What an amazing place! It’s a must visit if you are in North Down. Food is fantastic, all the staff are so nice and what a lovely place and view.

Absolutely lovely cafe, friendly service, great food, I had the small fry, wife and mate had eggs Benedict all looked amazing, wife said best eggs Benedict she’d ever had out, decent coffee, view overlooking a harbour, well worth a visit.

Good to meet and relax, no pressure to rush

Such a great place to be in and look at, unfortunately couldn’t get someone to take our order. After 15 mins went to the bar to ask if there was anyone taking orders. It was breakfast, when they did, the food was awesome, but the service was shocking for the establishment. Terrible.

Stumbled upon this place last night. We had a meal and a selection of desserts. Really tasty food. Friendly service and good conversation with the young lady who was serving us.

Great place for a drink or lovely food. Plenty of staff to cope with often a lot of customers . Prices good. Quality of everything good. Worrh a visit. Plenty of TV coverage of things popular. Background music at a nice sound level

This was a bit of a difficult place to rate. The staff were very friendly, helpful and informative. The drinks arrived promptly, and the food was presented perfectly. The burger and chunky chips that I had tasted lovely and would recommend it. There's a nice seating area at the front, but passing traffic can spoil it a bit. The only real reason for the 4 star review and not a 5 was that, the place was in need of a bit of a spring clean. There was dust visible on top of speakers, window sills and the border around the eating area. Everything else was great, but as I said before, just needs a bit of spring clean in the bar and eating area. Toilets were immaculate!

4 friends for lunch and always found The Ava great. We spent over £200 ....hd lunch laughs and tears, as my Sister is ill and we all needed a chat. We were told to be quiet, by a young guy behind the bar... Really.... the place was dead very quiet Then told our table was reserved.... can we leave. Unbelievable....they took our booking for 14th December, but we will not be BACK. WHERE are all the old staff. Place is a joke Ps I've laughed at The Ritz , The Shard The Merchant..... The Ava pmsl

Food was lovely here. I had the salted chilli chicken for starter and beer battered fish n chips for main. Couldn't fault it. The staff were really nice, helpful and attentive to our needs.

Nice bar off the beaten track that is full of Irish charm. Does a good Guinness

Nice feel to the place even mid week. Great service, by knowledgeable, friendly front of house staff. The food was very good. (The deserts were excellent!). Really good cocktail menu - although not on the list, they were happy to make a Long Island Iced Tea, that was the best I’ve had in a while
