Stopped here for a couple of double espressos on the way to a gig at the Hydro. The coffee was excellent and we sat outside watching the world go by as we drank it.

On a 2 day trip to Glasgow, we called in for an early lunch having got caught in a sudden downpour. What a find! Fantastic toasties & soup. Good coffee and chai. Lovely atmosphere, great decor. Friendly chatty staff, great service. And we're not even vegetarian! Enjoyed it so much we went back the next day for breakfast, heavenly cinnamon toasted teacakes. Highly recommended.

I am not sure if the name of this cafe has changed or not. It is listed on TA as The cran but my menu and receipt read "Poppy Amber Rose). I enjoyed an Americano, 3£ and a bowl of soup. The soup consisted of potato/pea/fennel and was topped with crispy onions/fresh sprouts and toasted seeds, 7.50£ The soup was hearty, flavorful and filling. There is seating indoors and a few tables out front. Toilets are located down a very small winding stair case.

A gorgeous little cafe with beautiful artwork on display. The carrot cake was delicious and the tea was great; the sandwich was a little on the dry side. Highly recommended.

Whether you are a vegan, veggie or omnivore you HAVE to go to The Cran and shove some Durty Vegan Burgers in your face. We shared a Double Cheeze burger, 'chicken' nuggets, mac and cheeze, and cheeze fries. Words cannot describe how delicious the cheeze sauce is. I would drink a pint of it. I would take it intravenously if I could. The only downside is the limited drinks options but The Cran is surrounded by bars, so enjoy your Durty Vegan meal then head on out elsewhere for bevs.

Loved this little place. The vegan burgers tasted better than beef burgers. Awesome atmosphere with food to die for. I'll definitely be back here again. Compliments to the very friendly chef Macc

We stopped here for coffee and cake on our way into the city centre on a glorious brisk blue sky day. The flat white was strong n creamy, the turmeric latte spicy n foamy. Awesome banana and date cake! An old tobacco merchants shop with a relaxed vibe. Friendly service with a nice sense of humour.

Went in today with the sun streaming through the windows, nice warm feeling, superbly friendly staff, and very chilled music piping through the system. Sat in the rocking chair, and you know what, it was just perfect. I am not necessarily veggie nor vegan, but I had a wholemeal cheese toastie, came with a nice green salad and garnished with a choice of dressing. In an age where everything is a rip off, this proved to be true and great value, just perfect. Definitely recommend you give it a go!

It's nice to see a cafe not falling over itself trying to be minimalist. The decor is full on, and charmingly shabby. The cosy nook behind the main door is the introvert's sweet spot for a quiet lunch and (a truly delicious) coffee. I won't waffle on about the mouthfeel, but it's a damn smooth coffee. I first popped in when they'd only been open three weeks and was immediately impressed by how friendly the staff were. It's that sort of warmth that has me recommending them to friends and keeping them in mind every time I'm in Finnieston. They do more than the bare minimum of veggie and vegan foods and all that they do, they do very well. There's a large basket of bread for sale by the window, so when you leave, you'll do so with a full stomach, a to-go cup and a bag full of bloomers. Will be back soon.

Great find in Glasgow. A small cosy cafe decorated in a sort of pirate style. Ace veggie and vegan food (tempeh burritos etc) and extremely friendly staff who seem correctly passionate about tea! Worth going out of your way to visit if visiting the city.

Easily the best coffee in Glasgow. Actually, the best, most coffee-y coffee I've ever had. My partner is a coffee aficionado and we are always on a mission to get a great cup of coffee on our travels and at home, and this is a place we can heartily recommend.
