The best restaurants serving Other international-cuisines food in London

We were given this afternoon tea as a present. The menu for the afternoon tea looks good... but fails to deliver. "Mini brioche and sandwiches Ham, cheddar and mustard Chicken and pesto Cucumber, crème fraiche and smoked salmon Egg mayonnaise and cress." What we actually got was four very small squares of sandwich each, consisting of just the smoked salmon and the egg mayonnaise. Some small cakes as described and a scone. Some of the bread was not the freshest we've ever had, not stale, just not as soft as fresh bread. We were only offered one cup of tea or coffee. Every other afternoon tea we've had at other venues at least offered us additional drinks. It's not as if the place was busy, there were only a few occupied tables. As for atmosphere and ambiance, there was none, especially as the cleaner was hoovering around us and then using a floor polisher.

Excellent food here. If I say this up front, I know that I won’t forget to say it! Ask any ethnic foodie, and they will tell you that when they go out to eat food from their own ethnic heritage, the key thing they ask is whether the food they eat is better than they cook at home, whether it is tastier than Mum’s Sunday best, whether they can get the full restaurant experience. Roger’s kitchen ticks all of the boxes. Throughout the menu, there are modern twists and manifestations of traditional West Indian favourites. This should keep Caribbean heritage people happy! But the menu is targeted at food lovers from every ethnic group. Indeed, the seafood soup itself would have graced ‘The Ivy’. The starters are varied. The mains, fish, chicken, meat, flavoursome, perfectly cooked and excellently presented. The service is attentive. Roger’s kitchen is actually quite new, being on the site of a previous Caribbean restaurant, the Mango Room, but also now appears popular in its own right. We came to eat here as a family, we have been back with friends. And we will definitely be back again. Great food, great value. There is not an independent Caribbean restaurant in London that we would rather eat at. Roger’s Kitchen offers excellent modern Caribbean cuisine for the West Indian, British and International foodie. If you are travelling to London for a week, put Roger’s Kitchen on your “must eat here” list. 5 Stars.

Fantástica noche la semana pasada en Tropix. Las bebidas y la música eran geniales, el personal era increíble y realmente se preocupan por sus clientes - en la medida en que incluso me ayudaron a conseguir un taxi a casa al final de la noche cuando estaba teniendo problemas con Uber y el seguimiento para asegurarse de que había llegado a casa a salvo! ¡Muchas gracias a todo el equipo por buscar a una mujer varada sola! Recomendaría encarecidamente esta pequeña joya de Clapham.

¡Lugar increíble! Me gustó mucho la comida, el personal y el servicio. Los espectáculos fueron geniales, la comida era deliciosa y el personal era tan amable.

Ambos tuvimos sopa de tomate y para la red Fish and Chips (que estaba muy bueno) y espaguetis de atún boloñés (que estaba bien, pero no a mi gusto).

Excelente servicio y experiencia! Todo superó mis expectativas. El personal era increíblemente profesional y atento, asegurando que todas las necesidades estaban cubiertas. La calidad de los alimentos es sobresaliente, lo que refleja una clara dedicación a la excelencia.

I had onion soup which was good- waitress asked if wanted cheese and crouton which was appreciated. Would recommend visit- it is a No Bull Cafe [ie meatless]- will it get on the protean nmeat bandwagon like one of its neighbours. Was thursday night and not many tabels full

THE OWNER WAS NUTS!! I did not get a chance to taste the food, but a friend recommended it as take away . Whilst passing, my brother used the toilet (he failed to seek permission) the ‘owne’ pulled a kitchen knife in an attempted to deter from the toilets. When I explained that we were reviewing the menu and my brother was using the toilet. He became aggressive and suggested my brother was a physical threat. I reassured him that was not the case and we were about to order. Despite staff in the restaurant not wearing face masks. He continued to verbally abuse us. I have never been so embarrassed! Will never use this restaurant again!!

Acabo de llegar de Paradise Cove en 515 Wandsworth Road SW 8 4 NY. Pobre pobre pobre. El Ackee y pescado salado era agradable, pero no tenía sal en el pescado. Tuve que añadir sal después para probarlo. El Jerk Rice comenzó bien, pero después de un tiempo simplemente estaba caliente. El estofado de guisantes rojos Ital era suave, la cola de buey era sosa junto con el resto. F, , , , , Impactante. Lo único bueno fue su batido de ron. We were drawn in by the super cakes that were on display in the window. They were amazing. We went in and had coffee and cakes which we thoroughly enjoyed. The staff are extremely friendly and the space has a chilled, relaxing vibe. I’ll definitely be back with friends! love ❤️ Love 💕 Loved it ❤️💕 ⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️

Group of 12 friends and we were looked after very well. The food was delicious as everyone enjoyed the huge mixed platters that were ordered. We also tried the oxtail and curry goat. Prices are very reasonable compared to a lot of places for same or similar food. Definitely a place to try out and I will revisit with my family.

Me encantaba el café en el lugar. Agradable y fuerte Últimamente ya no es agradable. Lo intenté 3 veces durante el último mes y no volveré, ya que mi café con leche ahora sabe a leche tibia. Lo que haya cambiado, cámbielo de nuevo. Algunos de mis colegas también han dicho lo mismo.

Asia es una delicia absoluta para una camarera, nuestra comida tardó una hora en llegar, por lo que la cocina nos decepcionó, sin embargo, Asia tiene las habilidades perfectas de servicio al cliente y fue muy dulce tanto para mí como para mi amigo.

This is literally my partner and I's favourite restaurant in Central London. Fantastic food, service and vibe, and like nowhere else we've been. Just seen it's closing though? Devastated. :(
