Absolutely fantastic breakfast. Beautifully cooked fresh ingredients, delicious coffee and really good value. Friendly staff, particularly Hugh, the proprietor. Highly recommended.

What a surprise we’ve never tried the snug for breakfast we were a family of four and a child. As soon as we walked through the door we were greeted with a welcoming smile from staff. Food was great and good value. Will definitely be back best service we’ve had in saundersfoot for breakfast for a long time

We were staying upstairs and decided to give the cafe and cellar bar a try. Loved the cellar bar! Amazing! The cafe was lovely but we were a little disappointed at the breakfast menu, all we fancied was a bacon or sausage sandwich. We were surprised there was no typical fried breakfast items on the menu. Overall very nice, we had the Welsh rarebit which was lovely but lacked any salad or garnish on the side. It wouldn’t put us off coming again but maybe not for breakfast.

This place is a hidden gem. A basement bar which is well lit, spotlessly clean and full of ambiance. There is a free pool table, dart board and BT sports on offer. Dogs are welcome, too. A great array of fraught and bottled beers and lagers, all served by a friendly manager. So pleased we tried this place and can’t wait to return in October.

Always a warm welcome and great to meet up with friendly people. We regularly visit this hideaway bar with its warm atmosphere.

Been to this establishment previously with a good quality pint of Carling served. But on this occasion sent back 2 pints for not having adequate gas. Gentlemen behind the bar served a new pint in a different glass with again no gas. Shame as this establishment was very welcoming and a good beer previously.

First but definitely not last meal here. A very interesting and varied menu (far from your standard pub fayre). Very friendly service with a smile. Superb food. One of the best meals I've ever had and for a very reasonable price. The Chef clearly knows what they're doing!

Thoroughly enjoyed our recent visits to The Ship Aground whilst staying in our bungalow in the area. As always, we received a warm welcome from Julian, Alison, the rest of the team and the locals, with the beer to its' usual high standard. The place was buzzing on the occasions we visited and I only wish that this pub was in Cardiff!! Looking forward to our next visit.
