Our go too place We live local and often visit We avoid going if we see a very unpleasant member of staff Older lady long hair in ponytail . She rude unwelcoming and we’re at a loss of why she’s still there. Everyone knows she bully’s .

We were walking from Elmer to Bognor & walked straight past this place, thinking it was another coffee shop. We stopped for a beer in Bognor & read up about where to eat & this place came up, so we walked back & it was a busy Sat lunchtime, but despite every table inside being taken, we sat outside & before my husband even got back from the bar, they had offered me a table. The food was plentiful and delicious & the staff lovely & friendly.

Took my daughter here for lunch. The fish and chips was the freshest I have had in a long time, nice side salad and home made sauce. My daughter had the lobster tails and prawn sandwich. Service was the right pace, staff friendly and a nice choice of seating, inside, open under cover or outside. I’d definitely be back again.

We popped in without a reservation for an evening meal with our dog. The service was great and the waiting staff couldn't have been more helpful or welcoming. The Lobster Pot had been recommended to us and I had eaten there a few years ago. We had the seafood box -which sounded great, but was a bit disappointing - when it arrived it was extremely greasy and didn't look that great. We both love seafood and have had those kind of combinations in other places - Had I realised the contents were all deep fried I would have made another selection. My husband ate most of his, but the bottom of the little box was totally covered in oil. Unfortunately I couldn't eat mine - which was a shame - as just a little longer to let the oil drain or the selection tipped onto kitchen paper to remove the excess grease would have made all the difference. By contrast the ice cream was amazing! Delicious, generous portions and with a fabulous mango sorbet. If we come again we'll make a different menu choice, and as I said the service and front of house staff were great.

We made our first evening visit to The Lobster Pot last night. We had booked a table for 8, and our daughter’s boyfriend decided to join us, even though all of the tables we booked, they managed to seat us all together. Food was amazing as usual. I must give out a special mention to Sam, busy as she was, ahead of made sure we were comfortable and looked after

Lovely lunch by the seaside! It was a great spot for lunch with friendly helpful staff. Great choice on the menu and your dogs are welcome too.

Food lovely but quite expensive for what it is. The staff are generally lovely but the owner is always stressed and rude.

Had some dinner with my girlfriend, i had a crab sandwich which was absolutely delicious and filling, they are generous with the amount of meat i got to say, my girlfriend had the fish n chips and we left extremely satisfied and filled, proper food coma after that

I can't really rate it higher, it was an excellent meal and the staff were all lovely. It was very busy which is testament to how good it is, and that is despite the fact that it was a very rainy day when we went. And people were still coming in in a steady stream.

Myself and my Sister went to lunch at the Lobster Pot yesterday. I had Fresh Crab Sandwich and Sis had the Prawn and Crayfish Sandwich tea and coffee made up the drinks. Very efficient and during busy times be prepared to share a table. The ice cream is always a treat with many flavours, but you do end up in the queue with everyone who wants to order food. It is a really known place in Bognor Regis, a fantastic place to go at any time of the year. Even now, in winter, the place is cosy and warm. The food is delicious,and dessert is great. Great place to go on any occasion.

Lovely cafe almost restaurant for place with lots of seafood options, or gone for just a decent coffee and cake. The location is fab, the service excellent, and the food was delicious. The fish stew was exceptional although I would say it is priced at the upper end of what I would pay in a city centre restaurant back up north like. Still a good treat and I would go back tomorrow!

Disappointed. Not great value for money. Seafood box is filled with (cheap) whitebait and only tiny morsels of the rest of the seafood promised on the menu (4 small prawns, 1 goujon, dry "popcorn" mussels and 6 small squids). Spent £40 on a beer, softdrink, starter and the seafood box. The box cost nearly half of that. Service was terse and not very welcoming. It's a shame because the location is rather lovely.

I really enjoyed our visit here. The weather was a bit naff and we sat indoors, but I suspect this is utterly stunning on a good day. The menu had a reslly nice range, but the specials board was where it shone. Some really good options. Wife opted for a local dressed crab, I went for local lobster in a brioche bun. Both of our dishes were delicious. We have a daughter with Coeliac disease, but she was fairly well catered for. It would be nice if they had a separate fryer - but I appreciate it isn't feasible for many places. She was very happy with the gluten free cake selection too. They had a decent selection of wines, coffee looked good (didn't have one) and they have a nice selection of ide creams too. We were only in the area for a day, but will definitely visit again if we're ever back.

Great location and delicious food with gorgeous sea views on a Saturday in August and very busy. . We had dressed crab for lunch and popped back on an evening and shared the salt and pepper squid - equally delicious although that was a bit pricey for what it was. All in all a lovely time was had and we would definitely return 😄👍

We found the Lobster Pot by accident when driving around exploring the Bognor Regis area after long day of sightseeing Arundel Castle & surrounding local area. Located right on seaside promenade at the end of a small narrow street. Note Lobster Pot has no dedicated parking so if looking for dinner at busy times arrive early or Uber or walk there. A wonderful place to enjoy good seafood right on the beach on a warm late August evening. The Team run a well drilled operation when ordering food & drinks. Note you have to go to the till (register) inside to order Good selection of reasonably priced meals , venue is licensed & all offers small but nice range cocktails We ordered Fish Stew & Lamb Curry, both were delicious along with a very good rosé & Classic Pimms Service was fast, efficient & friendly even though restaurant was very busy The outdoor eating area is much bigger than the indoors so ideal for warm summer night, we are outdoors I recommend the Lobster Pot, lovely place for elegant dining or simple meal depending on your mood

Excellent lunch today, can’t fault the staff, food or location just perfect. Unfortunately our afternoon was spoilt by a very rude customer who found it important to continue to loudly argue with the owner who was attentive and professional, will be coming back definitely!

Lovely position on the beachfront. Service was polite but subpar .. I appreciate busy times there could be a wait but a wait for a simple breakfast for 3o mins is a tad long. Plenty of staff walking around . Break was ok . Scrambled eggs lovely and the other bits were ok. My partners breakfast came without beans but we had waited so long we couldn't be bothered to wait again . Ok . You are paying for the position not food quality / quantity/ or service

We are a family who meet up here on the same day every year. Usually we are around 17 to 20. Today we were only 7! The staff were adamant that we could only be a table of 6 and even though we were prepared to squash on one table they were so unhelpful and actually extremely rude - jobs worth comes to mind. Not customer focussed and obsessed with rules. When the manager came to discuss this, she escalated the situation. Instead of listening and understanding what we were saying , she just spoke over everyone. We will never come again. Your staff have ruined our tradition and family memories. Very disappointed

Such a lovely place and the food is delicious. The drinks are far too expensive, two gin and tonics £16! I would highly recommend a visit, but perhaps have a soft drink

Once again, poor service lets down an otherwise nice restaurant in a lovely location with good food. When will they stop being complacent, recruit staff without an attitude and invest in them with some customer service Very disappointing

What a find! We had been told about the restaurant by neighbours and as new to the area decided to give it a go after an afternoon walking along the beach. The food is not only delicious but plentiful and the menu quite extensive. The service is also quick and attentive. It can get busy in high season but it’s worth the wait. Great atmosphere too!

Lovely setting with outside tables that overlook the beach. Food and drinks were good, we were mostly very happy. Some staff were really friendly – others not so much... There were little things that could be ironed out for a five star experience: The queuing system (for tables, food orders and ice cream) was all very disorganised, and my burger bun was very burnt (black).

Wow! Had a good meal here tonight but at the end we wanted a dessert and we were told we had to go to the back of a very long queue all over again to order extra drinks or a dessert. This seems crazy as we had just had an evening meal here. Quite a few very upset customers who couldn’t even order extra drinks without leaving their meals and queuing for ages! Seems like a crazy system so we left.

Lovely location right on the beach. Early dinner for 3. Mixed Seafood Box, King Prawn & Smoked Salmon Fettucine & Seafood Stew. Helpings were generous and we all thoroughly enjoyed our meals. We all had desserts. I can highly recommend the Lemon Meringue Pie. We washed it down with a lovely bottle of Mr. Goose red wine. All the staff we encountered were friendly and efficient, and the service was very good. Will definitely return, hopefully when the sun is shining. My only regret is that I hadn't discovered this place before, having lived in the area all my life! Thank-you 🌟 🌟 🌟 🌟 🌟

A couple of friends had mentioned they'd had a good evening here so we thought we'd give it a try. Glad we did. Excellent service and great food. Parking is a bit of an issue, especially when they're busy but all in all a really lovely place.

Came here for the afternoon meal, We had the Sole fish which was in specials of the day & The Box of Seafood mix This fish was very tasty. The seafood box is good too, but a bit greasy. We enjoyed our meal.

During our visit to The Lobster Pot in Felpham, my wife and I enjoyed an exceptional dining experience right next to the beach. The restaurant offers generous portions of delicious food at very reasonable prices. We relished the swordfish steak and mussels, complemented by a pork belly starter and crab with avocado. The variety of fresh seafood dishes was impressive. The service was fantastic, making the meal even more enjoyable. The location, with its lovely sea views and proximity to the promenade, further enhanced our visit. Highly recommended for a memorable meal by the sea.

I was shocked to discover they only do lobster on the specials board, occasionally. The name should probably be changed because it’s quite misleading. The ladies serving behind the counter were very friendly and welcoming. However, the food was absolutely awful! I had the prawn and crayfish salad, the prawns were chewy and tasteless, it’s like they had been defrosted in water. The two bits of crayfish I received in the salad were the same. I sent this back and the manager was very nice and offered to change it, I then had the fish stew. Again, just no flavour, really tasteless and big boiled new potatoes blonked in it. I was so looking forward to some fresh seafood by the sea, this is not the place for it! All the other parties food was mediocre. I really would not recommend here, travel a little further.

Excellent food and service. I was impressed that, halfway through our meal, they came and offered us a table inside as rain was threatening. They did this even though they had new customers waiting for tables. Those customers would have been additional revenue but they chose to prioritise our comfort.

Ordered Haddock for my son. Could see how fresh it looked on cutting into it. Unfortunately he couldn't eat it all so I had to finish it for his. Was as good as it looked 😋.

We stopped here for a lunchtime meal. Very busy. Unfortunately not much seating inside and a queue at the counter. However, don't let this put you off as the food is really fantastic. I had gluten free seafood salad and my wife the chicken shnitzel. Would reccomend this cafe to anyone.

Absolutley amazing food and place to eat cant fault it my only reason for a star missing is the one waitress an older lady with blonde hair is rude, huffy and has no time for anyone. Ive been a few times and shes been literally huffy with me and my disabled son, rolling her eyes and huffing like we have inconvenience her. I also noticed her behaviour with other customers. Every other waitress is lovely and serve with a smile and is happy. To keep your amazing place amazing i would suggest reviewing a particular member of staff as she lets the place down, and overall the lobster pot is amazing!

A beautiful place and one of my most favourite places to eat, with a view to die for. Food was fantastic and the service was excellent.

Food is nice, freshly cooked and served hot. Salmon Alfresco is really nice. My friend had Dressed Selsey Crab with chips and he loved it. Their ice-cream is also a must have.

We were staying just down the road, so this was very convenient for us inc two dogs. What an extensive menu! Catering for all tastes here. We had dinner (fish and chips) and the following day we returned for brunch. All our meals were lovely, food arrived quickly and with polite service. We really enjoyed the view sitting outside. My only criticism is that I think it's quite over-priced. But I would nevertheless return.

Walking the England Coast Path from Littlehampton I came across this fabulous eatery. Perfect location and view. Great menu too. Had been recommended by a local and you could see it was a popular spot. Outside dining as well as inside. Friendly and efficient staff. Very clean. Food was great and even opted for a desert. Waiting time was acceptable as it was very busy. Fairly expensive but you get what you pay for! Would highly recommend The Lobster Pot.

Superb place location viewing and mainly food. Beachside. No draught alcohol but you can find a drink. So far One of the best Pimm's of the season. Seafood box platters are all worth it just to drive for dinner or lunch. Highly recommend place

Absolutely I think the best place around here . Never had a bad moment . Great staff brilliant food . Super location . Just been again for a spur of the moment brunch with my wife , grilled mackerel and a fresh local lobster roll . Absolutely would get again. I hope this place never shuts down . If you haven’t been then the time is now . The fish box is also really great , good pricing and tasty .

Very good food. We had sandwiches, and It came with crisps. Very good service. Girls very friendly. Coffee wasn't very hot, tbh I never think the mugs they use keep it hot for long. Wish I'd asked for take away cup. However, they offered soya and oat milk, and the coffee was lovely.. Beautiful views of the sea. It is perfect there. 👌

Cozy spot. Quite a nice selection of seaside picnic fare from sandwiches and soups to lobster plates and an ice cream bar. But it does get a bit cramped in the summer, so you should book ahead for lunch. Highly recommend the tea set and sausage sandwich with chips.

Not the cheapest place in the world, and you're definitely paying for the location (which is very nice), but it's otherwise hard to find fault with it. It's incredibly popular, so get there early. A very nice light lunch - mushrooms on toast, and you can ask for a fried egg on top, which they're happy to do for you. Give it a whirl

This was my first time back to eat here in a while and whilst the food is usually good, something has happened to the waitressing staff, who seem to have been replaced my rude and uncaring individuals. As a coeliac, I am unable to consume gluten and always check something is Gluten Free before ordering. I asked a young blonde haired waitress if she knew and after rolling her eyes at me she went and asked the kitchen staff and said it was fine. Upon returning to the table she was then heard by myself gossiping about my request with a colleague and said and I quote 'why do people have to be so difficult, asking about gluten free, just eat it as it is'. I was made to feel like a complete inconvenience and actually got very upset. GLUTEN FREE IS NOT A CHOICE FOR A COELIAC!!! The food when it arrived was passable at best and very little effort had actually gone in to the presentation and the taste was bland and bacon under cooked. For the prices they charge I'd expect a lot more. What right do you or your staff have to pass judgment so openly on someone's dietary requirements?! Needless to say I will not be returning.

The Lobster Pot is seaside restaurant at the side of the beach in Felpham. The Lobster Pot is very popular and gets very busy. Seating is available inside, under cover and outside. The tables were very clean. There is a large selection of food and drinks available including specials of the food. Portions are very good sized, but some of the food was cooked in greasy oil which spoiled the taste. Some of the food was overcooked. Service was quite quick considering how busy it was.

The food here is wonderful, can’t fault it. The service from one member of staff is extremely rude. I returned here within two weeks as was staying in the area and the food was good. usually would have felt welcomed back in similar circumstances by other restaurants but this person makes you feel like an inconvenience! Not pleasant at all and does not do justice to the chefs and the other members of staff.

My stepdaughter and family were visiting from Essex and went ( with my recommendation) to the Lobster Pot for breakfast. Apparently a very bossy lady was telling people to queue, which they did, and then other people just walked in and nothing said. It was not what was said, but how it was said. They then had just a coffee and moved on to The Boathouse instead. I myself have had this too. I thought the people queuing were waiting for an inside table, so I went inside to order, as we were sitting outside. I was also told quite aggressively to wait outside. It definitely needs some signage of where to queue and what you're queuing for eg table or to order.

Lovely location, great food but occasionally let down by a couple of overzealous staff

We visited on a quiet afternoon so no shortage of tables or staff. Unfortunately we were not made to feel welcome and the Manager was rude and very abrupt. This is the second time this has happened. We will not be back

I love the lobster pot. It's in a wonderful location with sea views. The food is good and it's a very nice place for a coffee, snack or meal. However, the prices are now too high. £14 for a cooked breakfast and you have to pay extra if you want a hash brown. My wife and I recently walked all the way from Aldwick to the Lobster Pot with the intent of rewarding ourselves with breakfast. When we saw the prices and poor value, we turned back and headed for the Hatters (Wetherspoons) where the food is good and exceptional value for money.

Great food, I particularly enjoyed the crab sandwich which was one of the specials. The only downside is it's very busy and the queuing system and signs are VERY confusing, and some staff were not very patient or helpful in explaining or organising customers.

Worth every penny, food was tasty and service was great too
