Beautiful country bar and restaurant

Very nice cafe with good food and friendly and service-oriented staff. Really recommended.

Sat outside in the glorious sun. Had Ulster fry and tea. Food was very good, especially the soda and potato bread and black pudding. Very friendly atmosphere, a relaxing place.

Visit regularly for lunch and always impressed. Varied and adaptable menu, food always delicious, reasonably priced and staff are lovely. Just ticks all the boxes!

I firmly believe that the prices charged at Picnic are too high for what you get by the way of the food and coffee.The food is okay for a deli come cafe but on occasions can lack consistency. You try something and enjoy and the next time it is not quite the same which results in dissapointment. Maybe it is just down to a different member of staff putting together the dish.

Came in for ice creams at the ice cream counter to be served very quickly by the red haired supervisor. Very nice very friendly. However we had to wait in the queue for over 5 minutes with melting ice cream whilst this young petite girl standing at the counter decided not only to take her time taking money she started casually talking to her mate who was in before us while we had ice cream over our hands. Started to get fed up and noticed she stopped talking and then thought she was going to take our money eventually, nope she started talking to a member of staff not knowing who two ice cream sundaes belonged to. I had to pipe up, are you going to take our money here ? And the girl looked so ignorantly at me took my tenner and then slammed the change in my hand. That girl needs a lesson in running a busy ice cream shop where it took seconds to get the ice cream but wait in a queue to pay. This is an issue that I’m sure people will avoid again due to not wanting to buy a melted ice cream. At then end we had to gulp the ice cream down as by the time we got outside to enjoy it half of it was gloop dripping all over the place.

Fantastic breakfast here .. could not fault.. will definitely will be back in the near future.. well worth a visit if your in the area ..

We had dinner at this restaurant twice during our stay at the Premier Inn hotel. The waiters were very friendly and the food was great. The kids menu was a good offer, because with 8€ a kid has 2 dishes (starter+main or main+dessert), a drink and 2 sides to choose. For adults, there is the possibility of a Meal Deal, which has a good price including 2 dishes and a drink. If we ever stay at this hotel again, we will return to this restaurant.

They serve really good Milk Shakes. Their ice creams are good too. During better weather you can sit outside and enjoy your purchases.

Great coffee, pleasant and friendly staff & reasonably priced. Relaxing and clean environment. Love their almond flat white coffees.

Absolutely delicious. Best breakfast I've had in a long time. I had the Baghdad eggs washed down with a tasty cappuccino, yum!

This is a place I will return to again. I fully recommend The Maghera in̈n .good food, and service.
