The best restaurants serving Other international-cuisines food in Chelmsford East of England

Had booked here for a bottomless brunch as a group of 3. From arrival, service was slow. We waited around a good few minutes waiting to be seen to. We visited on a Friday afternoon. It took a very long time to get drinks. Nearly every time we wanted a drink, we either had to join the queue at the bar (there were only one or two bar staff behind the bar, which is why there was always a queue). Or we had to stop waiters/waitresses as they were walking past, and even then, it took them ages to take our order and then deliver the drinks. The service was really poor and extremely slow. It wasn't busy, so there wasn't a reason for this. The poor service put a dampner on our bottomless brunch. We do not feel we got value for money for the price we paid. Therefore, we would not return here again. I do not recommend Turtle Bay for a bottomless brunch.

I always forget there is bone in the goat curry but it is amazing so I'll order it again and hopefully remember...

i was sat outside in the garden for barbeque and there was not a good selection, the chips were raw and the burgers were cold. serice was okay but when we told them about the food they never returned.the atmosphere was okay there was music and a kids area. and was not aloid to park in the parking spot

Amazing Sunday Dinner with really excellent service, such friendly staff. Myself and my two children all had the Combo Sunday Dinner, which meant a decent portion of each of the meats. Veg was lovely, especially the red cabbage and there was a nice selection of everything, without too much of just one thing...which I liked. Room left for the best apple and apricot crumble I've ever eaten! Going back for sure! P.S. I didn't use them but my son said the toilets were the best he'd seen!

Stayed on 2/11. Very good stay .Joined VIP club on our last visit and got a room upgrade due to this, a nice surprise on arrival .Lovely clean well appointed room (39). Staff were friendly and welcoming,special mention to Andrea and Natalie (who was only on her 2nd day there ). Breakfast was very good, im very critical of hotel breakfasts and this one was first class.The hot and cold selection was extensive and cooked breakfast was served hot and fresh. Didnt eat in the restaurant but enjoyed drinks in the bar .A very enjoyable stay and will be visiting again at the end of December

Very friendly staff and lovely, good sized food portions. We met friends there and found the atmosphere and the food superb. Nice airy restaurant too. A lovely experience, thank you.

Our usual chippy was closed so we thought we would give Robinson’s a try, what a mistake! £58 for a family meal (almost £6 for a portion of chips!) and so we were expecting decent food. It was cold (even the kids complained and they never moan!), the chips were old and dry, the fish was full of air rather than actual fish and the batter tasted of old, dirty oil. Even the gherkins - despite being £1 each - were ridiculously tiny and were all mushy. See photo with a TEASPOON for size comparison. Never again, we’ll stick to Golden Fry where our food is always hot, fresh and delicious!
