We came for my friends hen party. From first making enquiries to the last drink we bought, the service has been incredible. The food was delicious and the ladies who kept checking if we wanted to order drinks were so friendly and helpful. I'd also like to make a special shout out to Roxanne who helped me with the menus, drinks options, and payments leading up to the event. She was incredibly helpful and accommodating.

Had an incredible time here the other day! Meg and Mia were absolutely fantastic, great service and cocktails were delicious! Would reccomend a visit, especially if those two are working!

A very trendy and popular gathering spot for the students and younger generation. Good music, well lit, beautiful layout, and a fair few places to sit. Prices are a little on the heavy side with 4 shots for £15 of some weak mixture being a popular choice. Cocktails are reasonably priced at around £10 per drink. Has some outside seating areas for couple and 2 huts which seat around 6 people each for those small groups looking to enjoy something a little more out-doorsy. Bouncers are the usual deal, miserable and thuggish. This is usually packed with younger people like students and 18-21 year olds, therefore as a 40 something, you might feel a little outta place here. I really felt a bit out of place here. Some of the young lads who work there are arrogant and rude, especially the floor walkers, and maybe one of the managers. He had a security loop in his ear so figured he's management. Bar staff are generally friendly. Would recommend to the younger people but if you're 30+ and feeling your age, you might wanna avoid this place. That last comment is probably more relevant for men than women.

Bottomless brunch on Saturday, service was good however kept forgetting drinks and I sat for 30 mins with no drink. Food was tasty however such small portions more of a starter than a main meal. Would go again but not for food.

It’s alright, not how it used to be unfortunately. I mean the service was good but a little slow. It didn’t feel like you couldn’t move in the bar which was great as some places pack as many as they can in.

The bar manager (unfortunately I forgot his name ) a white male on his yearly 30 abit bold with beard extremely unprofessional and rude. I ordered 8 pink tequilas and the bar staff served me 8 normal tequilas shots by mistake. So I asked them to change because I ordered pink tequilas not a normal tequilas and then they told me that I have to pay for the pink tequila and then get the refund because they put through as normal tequilas. So because of their mistake I will have to pay £60 instead of £30 and wait a few days for my refund ... its ridiculous because all they need to do is giving me the pink tequilas. So they won't do the exchange for no reason even so was their mistake. The situation escalate to the bar manager on the Saturday night 20th January he was the most unprofessional person and he didn't care about the situation and his body language was awful. Clearly a white men full of the privileged no take any responsibility for the mistake that his team done not even an apology. He told me I will have to pay again and wait for the refund otherwise I won't be service . He shouldn't be leading because he didn't care about the situation and guest satisfaction even after we spend alot of money for my friends birthday.

What a fun place! We had absolutely delicious food combined with great drinks and service. The atmosphere was positively fantastic. A great place to go anytime!

We had the afternoon tea. And lovely, different from your usual afternoon tea. You get to try a lot of things from the menu, and it's all nice, but some were really, really nice. And I'd definitely recommend it.

We did the cocktail making class and it was really good, value for money

The place looks great but it's obscenely priced and smells gross, toilets needed some cleaning, surely they can pay a cleaner with the drink markup being what it is!

Didn't have food but will on my return visit. Staff were lovely and very efficient, there was no waiting for our drinks which were delicious

Would not recommend for a works Christmas party, very over priced. Food substandard, charged over £400 for a so called private bar area table but this was used by anyone who came into the bar. Definitely will not use this venue again. THE ISSUES WERE NOT RESOLVED TO A SATISFACTORY CONCLUSION

What is the point of having A Latin Place, even with paintings of musical icons like Celia Cruz, if they are not going to make our music known, I understand that their largest clientele are British, but then it is better to give the place another name or I don't know, The point is that ultimately it is not A Place that refers to its name and what one expects when listening to Revolucion de Cuba.

Had the afternoon tea with a rather weak cocktail. The food portions were of good quality but small. When the bill arrived an extra charge was added for service with a hand written score line through it at the bottom when I questioned this extra charge it was quickly removed. I found this practice rude as I always leave a generous tip to the person serving me as I know they’re getting the tip and not the company. This isn’t the USA were this practice is normal as this has put me off going again. “Check your bill folks”

Came to Newcastle for a night and when I saw Revolución cuba i thought the Latin American environment was going to be all night but when arrived we were told the Latin music is from 6-9 :( Cocktails are great price for the quality. Really recommend it, I would have just loved being able to dance Latin music.

Fantastic venue! Lovely atmosphere and a wonderful rooftop bar.

Attended a Dachshund event with me Mrs, Son and doggy. Really well organised and everyone had fun.

Had a great time here for lunch for my wife's birthday, food was amazing and service was fantastic. As always Revolucion is highly recommend.

Cocktails tasted watered down. Food poor. Nice decor and good service.

Very good service, smiling waitress, available and very professional. Very good atmosphere, a good choice of cocktails (not too much, not too little). Good food just the burger that I had the bun was a little overcooked. Otherwise this is an address that I will remember for when I return to Newcastle.

Fab place for food and drinks. Food was brought out quickly and tasted amazing. There was plenty of gluten free options too! Large cocktail menu for those after a few drinks. Music was quite loud and it is more of a place for drinks than a sit down dinner but it was still very enjoyable. Service was great too, the woman who served us was friendly and helpful when we needed to order GF for an allergy.

Really enjoyed our bottomless brunch. The service was amazing, staff were all really friendly and they were back at the table checking if anyone wanted more drinks constantly

Went into this bar for the first time on my first wedding anniversary for a celebratory drink. First table we sat down at we were told to move without any warning. 2nd table we sat at we were spoken to by a member of staff like a 2nd class Citizen because we hadn’t booked a table in advance, all we asked for was what table number was as we went to use the qr code like all the signs said. Found all the service extremely rude and will not return to this bar in future

Cocktail making class was great fun, but drinks are expensive here. £9+ for a double Malibu and Coke 😳😳 Bar is completely cashless as well which is a bit frustrating.

Booked bottomless brunch for 50th birthday, Erin & Ella were great whilst booking, couldn't help enough. Booking & pre ordering was hassle free via email. We all had a great afternoon, lovely cocktails (very tasty). Best bottomless brunch!

Absolutely loved spending my 40th birthday party there. The staff was amazing, the cocktails were delicious and the atmosphere was great. We started with afternoon tea on the ground floor and spent the rest of the afternoon on the terrace. Will be back!

I would like to give a shout out to Betty and Erik for their excellent customer service at a private event last night. They made me and my friends feel very welcome. They were really friendly and I was very impressed with how attentive they was. Erik was also very lovely. They worked well as a pair and made my revs de cuba experience memorable.

Just a few pointers for y’all Visit to RDCuba Re:Answer to my comments below. Concerns: 1/. Got my name wrong 2/. When you eat there we must be on camera and time our meal. 3/. At least this is big brother in action! Why would we go to an evening out and be timed by video? 4/. The cameras must be poor as I only ate 2/3 of the chicken due to stringy 4/. No real apology, just continual “ excuses” Good morning Kevin, Thanks for the feedback. Apologies that you didn’t feel that your service was the slickest on Saturday. Logistically the pre-purchased vouchers have to be registered online by us in advance. For some reason I can see that this wasn’t the case and that our Sales Executive, Ella, attached this to your reservation at 18:34, just a minute or two after you were seated. This isn’t a function that our dining room team are trained in, hence the necessity to seek support in resolving this. I’m very sorry about the meatballs, this should never happen as our kitchen team are frequently very diligent when using temperature probes to ensure food is served piping hot. Our spicy fried chicken tapas dish is made with chicken thigh fresh in house so this could be considered stringier than chicken breast if this was the expectation for the dish. It does appear from CCTV that this was fully eaten. We do serve our tapas as ‘serve when ready’ akin to how it would be served in Latin countries. It does appear that we served your second round of dishes twelve minutes after your first round which despite not being twenty minutes, is still not where we would want to be, apologies. Poor service this time around, a little issue with a friends card payment(payment had gone through but barman insisted it hadnt) certainly no customer is always right attitude, and no apology when we provided proof .

We didn't eat here just met some friends for drinks. It was. We sat outside in one of the sheds which was perfect for us. Inside there was a live band playing and it wasn't over busy so we got served at the bar very quickly. The staff were really friendly and professional.

The food is great every time I go. Tapas deal for restaurant week was definitely worth every penny. The staff recognise you when you go in and you get very efficient and friendly service. Well done to the young man with the black jacket working today for all his hard work and his constant smile 😊

Had a good experience here during restaurant week with multiple tapas dishes and a wide range of cocktails available. The service was pretty quick and the food was good for the money. Would return.

On July 22, we had our friend's hen party at this premises. The bride is an amazing person, a kind and beautiful soul and I wished to do something thoughtful and presented her with a beautiful headband with a veil for this occasion. On the day of the event, it was such an incredibly warm and joyful atmosphere. Everyone was having so much fun. 1 other hen party were with us in the hall where the activities took place. We were having an incredibly good time. Our teams and the barman seemed to merge and we were one! It was amazing! Suddenly, some girl from the neighbouring company attacked our bride, trying to rip her headband off her head. At that moment someone from our ladies noticed it and, trying to protect her, slightly pushed the attacker away. The manager of the place asked everyone to remove themselves from the venue, even though we had not touched(not counting minimum protection) or offended anyone. We each paid for the party celebration right in advance and we didn’t expect something like this can happen, there were over 20 people. The evening was ruined. I understand we cannot hold responsibility for the actions of strangers who by their actions ruined the party for us and themselves, but I feel guilty for presenting her with her that headband... Well, unfortunately, I would not recommend that place as the management of the place not only mischarge the situation in a fair manner but even did not apologise for the terrible action of their guests, who ruined the parties. You can ask them not to mix you with other hen do to prevent the disappointments though

Attended a booked for 3 hr Hen Party. Made to leave after 2 hrs due to their double booking of our section. Very poor attitude by all.

Nice venue for drinks and live music with a Cuban vibe, however a bit noisy for a meal, could barely hear each other talk. The food was good but nothing special. Average prices for a location in a city. The nachos were lovely, as were the belly pork skewers.

Jul 2023 Genuinely one of the most disorganised places I've ever eaten. I came with a large group who walked in on a Sunday morning. Toast was undercooked, eggs were over cooked, service was invisible despite plenty of staff wandering round aimlessly. We waited 45 mins for our food but others we were with waited for an hour and a half. We had to speak to the manager because service was so poor. Instead of listening to us he made excuses that they weren't expecting a large walk in party and they didn't have the staff. We pointed out if they kept us informed we wouldn't be so disappointed. After complaining to the manager we had to ask for something off the bill to reflect the poor service, the manager vanished and came back with less than 10% off.

Fun evening, with great host, learning to make cocktails, followed by lovely food. Such a laugh.

My friend and I had an excellent time, served by great staff and gorgeous food. Will definitely visit again next time I'm in Newcastle

Very busy but we went on a Saturday with lots of hen and stag dos We didn't have food and drinks were a little expensive so only stayed for 1.

Have been here on multiple occasions and it’s a great place for drinks. Lots of choice on the cocktail menu and all that I have tried have been delicious. Food is also nice and the tapas style dishes are great to nibble on while drinking.

Not a very impressive start to our bottomless brunch but the staff really turned it around and made the experience amazing! Myself and 2 friends travelled from Nottingham for a weekend trip in Newcastle, the brunch started with a 20/25 min wait for table and first cocktails despite booking a table. It was apparent there were some booking/table issues which they apologies for (they were super busy with her parties etc) The staff really looked after us after the initial wait as we started to feel really disappointed. The food arrived quickly after that and we were constantly supplied with cocktails and prosecco by the team. Thank you for turning it around for us we thoroughly enjoyed! ")

Very poor evening, staff weren’t interested, ordered two strawberry daiquiris which were far from the description, asked politely whether the drinks could be changed/altered, in response we were dismissed and ignored, very disappointing.

All drinks sampled were on the bitter side, needed a bit more sugar.

Attended for bottomless brunch and can't have any complaints whatsoever. Ordered the slow cooked shredded beef burrito for food and was thoroughly impressed. Flavours were plentiful and went down an absolute treat with the cocktails. Service was superb with our needs constantly attended to. Even had live music playing cover songs to cap off an overall very, very enjoyable experience.

Atmosphere was great but the overall smell of the place was one of needing a good scrub.

Love it here, food, staff, atmosphere is top class. Service is awesome, they know their cocktails so well. The beer is fresh and cold, the sun terrace is brilliant little sun trap.

We went to pay entry party on the top floor, it was ok. But the djs made the night. Not sure I would go unless there was good djs.

Went for the bottomless brunch. Got seated and served immediately. We had to preorder food the day before so it was already made and ready to serve. I went for the breakfast burrito and was disappointed. Very little to it and was quite bland. I had a few concerns about how often our drinks would be refreshed but I shouldn't have worried. We had to turn the server down a couple of times on her frequent visits to our table. Good selection of rum. Other than my choice in food it was an enjoyable visit.

Obviously some people, mainly young ones, don't mind very loud music, where they are happy to shout at one another. Being in the older generation bracket, my group prefer to have a conversation where we can all contribute. The art of conversation is not able to happen in Revolution de Cuba, but it was nice to see people happy to shout at one another. The staff were lovely.

Did the master class experience (her A2 course dinner afterwards). Kieran was a great host. Lots of fun games and drinks. Food afterwards was fab. Great value for money
