Cafe Taste in North Down

Visted this Cafe when visiting friends in Bangor. Staff where really friendly and the breakfast was amazing.

I visited for the 1st time on Wednesday 15th april and found it to be outstanding cleanliness and staff 2nd to none coffee and food really lovely I will certainly be back.

Absolutely loved it,forget the over priced trendy places by the sea front ,this place has better food, much cheaper prices and lovely staff 10 outa 10

Their vegetarian breakfast is fantastic, great value for money, staff are very friendly, highly recommended, just one drawback,it's so small that there is no toilet, or hand washing facilities for us customers

Me and two friends went to cafe taste, one of my friends ordered and then it started raining so we decided since there was barely anyone inside that we would go take shelter inside until the rain passed. Despite having two customers who the staff already dealt with we weren't interrupting anything and planned on standing in the corner away from everything until the rain stopped. We were then told to leave and told "tough sh1t" when we politely asked if we could stay until the rain went off. Staff was rude even though we already ordered and they weren't busy so we weren't disturbing anything

Called in for brekkie. In Bangor regularly, but never been here before. Great service and fantastic workman's fry. Will definitely be back. Thank you!

Food was great and freshly cooked. Egg cooked to perfection. Good strong warm coffee too

I was back home visiting Bangor, I left 32 years ago, my son was with me and wanted to experience a proper Ulster fry! With the rest of my family, we went to Cafe Taste and none of us were disappointed...great place, great service, and absolutely fantastic food!! All of us were very happy and satisfied!! 100% recommend!!

Breakfast was delightful toast bacon and poached eggs nice and soft with a lovely hot pot of tea which was topped up later

I love this little spot. Now I've only had tea and toast here, but if the standard of tea and toast is to go by, I can only imagine how delicious their menu is. The toast is perfect and you should see the portion of butter you get!! And it's really nice to eat somewhere were the bread option isn't limited to sourdough, like so many places in Bangor. Warm, friendly and easy to pay. I would highly recommend this cafe. I'd go as far to say, it's the best in Bangor

Lovely burger,but buns disentragted made lunchtime messy,frozen baps are no good for double cheese burgers,I travelled from Bangor to get a nice burger, totally ruined my day out.🤮

We were advised by the local hotel about this place for breakfast. Food was beautiful and the staff were very pleasant. The next day we brought our entire family, and everybody loved their experience. Would recommend to anyone if they were visiting Bangor.

Myself and my daughter had a lovely meal in cafe taste Bangor ,codown .I would highly recommend this place, as it has alot of meals and myself and My daughter had a tasty fry , it was so good to get a decent fry without any grease on it .very good customer service ,they took their time with u and very helpful , as I heard another customer ask if they done vegetarian frys .I would highly recommend this place , very clean also My daughter and I will go back again 😀👍😘

Stopping at the Premier Inn and found this lovely little cafe. It has an extensive menu and you will be served excellent quality food at very reasonable prices by the owner and staff who are really polite and most helpful, nothing is too much trouble. We will return again on our next trip to Bangor and would recommend it to anyone else who is looking for good food at a reasonable cost. Many thanks Barrie and Eve

We were in a couple of days ago... Going back tomorrow... Best ulster fry I've ever had great quality products.. Friendly staff.. Owner even offered to run us up to Premier Inn as she knew we were ambulant disabled.. Lesley you are a star and your lovely staff... Felt at home in the cafe.. Great atmosphere they are so attentive and kind to their customers

Lesley & Glenda work really hard at making Everyone welcome in the Cafe, it's a real life old time cafe where service & quality matter to everyone who enters, we had Lesleys homemade chicken curry I had chips my m8 had rice good portions too, (always) reasonably priced & good variety of foods, staff are always welcoming to customers & they know everyone's name which is another excellent plus for their standard of service 😋 we will be back. Thanks for a fantastic feed

No toilets, abit small and no room to really move but food was nice I suppose

Had breakfast here one day, and ordered the large breakfast. It was absolutely lovely, but so much of it, unfortunately a little got left on the plate. And I left feeling very satisfied and very full. If you want a decent cooked breakfast, this is the place to come.

Really cant whack this place, good food, friendly staff, you never wait long. Ive tried most places and Id say without doubt this is thee #1 fry in all of Ulster. Not to be missed.

We were recommended to try this cafe as we asked at the marina where was good for breakfast and they weren't wrong. Its only a small cafe but the welcome was friendly and the food was fantastic. We ordered 2 of the biggest breakfasts on the menu and with drinks they were less than £20 and absolutely delicious. We had bacon, sausage, eggs, fried potatoes, mushrooms, tomato, pancake, soda bread and potato cakes all cooked to perfection. Was very happy the walk was downhill on the way back!

Called today for lunch with my daughter and two grandkids great food cooked the way it should be and brilliant service Second to none very friendly excellent.

Visited here twice with my friend over the weekend. On each occasion we had the Big Taste Breakfast. Food was amazing and the staff were so friendly and welcoming. I will definitely be back next time I'm in Bangor.

We had breakfast here and I thought the menu was great. Pancakes, variety of fry ups, vegetarian options or select individual items. All good portions and very reasonably priced. Will definitely be back.

We had breakfast here every morning we were in Bangor, the food was fantastic and the staff really friendly and accommodating for my coeliac son, would recommend the cafe to anyone visiting the town

yes folks its official, the #1 fry in Bangor. Fresh food, hot plates with hot food, great service, if you havent tried taste yet make sure you do asap. Ive tried everywhere for a fry and none gets close. Top notch.
