do is staying in the hotel above, no good for a quiet drink.

What can i say! This venue is an absolute hidden gem.Had my engagement party here last saturday! Mandy, toni and all the ware rooms staff couldnt have done enough for me and my partner. It was the easiest of planning. All my guests complimented on the venue. Reasonable prices, loads of choice of food and drink. The buffet was fab too...there was so much food. Toni decorated the venue for us and so there was nothing stressful to do.... that helped us loads. Plus mandy was on call for any queries i had. Thank you so much for such an enjoyable night! Well be back again...

We held our engagement party at The Ware Rooms at the start of July. From the initial enquiry email to leaving the party on the night everything was amazing! The staff were incredibly helpful and made it a great night! Compared with some other places in Newcastle the food and drink prices were really reasonable and the buffet they provided was lovely, plus it is free room hire. The team literally couldn't do enough, especially Mandy and Toni! We were told to drop our decorations off during the week and they set everything up and also cleared away, keeping any spare decorations for us to pick up the following week. Couldn't recommend highly enough :)

We had both breakfast and supper here during our recent stay at the Eurohostel and we agreed that we would have been satisfied if we had cooked those meals ourselves.

Stopped for a few drinks before a gig with my sister as we were staying next door. Great selection of drinks at really cheap prices. Would visit again.

I heard about the Ware Rooms through a friend so I decided to contact them when looking for a venue for a surprise birthday party. The staff could not have done more to ensure that we had a great night: communication was prompt, the venue itself was free of charge, the price for catering was more than reasonable, decorations were put up for us, we could supply our own music through an iPod and they were able to store the cake so I could get my fiancé there without arousing suspicion!I will be recommending The Warerooms to anyone who needs an excellent city centre venue for any occasion.

We held our engagement party at The Ware Rooms on 27th February and were extremely impressed with the effort put in by the staff to ensure the night went as we'd hoped. Despite hire being free nothing was too much trouble for them, they put up all of our decorations (and cleared them up) to save us the job and allowed us to order food from the main menu, which all commented was delicious. We were also able to use their sound system for our iPod set list and TV screens for a photo slide show. We wouldn't hesitate to recommend The Ware Rooms to our friends, it really is a hidden gem!Thank you all so much.

The breakfast was absolutely revolting apple juice tasted like fairy liquid warm orange juice powdered egg just horrible avoid at all costs

We visit the Warerooms regular and decided to book the venue for my sons 21st. What a great night, the staff were fab they took all of the stress away decorating the room etc, we just had to turn up. A lot of family and friends turned up old and young, some of which had not been to the Warerooms before but were very impressed and will be returning. Everyone commented on how lovely the buffet was and the DJ was great, it was a brilliant night and would highly recommend the venue for any occasion

We visit the Warerooms regular its a great bar with a great atmosphere and lovely staff so we decided to book my sons 21st here and so pleased we did, what a brilliant night we had, the staff took over everything so we had no hassle, the food was gorgeous and everyone commented on how lovely the buffet and venue was, the DJ was brilliant and catered for everyone young and old, would definitely recommend the warerooms for any type of occasion. Looking forward to our next night there.
