The restaurant is only serving cakes and drinks. No hot food for the foreseeable future due to refurbishment. Wasted journey for us.

Don’t bother long queues which I didn’t mind but what I did mind was for the 2nd time only 1 cashier on the till so food completely cold when you found a clean table in the dining all, I reported the unacceptable state of the dining hall to a member of staff but to be honest you would of been better talking to the wall, when I say the dining hall was unacceptable I was referring to the tables what where empty 99% of them were littered with food on the table on the chairs and all over the floor I won’t be going again….. zero rating for Hygiene and a rats paradise Be warned people

Be Warned, this place stops serving breakfast at 11am exactly. We got in the queue at 10.45 and when we got to the front they shut down the service. No breakfast, and there were other people behind us.

Meh. Cheap and cheerful. Went to buy furniture for the house (obviously) that's what everyone goes for. The chocolate is great and the biscuits are unreal but the actual hot food is just cheap and cheerful. Can't complain

I recently had the most disheartening and frustrating experience at IKEA Warrington, one that starkly highlights a grave lapse in the quality of customer service that one would expect from a brand of such repute. I approached the customer service desk with a simple request for a refund, an issue that should have been resolved swiftly and with minimal fuss. Instead, what I encountered was a staff that not only lacked the basic tenets of customer service but also exhibited an arrogance and dismissiveness that escalated a simple matter into an unnecessary confrontation. It is utterly appalling that in a customer-facing role, the staff at IKEA Warrington would choose to be not just unhelpful but outright abusive towards customers. Their behavior was not only unprofessional but also indicative of a disturbing lack of empathy and understanding. To be met with such arrogance and to have a straightforward issue turn into an argument speaks volumes of the dire need for a significant overhaul in their customer service training and attitude. I am deeply disappointed and shocked at the level of disdain shown towards customers. This experience has not only soured my view of IKEA Warrington but has also made me question the values and customer service ethos that IKEA purports to uphold. It is imperative that this matter be addressed with the utmost seriousness and that significant measures are taken to ensure that no other customer has to endure such an appalling experience. The staff in question should be held accountable, and a thorough review of customer service practices at IKEA Warrington is urgently needed to prevent such incidents in the future.

Food is fine here but the people serving have one speed , slow! No matter how big the que,poor management, all look like they dont want to be there

very long que. One person serving who wasn't that friendly. Last Fish left was dried out. Nothing else was available , only chips or pasta. Very poor and not the value for money it used to be .

Usually have a great experience here but today was really poor. Food in the restaurant was half cold when we got to our tables - especially the mushy peas. Air con on full blast in the restaurant didn’t help. Went to grab a snack at the end of the small cafe section. Awful service - grabbed 2 teas and the staff turned the machine off at 9. We were standing around for about 10 minutes thinking it was just cleaning but it was actually a full clean and power down, when the cafe was full of people. Had to ask for a refund only for the staff to find it highly amusing the machine was off, no apology for the inconvenience and then had to call another member of staff to issue a refund. I understand wanting to get cleaned up and leave early / on time but cleaning up around us and turning machines off well before close isn’t good customer service. Not had a bad experience here before but this was very inconvenient. Would consider the Manchester store in future.

How can you cook pasta with tomato sauce containing chili and black pepper and offer it as a CHILDREN'S MENU? Poor children, this is a dish for adults and only extremely healthy people who eat it every day. It is need to change the menu for CHILDREN!

Tasty food at very reasonable prices. The meatballs here can’t be beaten for the price. The restaurant is located about half way through the store so great for a break away from shopping.

Nothing better than a stressful massive circuit around ikea getting stuck in sections you have no business in - THEN the meatballs , gravy , chips and peas . Marvellous ! Best bit of the experience ❤️

First visit for a while, meatballs as good as ever and price seems to have come down considerably ? reasonable as it use to be, also now offered peas. They do however need to sort some type of menu as we saw items available that were not advertised

IKEA food is meant to be cheap and convenient, and it’s both. If you go to IKEA, you usually always end up with meatballs or a hotdog, both a common regular seen thing in Sweden, meatballs are served in every restaurant, and hotdogs are on every street corner. I’ve been to this restaurant more times than I care to remember, the food is average, but acceptable, clearly people enjoy it as you queue for ages, so usually by the time you have reached your table your food is cold, but you still eat it because it’s still good, and lets be honest you can’t go to IKEA without having something to eat! You can’t eat or enjoy meatballs without the much needed lingonberry jam and cream sauce, personally I get chips in IKEA, but at home I only serve real meatballs with mash potato, and real Svenska Köttbullar are much better than the ones IKEA sell, sorry IKEA... The good points of IKEA’S restaurant in Warrington is, it’s clean, there is a lot of seating, toilets, including an accessible disabled one. There is somewhere to leave your trolley and the food is cheap. I am sure I'll visit many more times!

Quick and tasty… a little cold by the time we had paid and sat down! We all had the meat balls and chips or potato.

The food here has become awful. The chips were hard, dry and cold. The meatballs and gravy tasteless. The choice of food is abysmal and the service customer service isn't great either, food just slopped onto the plate . It used to be really nice and we used to enjoy a visit to the restaurant during a shopping trip but we just wouldn't bother again. Disappointed with you ikea.

Fast and inexpensive lunch. We were driving from Broadway to the Lake District and needed a fast stop just off the highway to eat and keep on. IKEA was the answer. Price-wise, this was a great choice. They were doing some sort of student discount for summer and my kids ate for less than a pound each. However, they were out of a lot of their food, so we all had to compromise on our meal options. Anyway, it was a fast and inexpensive stop!

Called at Warrington store yesterday at about 9:45 am and decided to have a breakfast before shopping. What a bad idea that was, it had to be the worst cooked breakfast I have ever had. Bacon was rock hard but still managed to have large amounts of uncooked fat on it, egg was like rubber, sausage and beans where tastless and the tomato was so hard it was inedible. I didn't expect much for the price but it made Wetherspoons basic breakfast look fabulous.

Called at ikea cafe for meatballs and absolutely gutted to be told they don't serve loganberry sauce with meatballs any more, life will never be the same again

Nothing like it used to be. Very poor selection. What there is available is very cheap however. Luke warm everything. My experience of IKEA today was from start to finish not good but that was the store not the cafe. Far from impressed. Amazingly a lovely day and the store including cafe very empty?? One wonders.

Possibly the worst breakfast ever ! Tomato not even cooked and the veggie sausage 😳🤮.By the time you have paid and got your drink from a machine your food is stone cold 🙄. Even the latte was luke warm . All in all a shocking experience never to be repeated 🤦‍♀️

Ikea has always been busy, particularly at weekends, but getting something to eat gets worse every time we go, as does the food. Be warned when you do eventually get served your food is already only luke warm, then you queue again to pay, so by the time you start eating your food it has gone cold. You could always choose to get a hotdog instead but again long queues await you. They need to increase serving staff at both or open additional dining areas

Very busy at the restaurant so the waiting time in the queue was around 25 minutes. Food arrived at the table Luke warm but, in the baby food preparation section they have a microwave 😉 so 1 minute later food was at a good temperature.

The young man serving me walked off half way through my order, I thought he'd gone off to get me the side order I asked for, but no, he'd gone off altogether. The woman serving the next customer eventually realised and took over my order...

Further visit to one of our family favourites. Tried the new menu item of ribs this time - very tasty I have to say. Nice cooked, nearly falling off the bone, good marinade. Fries good as always. Even though great service and fab food it’s a shame the queue took ages to go down. The staff were working hard but I think more staff helping to serve the food would have helped. It wasn’t even peak time! I like that there is a lot of room to dine with comfy chairs too.

We came for a quick breakfast before shopping on Sunday 17th November around 10:30am. The queue was a bit long but we waited and it went quite fast. A lovely lady (Joanna I think) opened up her till for us so we weren’t waiting long to pay, she was so polite and friendly. The tables were so clean in the seating area and everything stocked up. The food was nice and then a lovely girl named Charlotte (she had an American accent) offered to take our trays for us when we had finished and then helped us with a few questions we had about where we needed to go in the store, she was so friendly and polite. Would come back again to this service!

Advertising food that wasn't available to eat, sloppy lazy service, unable to tell the difference between a fully grown adult with facial hair and a child when it comes to adding cider to the bill and served cold food (picture includes their gourmet veggie lasagne). Utterly crap restaurant filled with incompetent people, would not recommend this to rats as scraps.

Yet another visit for lunch to this cheap restaurant!! Excellent chicken wellington - definitely worth another visit. This time the food was far better than previous so very happy and the price was excellent.

Terrible quality. We arrived at 20.55 and the food was still being served, although the lights on the heaters were being switched off. We ordered our food, paid, sat down and it was cold, dried up and very poor quality.

Tasty value for money but very slow service at times. Breakfast is a must do on a Sunday before the main store opens.

Busy as ever, lots of people moving through. Went to the right side just after 12. Lady who was serving had a great way with people. Hopefully management read this and will feed this back as she really did shine. I had the vegetable biryani which looked dry but was great.

Warrington ikea restaurant is nice , airy and spacious, whenever we go to ikea we always go in there for a bite to eat and coffee, the staff are friendly helpful and polite,

Ikea has launched a six-piece full English breakfast with free coffee for £1.75 if you have an IKEA Family card. Can't be beat.

We love shopping in IKEA due to the diversity of products and the reasonable price, we also love the restaurant. Like usual unless we purchase the breakfast, we ordered the meatballs and mash, they are amazing! It is always very busy in the restaurant but no wonder as the food is great quality and the price is low. We have a family card so our tea and coffee was free with our meal. We always leave space for an ice cream from the fast food counter in the foyer and again this is a huge hit with us as for 70p you get a massive ice cream, sauce and a chocolate flake.

You can't go to IKEA cafe and not have meatballs. Had them for lunch the 10 size portion and enjoyed with the gravy. Large cafe and reasonable prices.

Me and my two daughters went to visit IKEA we decided to go into the restaurant for something to eat A bit pricey the food is absolutely fantastic especially the gravy very clean very friendly staff can’t do enough for you. Plenty of room inside the café

Nice food and good value especially if your an Ikea family member. Had the breakfast which was nice but not the best ever, they did not have sausages available which was not great, but extra bacon was given as a replacement.

1 regular breakfast, 1 bacon roll, 2 different cheesecakes (don't judge), two coffees, two cold drinks and bits for the baby all for just under a tenner. The bacon was thickly sliced and very tasty. Hash browns are great. Plenty of room in the seating area. Look, it's a canteen, so don't expect miracles, but it does the job very nicely.

We both fancied a long walk looking at random items of furniture alongside household items that we didn’t realise we could do without. We had followed the yellow brick road around the store & finally reached the restaurant where we both had the fish & chips.

It was a quiet night when I last visited IKEA which was really a nice change, I choose something different this time, a step away from the usual meatballs to a Chicken Kiev. Service was fast and efficient, value for money as always second to none. With my family loyalty card in hand I purchase two meals with drinks and muffins for around £11.00 - what a bargain. Great experience.

Haven't been for a while, but its still very good. £1.50 for three pieces or £3.00 for 2 sausage, 2 bacon, 2 hash browns, omelette, beans,and tomato. Staff are friendly place is clean, tea and coffee are refillable, pip organic drinks are a hit with the kids. Plus the cakes and lunch menu are still good too. Overall, hard to find a cheaper better quality breakfast, only problem is they stop selling early, but you can arrive before the shop opens and get ready for the long walk around inside. The only downside is that tea and coffee is now .50p in the week, when it used to be free to, ikea card holders, but its still great value. You cant argue about .50p, well, not too much anyway.

The meatballs and mash are always a nice lunch especially with the Swedish gravy. The desserts are good too. The best thing is the value which is excellent. Slightly let down by the drinks and the lack of sugar freee options.

Went for a heavy scran with the fella. Qued up as you do. Was a bit confused about which isle i needed to be in to get food. A staff member approaches me.with the snottiest remark something along the lines off. Not serving anyone anymore thats whilst the signs there love. Was livid about the attitude needs sorting. However still ended up with a heavy scran.

What a let down. We have to drive 1 hour 20 minutes to get here. We thought we'd have something to eat before starting our shop.

I can't remember the last time we ate at Ikea - certainly not since they kitted out the restaurant. My wife and I went to buy some furniture but we hadn't had anything to eat, so we called by the restaurant. I had the fish and chips. The chips were fine but the fish was disgusting. It was really mushy and I suspect it was cooked from frozen. My wife had some veggie balls, which were a bit better. Never again!

So I went in on Saturday (day before Easter) about half two to get some dinner with my cousin, we both agreed that we felt like we were a nuisance to the staff, they were serving us while shouting chatty conversation across the counter to their friends. Very rude and didn’t say thank you just handed the plate while looking at there mate.

Heard a lot about Ikea meatballs so whilst we were there I thought why not, wish we hadn’t bothered, unseasoned bland chunks of minced whatever it was, gravy was equally bland. Great shop, laid out clearly and stylishly. Always new and innovative designs and ideas at a very affordable price. Always find something fun in there! AND NOW SELL VEGETARIAN HOT DOG!

Always call in the restaurant in any idea but I must admit this wasn't up to its usual 5star review. Edible but not remarkable.

The vegan food is over cooked not so delicious. But it’s ok the price is very cheap and the Semla/coffee buns is good.

After a wait in a queue for fifteen minutes the food was served by a guy who threw it onto a plate. The gravy on the meatballs looked like it had been squeezed out of a dog. And the meatballs didn't taste much better. I paid for coffee, but the checkout person didn't give me a token. As I'm disabled, I had to walk painfully back to the till to get one. Then it was a three quarter filled cup of tasteless foam.

I reckon the member of staff that served us got her skills while serving at the canteen in one of HM Prisons.

went shopping with my friend we hit the cafe first of course took a long time to get served but boy it was worth it how do they do them famous meatballs !!!!! Delicious we both had them plus cake and a hot drink all under £10.00 then it was off shopping with the biggest full tummy but worth every penny and a great experience going around the shop something for everyone.

We visit here at least once a month for the Swedish Meatballs which we love. Although often very busy, there are 2 queue’s and you’re never waiting for long. Ample seating, Helpful staff and refillable drinks. Excellent value for money.

Often call here for a bite or a drink but this time it was not that good. The store was very empty as was the restaurant and this didnt help as the food was decidedly cool. Not good and had lost its sparkle. It is very cheap but I think quality is more important. A bit disappointing this time.

I came to ikea on Saturday 12th January for some bits and bobs to get myself out of the house. Upon arrival I decided to get some breakfast and the staff could not have been any more helpful! I have a disability which means I need to use a mobility scooter, when I ordered, a nice young man helped me and took my tray over to the counter where I paid, he was very friendly! From there a young lady with lots of tattoos on her arm helped me to the seating area, she was lovely and chatty, she helped me to get a coffee and carried my tray over to a table with enough room for my scooter. Give them my thanks again, and well done IKEA, you have some great staff. Also for anyone wanting a breakfast I would highly recommend ikea as they are cheap and tasty. Thanks again

Was most disappointed with my food today had fish and chips lukewarm food which is not really acceptable, but because it was so busy didn't want to have to que up again.dirty tables and staff standing around asked someone to clean table but did it ourselves as we had to wait do long. Last time we went at the weekend the service and food was much better.

Visited the Store, looking for a bargin in the Sales. We had already decided to go to the restaurant for Food. The kids were happy with Meatballs (as always) and the kids offer is really good. Free fruit and vegetable sticks. We had the Chicken Meal. Great value and food was hot.

We ordered meatballs and chips. No vegetables included in meal as you have to pay extra and only peas. Meatballs were nothing special and chips were bog standard frozen variety , not the best. Food was lukewarm. Quite expensive and poor value for money, really unappetising. Further down the road is a Subway and Harvester was sorry we did not dine there instead. Would not recommend Ikea food.

After visiting Bents Garden Centre we decided to go to Ikea for another shopping spree but upon arrival we took the opportunity to dine in their restaurant. We selected a variety of dishes from meatballs to fish and chips with drinks for 5 of us came to around £24.00. Not bad considering the food is very tasty for this type of fast food restaurant the only thing I am surprised about is that they don’t serve mushy peas with their fish and chips maybe it’s how the Scandinavians eat their fish and chips

Always enjoyed Ikea, often call in when pasing for the meatballs, but just a warning, for those of us who pay contactless to check the actual cost, I called in for breakfast, nice breakfast and very good value, normally, but on this day I had a regular breakfast with coffee, using the family card this should be £2.50, just recieved my card statement and I was charged £7.75 . I am sure this was an honest mistake, but it is a wake up call to check the amount charged, and also to take a reciept.
