We ordered a cake for my Nana’s 70th birthday we’d seen advertised on their website and sent the pic over when ordering asking for it to look like that and also asked for milk chocolate to be drizzled over the top instead of dark chocolate (dark chocolate was in the picture) because my nana or anyone else doesn’t like dark chocolate. My mum has picked the cake up and when she got home noticed it looks nothing like what we had asked for. There is no big bar of milk chocolate or kinder buenos on the top like pictured, instead there is big thin pieces of dark chocolate. It was also dark chocolate drizzled over the top which again we specifically asked for it to be milk chocolate. The response we get is that she “should have checked the cake before she left”??? And “it states that in their terms and conditions”? Why would my mum or anyone in fact feel the need to check the terms and conditions or even check the cake it’s self before leaving when we have sent over a picture of which cake we wanted and also specifically asked for certain things? If they couldn’t cater the cake we wanted we should’ve been told. We got offered to travel all the way back to Warrington going out of our way and wasting more of our time to take the cake back and get 50% back of what we payed? Which in no way benefits us because we’ve then got no cake and have lost 50%. To which I can guarantee they would then re-sell the cake and make more money. My mum had spoke to a lady over email and I then also messaged on Facebook because I wasn’t impressed with the response my mum got and I’ve been ignored on Facebook so I’ll post it on here instead. I understand no cake is going to be the exact same as one another but half of the toppings we asked for are different and especially the dark chocolate drizzle on top when we asked for it to be milk chocolate instead. The cake we got isn’t what we asked for and the staff have been in no way helpful or understanding

I ordered a Harry potter cake and it was so far beyond what I expected and was so fresh and delicious. I actually am not a fan of birthday cake but since this cake I absolutely am, I cannot rate them highly enough. The level of detail that QBE into creating a spell book and snitch for the Harry litter theme was incredible. Thank you so much :)

Popped in here mid-morning for a coffee and bite after a dog walk. Sat outside with my four-legged friend who got a nice refreshing bowl of water given to her. The forest moss cake in here is absolutely lovely. TBH I have not tasted better anywhere - delicious!! Coffee great too. Will call in again.

Called in after visiting a local garage. Had an excellent coffee but a really nice piece of salted caramel cream cake. Very good portion size and reasonable price

Visited today for breakfast and drink of tea, also had a slice of chocolate slice which was very tasty. The bacon sandwich was also tasty with plenty of bacon. I also took a slice of white chocolate raspberry roll for the wife.

I found this shop online when looking for somewhere to make a birthday cake for my sister. I wasn’t quite sure what to expect as I had never used this shop before, however they did an amazing job and it was exactly what I asked for (if not better)!! The cake looked and tasted great. The staff where really quick replying to my queries by email and were lovely and polite when I visited the shop to pick it up. Would definitely recommend and will use again for future cakes.

😡SCAMMERS😡 I ordered a birthday cake for my nephew's birthday which was chosen from their website. All the details like the look, taste, size, things we wanted to be on the cake including the message and name, etc. were expressed clearly and the picture of what I wanted was shown to the girl who took the order. She reassured me and said that I would get the birthday cake that would look like the one on the picture I showed her and with all my special requests. Being not able to collect it myself my family member went to collect it and what we got was a half of the cake that was ordered and paid for, the cake itself didn't look anything like the cake on the picture, decorations and message on the cake were completely different then what was ordered. The taste was horrible and too sweet, like if you were eating pure sugar. One of the family member threw up after eating that cake. Went to make complain and got shouted at by that nasty, abrupt and horrible girl who is a liar and has no good manners whatsoever and her mother too. No customer should be treated that way. They do not know what a good customer service is. No respect to own customers! Never admitted to their own mistakes, never apologised, never offered any refund. When I mentioned that some kind of refund as a good will would be appreciate they both laughed me off which was very humiliating. Not only I was scammed but ripped off. I would like to make others aware of them SCAMMERS so no one else would be scammed and ripped off. BE AWARE 😡😡 SCAMMERS 😡😡 AWOID 😡😡

This is an awesome little place and well worth a visit if you're in Latchford. They cater for all sorts of dietary requirements and will also make cakes to order too. I was well impressed.

Went into this shop on the 17th October to order a 50th birthday cake for 21st December but was told that there wasnt enough notice given. Didnt realise cakes took that long to make, never mind, found somewhere else that could do it. Gentlemen behind the counter was friendly enough but wish they’d wrote on there web page how much notice has to be given, would have saved meself a wasted trip.

You wouldn’t say much from the out side of the shop but they make fantastic cakes. My birthday cake was in a shape of my bike and was so fresh and very tasty. Only thing is had to place the order well in advance as my wife said other wise they cant take the order.

If you want a cake then you must get one from here. I was so made up with how it looked and it tasted amazing. Everyone commented on it. The owner and staff are also lovely. Really deserve to do well. Coffee and cake are also mega in the cafe. Well done xx

I had ordered a birthday cake for the wrong day ! It should have been a day earlier.However the young man and his mother(the baker) pulled out all the stops to deliver it to the restaurant in time for our evening celebration ! Can't thank them enough! The cake was delicious-a lovely light sponge with fresh cream,looking exactly like its web image.

Stopped off for quick coffee after long walk .very little else open Very friendly welcome .unusual but lovely cakes all made locally Great chap serving didn't get his name but he was very nice .we visited on 2nd Jan.quite near to closing bit no issue couldn't have been more accommodating.we have recommended to the friend we came to see who lives nearby so hopefully they wi visit soon

Called in late in the day for a cup of coffee, greeted by very friendly young man behind the counter. Cakes looked amazing. Cafe extremely clean. Was offered a cake sample which was delicious! Will definately be returning and highly recommend.

I ordered a toy story themed birthday cake for my 2 year old granddaughter, and initially It seemed ok, not great but ok for a 2 year old . I picked the cake up on the 18th of August 2018 for the next day ( Sunday 19th ) at a cost of £43 ,,, not a kings ransom but expensive enough . Unfortunately when I checked the cake on Sunday morning the little fondant toy story character on top of cake was destroyed !!!! The head had fallen of the body !!!!! I would add that the overall design of the figure was poorly designed, the head is very very heavy on top of a very delicate body !!! Plus the overall weight of the figure has coursed the cake to sink !!!!! All in all a total disaster!!!!!!! Plus at such a late hour I can’t get another cake unless I want a cheap supermarket one .... I would recommend avoiding this shop for any kind of celebration cake because they simply can’t handle them !!!! My cake was probably one of the simplest types of birthday cake possible and they still cocked it up !!!!!!!! Well to the owners of this shop I would like say thank you for spoiling my granddaughters birthday !!!!!

The cakes offered in Monias are amazing! They are very tasty and they are very generous with their servings, perfect for sharing. It's a lovely little coffee shop and the staff are really friendly.

I’ve nipped in twice now both with a last minute panic for a birthday/anniversary gesture!!

Popped in for a cappuccino and snicker cake .Gorgeous. I usually have the coffee cake that tastes like tiramisu.Give it a try and you will be like me thinking why did i go past without trying it sooner.

Popped in today to pick up 3 pieces of cake for an after tea treat. Upon entering I received a warm & friendly welcome. The cakes in the glass cabinet all looked fantastic but I chose the chocolate orange cake. The baked cheese cake is going to be my next purchase when I next visit. The cake smells deliciously orange. The chocolate is thick & sticky. The buttercream is generously applied & the sponge moist. I highly recommended Monia’s cakes to eat it or take away.

I visited thos cake shop with my wife and we spend lovely time in there. Nice big and rich cakes with great looking as well, nice coffee. We felt really comfortable in this place. Staff was friendly. Just little shame is they did not available have juice which are on menu. Any we strongly recommend thi cake shop.

My friend has been raving about this lovely little café/cake shop so decided to try it today and I wasn't disappointed. Bought some Angels' wings which were to die for and such a lovely young man behind the counter, who I believe is Monia's son. So nice to be served by someone who was polite and caring. Hope they go from strength to strength.

Just had a slice of the baked cheese cake, can honestly say the best I have had in my life. So nice to see a local business with quality products. Everyone in Warrington should go to this place...keep it up guys.

We called in for a coffee and ended up having a cake as well. The shop was clean and well presented. Seating inside for 12. The lattes were lovely, we chose the honey cake, the cake was very good. This is a newly opened cafe/cake shop. We will definitely be coming back. Very reasonable too!

Absolutely lovely little cafe. Very pleasant and welcoming gentlemen being the till. Very clean and modern. Lots of options for cakes and teas etc. We had a cake each and tea. I had the snickers cake and my partner the chocolate cake. We then shared a cream horn because they looked so fresh and delicious and that they were. Stunning cakes! We would definitely recommend. Children were welcomed also, which was lovely! Brilliant addition to Latchford village!!! ☺️ We will definitely return

Very approachable and friendly staff and the cakes/drinks are spot on would advise anyone to pop in and give it a try, you will not be disappointed.
