The best restaurants serving Other european-cuisines food in Warrington North West

A great weekend catch-up with friends started with a lovely Rioja in 'The Wine Kitchen' next door (under the same ownership), moving on to the comfy surroundings of 'Eighteen The Cross' for an early bird meal. From crispy Calamari, to generous and succulent Steak Frites, to perfect Espresso Martinis, I can safely say all were the finest examples I've enjoyed in a long while! Planning a return trip (we're half an hour's drive away) to this Cheshire gem soon and hoping the family like it as much as we did. Kudos to Michael, Christine and Head Chef Bradley!

We visited this restaurant as a party of 9 for the first time this weekend for a family meal for my husband's birthday. The choice of food is extensive, and all meals were amazing. The service is what makes this place stand out, it was absolutely exceptional. the staff went above and beyond on numerous occasions to ensure we all had anything we requested. This place is a little hidden gem, definitely worth a visit and we will 100% be returning!

We ordered a cake for my Nana’s 70th birthday we’d seen advertised on their website and sent the pic over when ordering asking for it to look like that and also asked for milk chocolate to be drizzled over the top instead of dark chocolate (dark chocolate was in the picture) because my nana or anyone else doesn’t like dark chocolate. My mum has picked the cake up and when she got home noticed it looks nothing like what we had asked for. There is no big bar of milk chocolate or kinder buenos on the top like pictured, instead there is big thin pieces of dark chocolate. It was also dark chocolate drizzled over the top which again we specifically asked for it to be milk chocolate. The response we get is that she “should have checked the cake before she left”??? And “it states that in their terms and conditions”? Why would my mum or anyone in fact feel the need to check the terms and conditions or even check the cake it’s self before leaving when we have sent over a picture of which cake we wanted and also specifically asked for certain things? If they couldn’t cater the cake we wanted we should’ve been told. We got offered to travel all the way back to Warrington going out of our way and wasting more of our time to take the cake back and get 50% back of what we payed? Which in no way benefits us because we’ve then got no cake and have lost 50%. To which I can guarantee they would then re-sell the cake and make more money. My mum had spoke to a lady over email and I then also messaged on Facebook because I wasn’t impressed with the response my mum got and I’ve been ignored on Facebook so I’ll post it on here instead. I understand no cake is going to be the exact same as one another but half of the toppings we asked for are different and especially the dark chocolate drizzle on top when we asked for it to be milk chocolate instead. The cake we got isn’t what we asked for and the staff have been in no way helpful or understanding

Looks nice on website and not bad in person, but the pics don't show how dirty the toilets are. The staff appear terrified of the owner, but can't blame them, he is obnoxious and very rude. Shan't be going back there

Had a lovely valentines meal food was delicious and hot , staff were attentive and friendly. Will definitely eat here again despite some negative reviews

Very disappointed. Cafe has recently been refurbished. However after waiting over 50mins for food. (Soft drinks unavailable). We then couldn't find a clean table to sit at. Plenty of tables empty as the queue was taking so long. But so many dirty tables that weren't useable. No staff members around at all to ask for a wipe/spray. Toilets were dirty with 3 not usable as well as a broken hand drier. The cafe used to be nice and quick but we will just head home next time.
