We have been using the Swedish Kitchen in Wellingborough for a while and have never been disappointed. The food is amazing and the portions are huge. Do not be fooled into thinking this is a burger van. It is so much more. Good value and superb quality. Sadly, the secret is out and they are now very busy. Pleased to say though, the quality has not suffered for this. My personal fave is chicken plate.... or the viking burger.

Excellent portion sizes and something for everyone. We always build our own rolls and they never disappoint. Their seasoning can be found on all their food and it is delicious!!

Our first time visiting and it definitely won't be our last. The ladies working in the food truck at Rushden were so kind and friendly. The food was brilliant, we thoroughly enjoyed our Swedish hotdog and veggie breakfast. The price is brilliant and the portion size is really good. The food is made fresh but quickly. Overall a fantastic place and we can't wait to try more of the menu on our next visit.

Excellent fulfilling first visit to this new pop up scoff up on Northampton Road, Wellingborough. We tried Swedish Hash and Viking Burger Meal. £16. Generous portions and nicely seasoned. Lovely sweet beetroot salad on the side. Friendly staff, helpful explanation on the phone to take our order. Ready very quickly. They allowed us to bring our own food collection boxes. Recommend for you to try. We will return for more.

Situated in the industrial estate close to the Rushden Lakes we visited this cracking little business earlier today. The menu, which is on their website,is varied and ranges from excellent hamburgers to hot dogs pizzas and salads too. The gentleman serving told us it was the businesses 5th birthday and they now offer a home delivery service which we may have to try out. Our food was excellent, I had a long fried chicken baguette which would have fed 2 people whilst my daughter had a bacon cheese burger. Excellent fast food and a little hidden gem. Visited 11th July 2020.

We were led to believe this was above average - ho hum... Service, whilst friendly, was slow. Finding a wine list took some 20 minutes. After another reuest when it arrived it was crumpled and stained. As it was warm night we decided to eat outside - tables could have done with a good wipe, and the floor had obviously not seen a sweep for some time - cigarette ends all over the place. Menu was nothing more than average selection of pub food, and from arrival to food arriving took one hour. On the plus sign - food was hot, and acceptable, portion size - substantial. (No need for a starter.)

We stayed here on two occasions, in our campervan to the rear of inn. Quiet and good location. We enjoyed a nights sleep during both our stays. The staff at the inn are fabulous, welcoming and friendly and the owners are really doing a great job. The food was delicious and the ambiance of the inn was just what you’d hope for, log fire burning in the hearth, dog friendly and lots of positive chatter. I’d recommend this as a stopover and eatery.

Me and my husband arrived at the restaurant with our 6 month old for my sisters 18th birthday meal, we have been here on numerous occasions and have always enjoyed our time here, however this time was different. My mother had booked a table for 6 people and a baby , which was accepted over the phone, when we turned up we were greeted very rudely by a staff member , who pointed out children are not to be in the restaurant past 6 o clock, the lady then stated that this information is ‘plastered’ over the website, however when looking on the website there was nothing stating this, or certainly not ‘plastered’ all over it. I do understand rules are rules and I respect that, however the tone in which this information was delivered was very rude, it was almost as if we had brought in a disease, I really feel these rules need to be made more clear. Following this myself and my family left. We then headed over the road to the Duke of wellington where we were accommodated excellently by polite friendly staff , they even moved chairs around for us. We had a lovely meal , the food was so tasty, cheese board was great, worth every penny. We will not be returning to the love of wine, however the Duke of wellington we definitely will be.
