Great quality food inspired by Eastern Europe. Variety of good salads and starters with really tasty mains. I'd highly recommend this friendly and welcoming restaurant.

What an amazing find. Came across the place by accident in day time and came back a few nights later to eat. We booked ahead, got a very warm welcome and had a superb evening. A small, intimate place, lovely atmosphere, attentive and friendly staff. Background music not too loud. We both had pork medallions in cheese and mushroom sauce, cooked and served in clay pots. Plenty of food and piping hot. Food is freshly cooked to order so be patient, it is worth the wait. Definitely recommend and will be back. Wine reasonably priced too which was a pleasant change.

I had been waiting for a visitor so I could go and try this restaurant out.. They post regularly on the local FB page and it always looks fun and busy. Although I went on a lunchtime as my friend was only visiting for the day. The place was quiet with only a few other diners in. I really wanted to enjoy the food, but it is quite ‘standard’ and not very exciting. (I had the kofte patties, which basically were cheap Lidl type similar to the German frikadellen. It came with chips which although frozen, were very good.) My friend had moussaka from the lunchtime deal menu, (£9.99 for two dishes, soup starters and choice of mains, although on our visit several were not available.) Her dish was at least home made and looked very good. The service was excellent and our hosts wanted to make sure we had a good time. I loved that it was quiet after all on our visit and we enjoyed the ambience of this East European Restaurant. The décor is in keeping with their theme. I am sure if I went another time and wanted to join in a party I would be welcome. (But just not sure about having a sit down meal here again.)

Great food, friendly service from this family run Bulgarian bistro. Lots of familiar Dishes together with authentic Bulgarian specialities if you are feeling more adventurous. Everything that we had was hot and tasty and reasonably priced. Definitely worth a return visit.

Well, I can't quite believe we had never been to this total gem of a restaurant, probably because it's in Bognor but, don't let that put you off! From the moment we walked in, we were greeted warmly by Rado and looked after wonderfully throughout the whole evening. Rado took time to explain about the different dishes and how they would traditionally be eaten with which accompaniments. You need to be hungry when you visit - the portion sizes are extremely generous but the food was just beautiful. We will definitely be back!

Firebird is a lovely place for both good food and friendly staff . We weren’t rushed and had a great chat with the owner. Food was cooked to order and very tasty. Also plenty of it .

Sea side cafe open all year with guests prepared to sit out at tables by the sea all year long, even though there is heated covered seating outdoors (but not sea view) and indoors. Which speaks to its popularity with locals attracted by its high quality food at fair prices. Really busy in summer but still busy in winter unless it’s really wet and blowy. As an area resident I go all year, and am happy to do so.

I went for dinner with my sisters as a Christmas trwat to eachother. The service was brilliant as was the food. The range of vegetarian dishes were fantastic and what I really liked was the range of dishes that could also be gluten free and vegan! We shared some starters, the calamari was perfectly cooked (not greasy), the waitbait was large in size and the halloumi wasn't squeaky. I had the Hungarian mushroom stew which was absolutely delicious. My sisters had the beef burger and confit duck leg which they said was really good too. For pudding, we shared the cottage cheese doughnuts (we were intrigued, and they were honestly fantastic). I would also highly recommend the Hungarian white wine. We will definitely be returning!

People seemed nice and it was good we could take our dog in. I ordered fillet of fish on its own as I have a gastric bypass but the fish and batter was so soggy, I was worried it had been warmed in the microwave so only had one mouthful as I was afraid I was going to be ill. The hot chocolate were nice but not enough for us to come back, sorry
