The best restaurants serving Other international-cuisines food in Greenwich London

Honestly I thought twice about writing this review. It’s a local gem and I don’t really want it be swarmed with lots of people. But credit is due where credit is due. This place is amazing. Fantastic flavours, a delicious meal tonight. We come here often and have had maybe everything on the menu. It’s all excellent. It’s cosy, friendly and inexpensive. Plus BYO. This might be my favourite restaurant anywhere. 10/10- a definite recommendation.

Being gluten-free on a trip to London was hard, the tantalizing bakeries around every corner just looked and smelled so good. I stumbled upon Ruby by accident while meandering through the food area of Greenwich looking for something to eat, which I usually can't in food markets because of the gluten situation. Finding Ruby was a real treat for me. Not only are there many gluten-free options (most bakeries just have one if any) they were the best I've ever eaten. I got a salted caramel chocolate cupcake that I will remember for the rest of my life. The fact that it was all plant-based is pretty mind-blowing too, because the frosting was divine. I also got a piece of lemon/elderberry poppy seed cake which was insanely good. I also got a mushroom quiche to go for a quick snack which I ate a few hours later and wish I got more. Thank you Ruby for letting me have something sweet on my trip to London. (I gave the atmosphere 3 stars because there is no bathroom, so it was hard for us to hang out for too long. But I don't really blame them because all the people from the food stalls would use their bathroom.)

Tables are very close together and unfortunately I heard more of the conversation of the table beside me than my partners! Service was very good. Pricey for what you get foodwise.

Había escuchado tantas cosas buenas sobre los leones, así que estoy bastante desanimado al decir que llegó mi pedido y que estaba mal / cocido y cuñas que estaban mal cocidas. Las alitas de pollo eran rosadas. Todavía pedían un sándwich de jamón y queso cubierto de queso.

Best curried goat I've ever had! Even the rice and peas were perfect. Definitely my new favourite Caribbean take away. Even the delivery lady was friendly. Thank you!

Have eaten here when working in London and enjoyed it so thought I would take my wife whilst in London for a couple of days seeing a show and sightseeing. It yet again didn’t disappoint with the buffet food having a nice variety of dishes that were fresh and tasty. The meat etc that were distributed by the servers was of great quality and plentiful. That also had a great variety from different steaks, legs of lamb, sausages, chicken wrapped in bacon, pork loin and many more. Was glad of the walk back on the tube etc as had obviously eaten more than I needed. Was also reasonable value as just over £100 including drinks and the annoying 10% service charge.

I've no desire to hammer a restaurant for a single bad experience but from other recent reviews it seems we are not the only ones to suffer. I only wished I'd seen these reviews; I'd looked on Google where they are much more favourable (though, with hindsight, a recent 5-star review there now reads suspiciously). We booked for 8 people at 5.30pm, allowing plenty of time to relax before an 8pm show at the O2. I received an online confirmation, from Rico Sabor/Maracuya. When we arrived, the restaurant had no record of our booking. The explanation was something about 'two websites', which we didn't understand. No matter - the place wasn't busy. Our drinks order came relatively quickly, though one drink was incorrect. Again, no matter. We had booked expecting a Spanish restaurant, and we wanted to avoid the generic chains inside the O2. The menus offered were Spanish, Latino and... Ukrainian. Not what we'd anticipated. Again, no matter. We ordered 8 mains and a couple of side dishes from the Spanish/Latino selection. By 7pm no food had emerged. A couple of other tables arriving after us appeared to have received part of their orders. At 7.10pm, our first dish arrived - and it was wrong. A very harassed staff member promised 'five minutes'. By 7.20pm, two other main dishes and one side had emerged, of which another one was wrong. There was no sign at all of the other six main dishes. At 7.30pm, we abandoned, to join the queue at the O2 and grab something to eat inside. The staff member who spoke to us had passable English. None of the others appeared to speak more than basic English. Again, that's no problem providing they can take and execute a food order. One insisted they were 'very busy' - which was simply untrue. Another table abandoned as we had. Speaking to them outside, their experience was identical to ours. We suspect there is some sort of change of ownership going on here and a repositioning, perhaps to a fully Ukrainian restaurant. However, the Rico Sabor site is still taking bookings (is this the 'two websites' business?). This is a prime location and rent can't be cheap. If our experience is anything to go by, they simply won't survive. But unless they seriously up their game, they don't really deserve to.

Empezaré diciendo que este fue un intento aventurero de algo diferente y que no estábamos familiarizados con la cocina nigeriana de antemano. Así que no estoy seguro de si lo que experimentamos fue auténtico o no, pero ciertamente puedo decir que no fue agradable. Probamos algunos platos africanos, incluyendo Crain Crain, Okra y sopa de aceite de cacahuete y todos eran increíblemente aceitosos y tenían un sabor horrible, creo que los fhjs vinieron de la 'salsa de palma pil' todos los platos fueron descritos como servidos. El servicio era bastante lento y un bjt hit o miss pero principalmente miss. la lager tampoco era genial y una marca que no conocía (el Roma creo) que a £ 7 una pinta era muy caro por la calidad. Puede ser genial para algunas personas si se trata de una auténtica cocina nigeriana. Pero realmente no era para nosotros; tuvimos que parar en otro lugar en el camino a casa para obtener algo para quitar el sabor insípido!

Travelled up to the dome from Warwickshire for the weekend and stopped in at Moms Fabulous hotdogs while waiting to enter. Dark haired girl needs some training in customer service! Snapped at us for requesting stuff on the menu that were not in stock ( we arnt mind readers!! ) All dips out of stock, no soft drinks All she had to say when ordering was sorry we are out of dips and and coke but we do have drinks in the cooler. Absolutely embarrassing behaviour and we certainly will not be using this again.

En primer lugar, esto no es "Frango peri peri". A su llegada, está claro que es una tienda de pollo por debajo de la media llamada "Chick Inn". Para colmo de males, las pepitas tenían un sabor insípido, ¡casi como cartón masticable! Me alegro de haber probado y probado las pepitas antes de dárselas de comer a mis hijos. Por el precio que cobran, esperaría nuggets de pechuga de pollo, en cambio obtuvimos la basura altamente procesada que esperarías de un supermercado económico. Decidimos no darles este lío a los niños y poner la comida directamente en la papelera. Para agregar más insulto a la herida, las papas fritas estaban medio fritas esperando en la canasta sobre la freidora en la tienda y el tipo que servía tuvo la audacia de volver a freír las papas fritas y tirarlas en las cajas de comida. ¡Yo también lo pasé por alto! Pedí una comida de pollo a la parrilla peri peri (medio pollo con arroz). Para ser justos con la tienda, el pollo estaba medio decente. Estaba razonablemente condimentado pero todavía muy seco. Era comestible pero nada más que añadir. El arroz que venía con la comida era horrible. En el momento en que abrí la caja pude percibir un olor acre, el tipo que esperarías cuando el arroz está a punto de estallar. Debería haberlo sabido mejor, pero no pude resistirme a probar el arroz. Qué gran error. al igual que los demás alimentos hasta ahora, el arroz era suave, blando y sin sabor. Lo único positivo de esta comida fue la hamburguesa de pollo, la respuesta de la persona que la comió fue que estaba bien, pero dado que esta persona anticipaba que la lata de coca-cola helada no apareció, no fue una victoria. Tenía muchas ganas de que este lugar me impresionara, estaba desesperado por que demostraran que estaba equivocado cuando entré en la tienda y les pregunté por qué su tienda - el frente dice "Chick In" en lugar de "Frango" y todo lo que el tipo pudo decir fue un galimatías murmurando palabras.
