A little Saundersfoot gem. Situated towards the rear of the Old Chemist Inn. this place has great views across the bay. Fabulous bacon and egg and sausage and egg breakfast rolls on our first visit, with a cappuccino and a cup of tea. We returned the next day and I again had the bacon and egg roll and my wife had a cheese and ham toastie. We also had 2 flat whites. Very friendly staff and owner and reasonable prices. One of our favourite Pembrokeshire stops.

Really friendly place, absolutely delicious food, large portions (which justified the price). We came here on a very rainy day and this place warmed our bellies and our hearts. Whatever you do, order the fries, they were genuinely the best I have ever eaten. And I have eaten a lot of fries.

We’ve been coming to Mamgu’s since when they were previously in Solva, their homemade Welsh cakes are always superb. Today we stopped for lunch after a long dog walk on the adjacent beach, my wife had their savoury cheese and leek Welshcakes with beans which she enjoyed, I went for their Lamb Cawl. The Cawl, by a very, very long distance, was the best I’ve had anywhere in Wales. Highly recommended, lovely flavour, decent portion, lots of lamb, fresh break roll. Will Go back for this again 100/100.

Absolutely fantastic breakfast. Beautifully cooked fresh ingredients, delicious coffee and really good value. Friendly staff, particularly Hugh, the proprietor. Highly recommended.

I feel that reading the reviews it must be a different place to where we visited! We have never been before and usually go next door! I will agree that I thought that the lunchtime menu was a little limited and I would ask that maybe an all day breakfast or at least a bacon sandwich is offered. But what we had was nice and the coffee was good. The service was very good and the lady who seemed to be the manager was very friendly. Atmosphere was nice with a mix of locals and holiday makers and people with well behaved dogs made it seem friendly.

Nothing remarkable ... It was OK, but the beef wasn't great, Beouf Bourgignonne, it wasn't. No onions or mushrooms or steak .... carrots to fill it out .. definitely not steak. Cost £20. Ridiculous. The roast beef dinner came showered with ground nuts. Strange. From the vegetarian version, apparently, Lucky that wasn't one of our allergies. Building is great. Service awful.

Absolutely amazing food. Excellent service. Nothing is too much trouble. Staff are friendly, chatty & helpful, and it’s clean. Definitely recommend the coronation chicken, cheese salad. Hubby had baked spud first time which he enjoyed & baguette 2nd time each he enjoyed. And the cakes WOW!! I will miss the carrot cake which I highly recommend & the custard slice is just as amazing. The cost is brilliant too. Thanks you Phillys Baguettes

"Excuse me, my kids have peanut allergies, can you tell me if the cakes are ok for them to eat please?" "dunno mate, couldn't tell you" Not good enough, if you're going to sell food to the public you need to know it's allergens - that's the law. "Dunno mate" and no attempt to check is not acceptable

We ordered a mixed box of 6 for £15 and couldn’t even finish them as they were so bad. The toppings tasted like they had been left open in the fridge for a long time, the brownie itself was a horrible rubbery texture and bland taste. Such a shame as the brownies look very appealing and the shop front was inviting
