The best restaurants serving Other european-cuisines food in England

Popped in for some late afternoon food and to avoid the weather. Staff were so friendly and attentive. Value for money was really good and tasty. The atmosphere was a little quiet for us but not in a bad way. Thank you so much for the food and hot drinks!

Lovely little restaurant. Food is really good. A bit far away from us so it's just a special occasion place but if we lived nearer we would go on a regular basis.

OH WHAT A TRAGEDY! THIS WAS A FAVOURITE GO TO RESTAURANT AND WE HAD SPECIAL OCCASIONS HERE TOO. SUPERB FOOD, ATMOSPHERE AND SO ON, AM VERY SAD IT IS NO LONGER. CAN SOMEONE TAKE IT OVER PLEASE AND BRING IT BACK?

Excelente comida, éramos un grupo grande yendo a comer temprano antes de ir a la Vieja Lana y estábamos sentados arriba. La comida era deliciosa y el servicio era excelente - habíamos oído que las porciones principales son grandes, así que simplemente compartimos algunos houmoush y babaganoush para empezar, así que trabajado un muy razonable £ 35 p/cabeza con bebidas - lo recomendaría encarecidamente.

Probably the best Fish restaurant in Sidmouth. The moment we entered the restaurant and received a warm welcome from the front of house staff we knew we were in for a treat. From the starters through to the excellent main courses (Whole Plaice and Fillet of Hake) the food was sublime. The quality of Neils food preparation and cooking was sublime. I met Neil afterwards to thank him in person for the high quality evening he and his staff provided.

A fantastic experience, trying the signature menu. Consisting of 6 dishes which were all delicious and interesting. Staff were friendly and informative about the dishes. Would recommend, great for an occasion.

I love it here, a great selection of Belgian beers and other drinks. Excellent Belgian themed food (superb fries and lovely mayonnaise). Nice atmosphere and good table service. I try to call in every time I go to St Ives, even if it's only for a swift 1/3.

Second visit in a couple of months. Food is so flavoursome, it’s great to be able to try the different dishes rather than have a plate of food. Staff are knowledgeable of the food they are serving and make suggestions of things that go well together. Beetroot & goats cheese a favourite, hummus - delicious 😋 Will certainly be back for more and keen to try the new brunch menu. Well done team L’al 😃

Great food , friendly staff and well priced

Loved everything from the food down to the decor. The guy that served us was great. Only slight issue is that the main course felt a little thin on the ground and more like a starter in terms of portion size. Still tasted great and would definitely go back again x

We popped in for Saturday lunch and chose the 5 course Spanish tasting menu. Fabulous combination of tastes and textures, loyal to Spanish cuisine but with a modern touch. Service was attentive and at the perfect pace. Portion sizes were also well thought through. Enough to enjoy each course, but not so much that we became full before the last course. Thank you.
