We stumbled upon this unique cafe and werelooking in the window when a young couple outside told us we should definitely go in ! They were right. It was so welcoming. The guy who served us was so friendly. The coffee was lovely but oh my goodness the cakes were outstanding. Absolutely a treat no doubt. Such a unique place. Lovely feeling about it and we will most surely be back

What an absolute gem of a spot! A reasonably small menu but all excellent quality. Only had the sandwiches but they are generously filled, with wonderful flavours on absolutely delicious bread. The lady serving is a delight too - friendly, chatty and cheery.

Me encantó el ambiente. Fue muy realista y silencioso. Perfecto para salir con amigos o estudiar. Muy buenas vibraciones con la música de fondo y las decoraciones. La camarera fue muy amable con nosotros y charló con nosotros un rato. Gente muy agradable. Sus pasteles son realmente buenos, son muy sabrosos y se nota que están hechos a mano. Las mesas son grandes y los asientos cómodos. Hay mucho espacio. Muy buena iluminación natural, con grandes ventanales. ¡Definitivamente regresaré! ¡Recomiendo encarecidamente este lugar!

Greatly dissapointed. i arrived, it was closed. came back the next day, it was opened BUT. when i ordered the food, it took 30 minutes.. 30 MINUTES?? i was utterly saddened by this. but when i got my food, you know what i saw in it? A HUMAN HAIR? THATS DISGUSTING. 1/10 would not reccomened.

First time here, I had steak pie and chunky chips. very nice, then apple and pear crumble. Also very nice. Service was good and servers were polite and attentive. Great experience

Have had fantastic experiences every time. Flawless food, great wine and exemplary customer service. A small piece of Italy in a classy, cozy venue. Brodie went above and beyond with his service and created a comfortable and memorable experience, will definitely be returning soon.

Un animado pub con aparcamiento en la calle cerca. El personal es excelente y lo convierten en un lugar acogedor con un ambiente agradable. La cena de pescado estaba deliciosa con excelente pescado y una porción de buen tamaño. Mantenga el alto nivel y dar al personal un bono.

Relaxed atmosphere, dog friendly

Delicious freshly made food and excellent service. Especially good if you like eggs in all shapes and forms and if you are a veggie. So good that we went back the next day for brekkie.

Das Empire State Coffee ist eine sehr empfehlenswerte Adresse fuer Fruehstueck sowie auch Kaffee und Kuchen. Das Empire State Coffee befindet sich nur wenige Schritte vom Bahnhof entfernt, ganz in der Naehe der Innenstadt. Das Personal war sehr nett und freundlich sowie auch hilfsbereit. Es gibt sehr schoene Sitzgelegenheiten im Cafe sowie auch im Tiefgeschoss. Das Cafe oeffnet bereits um 7.30 Uhr und serviert leckere, belegte Baguettes sowie auch Kuchen und Torten. Das Angebot wird abgerundet durch verschiedene Kaffee-Sorten, Kakao, Softdrinks sowie auch verschiedene Shakes. Kreditkartenzahlung ist auch moeglich. Brot und Broetchen sind auch erhaeltlich. Ich habe dort mehrmals gefruehstueckt und am Nachmittag Kaffee und Kuchen bestellt. Eine sehr empfehlenswerte Adresse in Dundee!

Disfrutamos de otra visita al Tartán. Lugar muy popular y puede entender por qué. Muy cómodo ambiente amable y excelente personal. Comida encantadora y todo recién preparado y con mucho el mejor café de la ciudad! Volveremos pronto.
