Me gusta mucho este lugar. Es una joya escondida. Genial para cafés, paninis y otros aperitivos. Cada calle necesita algo tan decente como este.

Me encanta este café, cómelo todos los días, todo recién hecho, sin recalentamiento, el personal es muy amable y además es realmente bueno por sus precios 5 * en general para mí xxx

From the outside, the Old Toll Bar isn't much to look at. You could easily walk by, barely paying it any attention, just writing it off as another typical Glasgow southside pub. But go inside and you will be pleasantly surprised. The place isn't the biggest but turns out to be surprisingly spacious considering the actual size. The whole interior looks great, quite old fashioned but in a good way. The decoration gives the bar a nice charm to it. All of the staff that I've ever met in here have been very friendly and helpful. One in particular really went the extra mile for us. We wanted to order cocktails and rather than just leaving us to choose off the cocktail menu, this staff member came out from behind the bar when he didn't have to and wanted to make sure we got the right cocktails for us. He went as far as asking us questions about what we liked in a cocktail before offering to make us one that wasn't even on the menu. Customer service doesn't get much better than that! The cocktail itself was also very good. So, this probably isn't the sort of place that you would head for specifically as it is quite small and out of the way. But, if you're ever in the Kinning Park, Paisley Road West area, I would recommend stopping in as part of a day out or a bar crawl or something.

Dinner portions once again are so small compared to wjsy they usually are and it was cold, for £35 it waa toi cold too eat.

Great for a working lunch spot. I recommend the loaded fries

Came for full English breakfast and I know it’s Scotland but was told ‘we don’t serve fried eggs’ I was took back I had to ask again am I in a cafe so I asked to see the chef and this skinny lad came out I think his name is bri or Kai and told me under no circumstance do we make fried eggs so I said can you cancel my order then I will just grab a can of coke to which he replied we only sell irn bru so I left

Megan, the manager, is awesome—friendly, attentive, and clearly passionate about making sure everyone has a great experience. The staff as a whole is top-notch, adding to the pub’s welcoming feel. The food is just as impressive as the drinks, with a solid menu that complements the extensive beer selection. If you’re in Glasgow and looking for a great pub, The Ark is definitely worth a visit!

Very dissapointed.Waited some time before staff approached table to take drink order.Came quite quickly and left menu which we chose but again no staff returned to take order.Eventually we were served and fish I ordered was so dry I could. Not swallow.When waiter came to take plates away never asked why I hadn't eaten fish.When I said his response was he would let chef know.End of that.Bill came which was paid in full.Never saw waiter again.Certainly won't be back.Dreadful!!!!
