Shoreline Coffee Shop in Pembrokeshire

Four miles into our 14-mile trek along the Pembrokeshire Coastal Path, stumbled upon an awesome spot for a bacon and sausage roll in a cozy rustic bun, paired with a delightful hot chocolate. The super-friendly staff, fantastic view, and unbeatable price, portion, and ingredient quality made it a perfect mid-trek refuel!

My boyfriend and I only visited this cafe for a little drink to get out of the rain. Upon entry we were greeted by no one, being lactose intolerant I headed straight to where you order to ask if they do oat milk I was told no by a very rude girl. Personally I find this terrible because I couldn’t have I drink in here due to my intolerance.

Coffee ok hot chocolate ok and cake ok but the really disappointing thing was the size of the cups very small and very expensive for what we got definitely much nicer places for a coffee with much better servings

We visited the shoreline coffee shop with our from saundersfoot. Service excellent the welsh ham sandwich was to die for and would thoroughly recomend. The seating area at the back gives wonderful views over the beach. The shoreline coffee shop is not to be missed when you visit saundersfoot

We spent the week in saundersfoot on our family holiday. We found this gem of a coffee shop on the beach. It offers a fantastic selection of refreshments including sandwiches,pastries and cakes. There was even a selection of gluten free items too!

Best flat white coffee I've had for ages, and what a huge boost after a long day's walk on the Pembrokeshire Coastal Path. And in such a warm and friendly atmosphere. Highly recommend.

We had a lovely lunch of paté and Victoria sponge with two huge cups of tea. The refurb has created a really chilled café bar vibe. There is an amazing view out over the beach to the Gower from the back. Highly recommended. And dog friendly too.

Just wanted to thank the staff at Shoreline for a brilliant service on 8 February. They went out to buy me oat milk as they had run out of it. Staff so very kind and friendly. A VERY VERY POOR SERVICE , We decide have drink so we went in and ordered brinks, this was 11.54 am when we got them at 12.24 am ,they had two more people came in ,then three people came in they had there straight away we look at the man that server my wife and looked he did not know what he was doing .are car park time was up and the wife told him that and still was messing about .SO THAT WHY PUT THIS

We went for breakfast at the Shoreline Cafe in Saundersfoot, we ordered cappuccino, americano, sausage pattie on rustic roll and a bacon and sausage pattie on rustic roll. The coffees were lovely but when the rolls came neither were buttered, my hubbies (just sausage) was ok, mine was luke warm. The actual sausage pattie was cold! I got the attention of the waitress and explained it was cold. She took it away then a few mins later brought the same back just reheated. So I'm from a catering background and could tell the patties and bacon are pre cooked which is fine but to warm the pattie then re-warm again is a no go! I asked the waitress if she had just warmed it up and she said yes...to which I said No I'm not eating it. I was then offered a fresh one which I accepted. The waitress proceeded to slam and bang in the open counter area where the breakfasts are made making me feel extremely uncomfortable. She then brought a fresh bacon and sausage pattie roll out plonked on on the table and stopped off. I ate it as it was hot and its what I asked for. I wasn't being difficult, I just wanted a hot brekkie roll...not a pound of flesh! As i said the coffees were really nice but 2 coffees and 2 rolls at a price of over £17.00 and supplied with a stroppy, kitchen slamming attitude was far too much. It's put me off returning, I'll take my hard earned cash elsewhere where it is appreciated.

1, latte, 1, tea, 1, chocolate all served in small tea cups £8.00, never again. At least Dick Turpin had the decency to wear a mask.

White chocolate cake which was full of cream rather than chocolate was served warmish. Very unpleasant. Our polite comments were not appreciated.

We ventured in here for lunch and some coffee and absolutely wish we hadn't bothered. They're cash only, which they should display somewhere(!) and not at all hygienic. After handling cash, the cashier went on to prepare sandwiches without washing her hands! They also left cooked meat on the counter (bacon) for some time before eventually assembling a sandwich. I found the man (who I assume is the manager) to be quite pompous and he has conveniently placed the sign outside the establishment which hides their 1 out of 5 hygiene rating. I was disgusted when I left. Needless to say, I won't be recommending or returning.

had a lovely tuna wrap with salad. not really overpriced. You can if you wish sit out on the balcony overlooking the beach.

Very disappointing to find that they did not offer a children's menu and when we asked if we could have a plain sandwich for a young child they charged us £6.95!! Absolutely ridiculous for a seaside cafe & would certainly not return.

We went in here after finding 2 other cafes full - this place was empty.The 4 of us ordered cakes & coffees / teas - the choice of cake was very poor plus the fact the one I had tasted stale.The coffee was extremely weak.The tea was a tea bag in a mug - for £2.Only for the fact the 2 young girls tried their best, it would have been a a 1 star review.On the way out, we noticed their food hygiene rating - 1 star - we would not have gone in at all if this had been noticed before!Not good & won't be back

Called in for a hot drink after a walk around Saundersfoot ordered two hot chocolates for myself and my husband and requested a pot of hot water as we like to add some water to our hot chocolates.I was told by the member of staff that they don't do pots only a small jug I asked for one each I was then told by the member of staff that I will have to charge you for the hot water !!! my reply was after the initial shock was that it didn't inspire me to return to the cafe again wish we had just gone elsewhere as when the hot chocolates arrived they were very weak and the hot water was presented in a mug which made it impossible to pour into our mugs without spilling onto the table.The waitress also said we haven't been charged for the HOT WATER !!!

Called in for a coffee as it’s called a coffee shop. Served hot brown tasteless liquid.. with the likes of Coffee 1, costas, and cafe Nero we’re used to drink decent coffee. Please get yourself a descent bean to cup machine and I’m sure you’ll increase your sales and have better reviews.

On the hunt for something for lunch when we came across this restaurant. Meals were ordered and served promptly. They were tasty and reasonably priced.

Having just walked the coastal path today from Tenby to Saundersfoot, we were tired & wanted cake. Called in Shoreline & found delicious carrot cake. Absolutely scrumptious! Lovely location & lovely staff. Thank you x

We usually go to this restaurant every year and the food was always good, but today we went in and there was very little on the lunchtime menu and the majority of drinks were unavailable and expensive for what they are. This was blamed on the bank holiday, but surely they should have taken this into account, especially at a tourist location. Then one of the staff announced that the sink and the till had broken so they were not taking any orders for the time being and then told one of the waitresses to place chairs in front of the door, turning customers away. This obviously left us worried that we would not get our food. Our food later then arrived with the waitress just shoving the plates on our table without saying a word, and they also had a very young child on the till who was very clueless. The food looked as if it had come out of the microwave and it was very hot and burnt both me and our 11 year old.

Had a lovely cup of coffee. And a slice of coffee & Walnut cake. Say out the back looking onto the beech and the sea. Very good. And would definitely recommend.

We popped in here because of the view from the beach which looked amazing..so my wife and I ordered two teas and my wife wanted avocado on toast, only to be told by the owner that it will take 3 days as the ones that were delivered were hard..so we both had eggs Benedict. The tea arrived with the tea bags floating in the cup. Ho dear we thought. Then the eggs arrived one which was runny with white stuff floating on the top and the other hard. The bacon was test-less. My wife left most of hers and we left only to see a sign which says they only deal in cash. I questioned this and the owner first said that cash only was all he wanted to use. But everyone uses cards these days I said then he changed his mind to say they have just changed banks etc etc. Yeh right. We will not be going back here in a hurry

This is about 30 minutes from home for me, and like most coastal areas in the summer school holiday period everything is crowded. Love it throughout the best of the year, even if looking out with a hot chocolate on to a stormy Saundersfoot beach.

Popped in here while walking around Saundersfoot and were happy with our choice. Great service, great staff and good prices with a variety of things on offer. Only had coffees this time but will go back before our holiday ends.

Popped in here for a late morning brunch on a short visit to Saundersfoot. We sat on the terrace - it was lovely as it was such a beautifully, sunny day. I had bruschetta which was very tasty, if a little too much onion for me.

Reasonable value but it is a holiday town. Lovely full breakfast and french pancakes. Quite quick with order

Lovely coffee but one particular member of staff was unfriendly and didn’t make us feel welcome (younger staff were nice). Having worked in a customer service industry myself for over 20 years I would definitely recommend she attends a customer service course to improve her service! She made us feel very awkward! Such a shame as the cafe has lovely beach views but a poor choice for children and we will not be returning again.

Fabulous Smoked Salmon Salad sitting out-back overlooking the beach in the Sun. Just wonderful. Highly recommended

I havent got one good thing to say about this place.

We haves used regularly when in Saundersfoot, mainly for breakfast which is fantastic, this time we had lunch, the pizza was superb, the garlic cheese flat bread amazing and the Mac and cheese perfect.

Always a pleasure coming to the Shoreline. The staff are brilliant always helpful and the coffee, good and cakes are delicious. Well worth a visit. Only one drawback, no waitress service to take orders, but still great. Thank you.

Popped in here for lunch with our toddler. I had a veggie tagine of butternut squash and a ‘Moroccan quinoa’. The quinoa may as well have been served in pure vinegar. I ate it all because I was beyond starving.

Friendly staff with lovely view over the beach, Food to a very good standard and very tasty with good portions.

Overall was okay. Staff are friendly and outside terrace gives lovely views but the day we visited the toilet was out of order and they didn’t have any of the adult pasta dishes available.

We often call in for a coffee. Staff are always pleasant and the view onto the beach is amazing. Well worth a visit.

After a wet coastal walk we arrived at the shoreline sitting at the back looking out tti sea views. Friendly lovely staff, James the owner is a charectir, lunch was lovely and fresh offering vegetarian opinions. Highly recommend

Food was shocking if I’m honest.... wife asked for cawl it tasted sour and off so she had refund.. scrambled egg was over done and Black.. I hat to take my 7 year old daughter to the toilets on the harbour as there’s were closed!! No sign to say toilets were out of order.. so shouldn’t of even been open if there was no toilet available in my opinion..

Went in for a coffee and cake, the service was slow, the toilet grubby, and the manager (?) rude and dismissive. We don't like making a fuss and the place was cold anyway so we left ASAP. Not going there again.

Have eaten here on several occasions, the ploughman’s and continental meat platters are plentiful and tasty. The chicken and bacon pasta, delicious. Reasonably priced and licensed with lovely views. A little gem.

Visited before for breakfast, this time lunch. Good choice on menu. Fully licensed. You can only pay with cash. In the summer or on a dry day you can eat outside with a stunning view of the beach.

Living nearby we often call in for a mid morning coffee. The location is superb overlooking Saundersfoot beach, staff are always friendly and accommodating.

This coffee shop/bar backs onto and can be accessed from the beach so you can enjoy a coffee whilst keeping an eye on the kids on the beach. They also have a licence and have a good selection of gins.

A quait coffee shop overlooking the beach front in Saundersfoot. We popped in for a coffee and snack, mainly to get out of the rain. Service was good, bacon sandwich was very nice, plenty of thick bacon. The coffee however was too hot and noticely burnt the coffee. Also, card payment was not accepted.

Wonderful breakfast where you can look out at the sea. You can take drinks down the back onto the beach so children can carry on playing. Clean, tidy, good music.

Came here for a cuppa late one morning earlier this week. It was almost dinner time so too late for breakfast, but if I’m here earlier next time I’m in Saundersfoot, I will definitely come for breakfast as there was such a good choice. The choices for lunch were more snacks than meals, although there was a small selection of meals, including lasagne - nothing exciting though. It was mainly sandwiches and things - typical cafe food. I decided to go elsewhere for my dinner, but it was good for a coffee stop. The coffee was very nice, and service was friendly. Free wifi too. Gorgeous views from outside seating, which were unfortunately taken up by families on holiday, so I had to sit inside.

Came with my niece for lunch! This place never disappoints :) I had the seafood plate and a Diet Pepsi and my niece had the Brie bacon and cranberry baguette! Would recommend and will definitely return! Lovely staff and beautiful views :)

We visited after seeing on FB that they welcomed dogs like other places in Saundersfoot - wrong! After entering from the High Street we were made to feel unwelcome & told dogs were only allowed out the back! It was a freezing cold day & if we’d known this then I doubt we would have gone here. Don’t think we’ll visit again as the drinks weren’t that special & not cheap - very disappointing as there are plenty of other establishments in the town where dogs are welcome & the welcome is friendlier - shame but their loss really

Looking for somewhere pleasant to have morning coffee that would allow dogs. No dogs allowed at the seating inside but are allowed outside at the back of the cafe where there is seating overlooking the sea. Worth checking you can get a seat before ordering your coffee at the counter as it is a popular spot. Good coffee, quick pleasant service. Its our second visit there - so I would recommend it and we will be back!

We had breakfast here 4 of us and we all thought it wasn't up to much . Poached eggs which looked like fried eggs and very over cooked , eggs Benedict which was drowned in hollandaise sauce coffee which didn't arrive and we had to ask for it . Service was quite slow this coffee shop is off our to return list.

Nipped in for a bite sandwiches out of this world service good really clean and lovely place well stocked bar defiantly returning.

Visited this Morning with my partner and daughter ordered 1 breakfast and 1 pancakes , service was really quick , the food was delicious and very well presented will defiantly be visiting again , the only down side was the there really wasn’t much room for our pram to get in.

Really wet day with many people taking up tables nursing a coffee and using the wifi. Good for them, especially the bloke on a table for 4 playing games on his ipad, next to an empty coffee cup for half an hour. still we ordered, got seated, ate the soup and bread which was ok, picked at the nachos which had been obliterated in the microwave with molten cheese, and listened to the worst sub techno dance background track ever while we ate. although the staff are nice enough, its all pretty souless really. its the sort of place that if you do get a decent seat, youre unlikely to give it up and take root like many patrons tend to do. its mid price in its defence and relies on hob and microwave judging by the menu. I'd rather get food from the bakery in future and sit in the car where I'll be able to listen to anything other that the rubbish in shorelines.
